Best makeup service ever!

Yen was the best makeup artist I could have asked for during my wedding! She was super responsive, professional, clear in communication, and did a superior job on my wedding makeup for a competitive price. My makeup lasted well over 12 hours in perfect condition and was exactly the look I wanted. Couldn’t have asked for better service for myself or my bridesmaids!

Highly recommend!!

Transcendent came through for me when I had a late change of plans with my hair vendor. Yen was SO responsive and easy to book and work with. We had Erin for hair and she was amazing! She worked with me during my trial to make my hairstyle vision come true. The day of, she was on time and everyone loved their hair! I highly recommend Transcendent Studio!

The best make up artist!!

You need to hire transcendent for make up!! Yen did a phenomenal job making me look like a Barbie princess. I don’t use a TON of make up and she knew exactly how much to use so I would feel comfortable yet beautiful on my special day! It also stayed in place all night through all the dancing and sweating! Transcendent is the way to go!

Heather was absolutely the best!

Heather did my hair for my wedding and my hair was absolute perfection!! I asked for soft glam waves and she killed it. All my girls who got their hair done also looked so great - she killed the party pony! Heather was also such a sweetheart and my dog absolutely loved her and just hung out with her all day. I could not have had my wedding without Heather, she made me feel like the most special bride. Thank you!

Anellyse was amazing!

I had Anellyse as my MUA for my wedding day and she was absolutely amazing!!! I am very indecisive and gave her a few ideas with freedom to do what she wanted and she nailed it. My trial I didn’t have to fix anything and she met the assignment for my wedding day! I couldn’t recommend her enough! My mom, MIL and sister all felt beautiful and so happy with their make up!

Beautiful hair for bride, bridesmaids, moms

Transcendent did hair for our wedding and they did a beautiful job!! My hair is very fine and long-ish (a few inches past my collarbones) and they helped come up with a style with some nice waves, hair partially up to keep it out of my face, but still enough volume to feel full. I felt awesome all day. Also, my bridesmaids and the moms looked beautiful too! The Transcendent team is so kind and easy to work with - highly recommend.

The Transcendent Team Is The Best!

I first met Stacie when I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding and I instantly fell in love with her work. I am very picky when it comes to make-up, but I loved the way Stacie did my make-up for that wedding. When I got engaged, I knew that I needed to have Stacie and the Transcendent team as part of my day. They did not disappoint! I had a large bridal party with 13 bridesmaids and was initially worried that we would not all be able to be ready in time on the morning of the wedding. However, the Transcendent team was able to accommodate my large bridal party without any issue and met the make-up desires of all of my bridesmaids. Stacie did my personal make-up exactly as I had envisioned and I so thankful for her expertise and talents and to have had her on my special day!

The best!

Yen & Meghan were incredible to work with for our wedding! I booked with Transcendent because I know they do great work (did both my sister’s & MOH’s weddings). I had my hair and makeup done by Yen & Meghan at my matron of honors wedding and I knew I had to have them for my wedding! After booking a venue and solidifying a date, Transcendent was the first vendor I booked!

Yen was super responsive to all my questions and was accommodating with any adjustments I needed to make. She was even able to order me a full sized lipstick for the day of my wedding & I know I’ll continue to use it!

When I had my trial it was such a comfortable experience and the end result was perfect! Fast forward to the day of the wedding, both Yen & Meghan arrived early which helped the day run smoothly. All hair and makeup looked beautiful and was done ahead of schedule! Having a few extra minutes really helped to calm my nerves on the big day. Both Yen & Meghan are great to talk to and my entire bridal party and both mothers were so pleased with their work. There is no reason to look elsewhere for hair and makeup because Transcendent is the best in CT!!

Absolute Perfection

I truly am beyond blown away by my entire experience with the Transcendent Makeup & Hair Team! In the beginning of my wedding process I was stressed about finding the right hair and makeup team for my big day. I read every review, spoke to numerous friends and family members, and highly researched all options from all angles. And, I landed right where I was meant to be and couldn’t be happier!

Stacie was my makeup artist, and her level of professionalism was more than I could have ever asked for. She was prompt when responding to my emails, highly organized and the team’s wedding contract was clear and detailed. I did my trial back in October 2021 for a June 2022 wedding, and during my trial, Stacie took my inspiration photos and delivered my look to a whole new level. She gave me the perfect rose gold eye, with just the right amount of a wing and then applied individual eyelashes so my eyes didn’t appear heavy with a huge lash strip weighing them down. She truly catered to my individual eye shape (same with all my bridesmaid) and made me look like the best version of myself on my wedding day!

Also, during the time of my trial, I expressed to Stacie that the “Moms” (Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom) were both unsure and nervous about having their hair and makeup done. As the bride, I thought it was important to have both Moms get pampered on the morning of my wedding. This is as much their day, as it is mine! So we scheduled a trial for the Moms in March and both Stacie and my hair stylist Nicole, made them feel so comfortable and beautiful that they agreed to both servies. I was so happy that they weren’t pushy and salesman like when working with the Moms. They truly made the experience so pleasant for them and my Mom was in tears because for once, she was the one getting pampered. I was so happy that Stacie and the team made my dreams come true and both Moms looked so beautiful!

Now to my hair stylist Nicole! I expressed to Stacie that I wanted a timeless look for my hair. I wanted to look back on my hair 10, 20, 30 years from now and still be in love with it. I decided on 1920’s glamour waves! Hence, the perfect pairing with Nicole! Nicole is a true master when it comes to glamour waves! No joke, she takes master classes all around the country in order to achieve the perfect glamour wave. She is the best in the business! When we did my trial I was in love. She knew exactly what she was doing, how to set my hair, the right products for my type of hair, and she had the proper tools to achieve this look! Even from the time of my trial in October, Nicole would message me with updates on how she was going to evaluate my look even more! Or that she learned a new technique and couldn’t wait to do it on my wedding day! Nicole brings all the right kind of energy!

Overall, Transcendent made my wedding day all to easy! I had big bridal party that consisted of 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and me the bride, with a ceremony start time of 1:00pm. Talk about stressful, but they made it feel easy. They stayed right on schedule, nothing felt rushed, and I had the best morning with all the girls! Please reference the photos below for their amazing work! My hair and makeup stayed ALL DAY AND NIGHT and let me tell you, I DANCED the night away! I highly recommended this team for your big day or if you are in need of hair and makeup services! THEY ARE THE BEST and I am forever grateful for them being apart of my special day!

More than just amazing hair and makeup!

Stacie and Nicole did makeup and hair for my wedding. Their work is amazing. Beautiful when it was first done and hair and makeup stood up to a full day of heat and dancing! Stacie and Nicole also have the calming presence every bride needs on their wedding day. They made me feel special from the trial to the wedding day, made sure I was eating and staying hydrated all wedding morning, and helped me stay relaxed. I can’t say enough good things about them. They are amazing all around!

Simply the best!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Yen, Shirley and the whole Transcendent team was during my trial and on my wedding day! They were so easy to work with leading up to the wedding – Yen was super communicative, flexible and so genuinely friendly. She was such a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process and that rang true for entire Transcendent team that came to prep my family/friends on the morning of the wedding.

I’ve been in a lot of weddings, believe me when I say this group of ladies is THE MOST talented group of hair stylists/makeup artists I’ve worked with. They easily accommodated my large bridal party and kept everything really seamless the day of the wedding, even finishing the group early with plenty of time to prep for pictures. I felt so relaxed that morning knowing the glam was in great hands! The Transcendent team worked with each woman to make sure that their hair/makeup was exactly what they wanted – seriously everyone is still talking about how much they loved their hair/makeup and the Transcendent ladies! I loved looking around the room and seeing all of them smiling and admiring themselves.

My bridal hair and makeup blew me away!! I felt so beautiful as every bride should! Yen and Shirley worked with me to give me the exact look I was dreaming of for my wedding day. All day (and night!) I was getting compliments on my makeup and hair, and it kept so well throughout the wedding and reception.

The Transcendent team gives you the experience every bride is hoping for! I will most definitely be reaching out to Transcendent for my future special occasions.

Dream Team!

I was looking for a team to travel to me. What was appealing to me was that they had hair AND make up team with one correspondent. I worked with Yen and Shirley and they were an absolute DREAM! I coordinated with Yen on several accounts for my engagement hair and make up, my bridal shower hair and make up, and my wedding. Yen emailed me back in a timely and professional matter every time! Yen and Shirley not only did beautifully amazing work, but were so patient and caring to myself, my bridesmaids, flower girls, and my mom on the day of! There were many different personalities and styles, and Yen and Shirley were so go with the flow! I recommend them to anyone and everyone I know and will be back for more events!

Loved working with Yen

Great to work with Yen who listened and understood what style I wanted for wedding makeup. She also did the makeup for my bridesmaids, and made everyone feel comfortable. I am very thankful to have had Transcendent Makeup as my hair and makeup vendors for my wedding! Yen and Shirley were super attentive, professional, and fun during all the stages of the wedding, from the hair and makeup trials to the day of the wedding. They were also flexible in making any hair or makeup adjustments needed on the bridal party and helped me feel more relaxed during the wedding day. I loved how my hair and makeup stayed in place for the entire time of the wedding, especially the veil (thanks Shirley!). Mackenzie is incredible!

Transcendent makeup was a great choice for my wedding day makeup! My make-up artist, Mackenzie, was one of the most talented people I have ever met. I have seriously never seen my wedding party look better. She chose color palettes that complemented each girl so incredibly. My make-up held throughout the full day of drinking, eating, and 90% humidity. Highly highly recommend Mackenzie!

All communications went through Yen, who was always kind and quick to respond to any questions leading up to the wedding day!

August 2021 Wedding

Stacie and Yen’s team is incredible! Their communication was clear and responses were timely. As we currently live out of state, they went out of their way to accommodate my trial during the busy summer season, and were very flexible when we had to reschedule from 08/2020 to 08/2021 due to COVID-19. I rarely do much more than straighten my hair and wear pretty basic makeup, so I was a little apprehensive about looking too made up for my wedding day. However, they captured exactly what I wanted - a natural bronzed and glowy look. Despite the 90 degree heat and getting ready at 6 am, my makeup did not budge, and I didn’t look shiny at all. My hair looked perfect, even heading into my after party. They made my mom look and feel like a queen, and all of my bridesmaids loved their looks as well. They were on time, professional, funny, and they very clearly love what they do. I would highly recommend Transcendent to everyone!

June 2021 Wedding

Yen and her team were amazing to work with every step of the way! As someone who doesn’t know how to do my own hair or makeup, I admire their work, and I loved how special they made me and my bridesmaids feel on my wedding day. They can accommodate all skin types and textures, as well as all types of hair. I have extremely thin, brittle hair that makes it challenging to work with for a special event. But Kelly and yen made me feel great and gave me no reason to be self-conscious that day. If you’re looking to kick off your wedding day with a group of fun and hardworking stylists, look no further! Highly recommend!

You’ll feel so beautiful!!

Yen was awesome! My makeup artist fell through 3 months before my wedding, and I’m so glad that happened or I wouldn’t have found Yen. She is such a sweet person, and REALLY knows her stuff. I am Asian with monolids, and have never enjoyed makeup because I feel it makes me look weird. At my trial, Yen gave me tips to use in everyday makeup, and even helped me learn that I have hooded monolids, which no one has ever told me! She was able to accentuate what I wanted (I love my freckles and didn’t want them hidden, and also wanted my eyes to look bigger) and make me look flawless while still looking like myself. On the day of, Yen and Mackenzie arrived, set up super quickly, and got to work. Everyone loved their makeup and said it was the best makeup they’ve ever had done. When it was my turn, Yen talked to me about normal things and kept me calm, and the next thing I knew, I was all done. I can’t thank her enough for making me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. Now I know that makeup doesn’t have to make me look weird if you have a talented, incredible makeup artist like Yen! I will be going back to her for all special event makeup!! Highly recommend!

Everyone looked gorgeous!

Wow, we are so blown away by Yen and Shanice for hair and makeup of the bridal party. They were both so patient and really wanted each girl to share what they envisioned. My mother in law was going to do her own makeup and after seeing all of the bridesmaids, myself and my mom she changed her mind on the spot and had flawless makeup like the rest of us! Beautiful!

Yen, Shirley, Danyell, and Meghan were the glam squad of our dreams!

Yen was so quick to respond to any questions I had leading up to my wedding and also was amazing for a trial. My makeup and hair (plus my 7 bridesmaids and mom and MIL) stayed flawless all day (12+) hours. The Team made me Feel Truly Beautiful :)

The Transcendent Makeup team is amazing! We hired TM to do my wedding hair & makeup, as well as my bridal party's. I was so nervous about my makeup because I had no idea what I wanted, but after two makeup trials with Anellyse, a lot of tweaking, and Anellyse's generous patience, we hit the mark. And somehow on the day of, it looked even BETTER. Shirley styled my hair and hit it out of the park- it honestly looked better than the Pinterest photos I showed her! Danyell & Shanice also made-up my party and made them feel incredibly beautiful. Yen & Stacey have put together a phenomenal team, and I couldn't be more grateful. Yen's Makeup Services Were Amazing

Yen was my bridal makeup artist with the Transcendent Makeup and Hair Company. Yen was amazing! She was so flexible throughout all the changes that came upon our wedding because of covid. She listened to my makeup concerns, desires and ideas and put them all together into a beautiful job that made me feel special and my husband swoon! Not only all of that but she's very kind and was able to make me feel at ease when my wedding plans were all up in the air! I would 100% recommend using Yen and this company for your makeup and hair needs!

Amazing hair & makeup!

Stacie and Shirley did an incredible job with my bridal hair and makeup. I did a trial with them and knew that they were the right team for myself, my bridesmaids, and mothers. They are efficient, accommodating, personable, and knew exactly what we all wanted from pictures we showed them. Our makeup was natural, light, and stayed on the entire night, and so did our hairstyles. We all looked beautiful and our photos came out really nice as well. I HIGHLY recommend Transcendent to anyone looking for makeup & hair. I had a makeup & hair trial pre-pandemic with Yen/Shirley and they killed it, they did an amazing job. I've never had airbrushed makeup before but it came out fantastic, I was blown away. Yen is incredible with an airbrush. Plus, it was an enjoyable experience overall, they were extremely welcoming, kind, and fun to be around. I booked Transcendent for my wedding this year which we unfortunately ended up cancelling, to be rescheduled in the future, but I texted with Yen regularly and she has always been understanding and kind. All around, these are great ladies and they do an incredible job of making you look and feel fantastic.

Beautiful Makeup

I had Yen from Transcendent as my makeup artist on my wedding day and she was amazing! All my bridesmaids, mom, and I looked so good and she was so friendly, efficient, and accommodating while she did our makeup. Beautiful Make Up

I had hired Transcendent to do my bridal party's make up on October 10. I worked closely with Stacie leading up to the wedding. I was so impressed with my trial make up that I had no doubts that my entire bridal party's make up would be perfect. On the day of the wedding, Stacie and Adrienne absolutely killed everyone's make up. We received so many compliments throughout the night. The make up stayed completely intact the entire day. Thank you so much Transcendent for doing the most beautiful job.

Amazing and professional!

Stacie and Shirley were amazing and so professional! I spoke with a few different makeup and hair artists and I loved transcendent makeup the best for a few reasons – 1. They were Uber responsive and CALLED me a few hours after I put in a request. We had a quick phone call which was really nice and felt very genuine and warm. 2) They work with diverse clients and felt comfortable working with different skin tones and textures which I think is SUPER important, and 3) They are two best friends (Stacie and Yen) who started their own business and we couldn’t be happier to support a strong women-owned business. The process was very smooth and easy. Both Stacie (make up) and Shirley (hair) really listened to what I wanted and adjusted everything as needed. They also did full hair and makeup for my family and wedding party. They arrived early, were EXTREMELY efficient, very relaxing to talk to, and set a fun tone to the getting ready vibe. Stacie also did my engagement shoot hair and makeup and it was SO pretty! Would definitely hire them again for any type of professional makeup!!

Such a helpful team!

Jackie and Kristen on the Transcendent team were such a pleasure to work with and did a phenomenal job on mine and my bridesmaids' hair and makeup! From the trial to the day-of, Kristen and Jackie made me feel so comfortable and were extremely helpful! Other than some Pinterest pictures of hair, I really had no idea what I wanted for my wedding look. Jackie and Kristen took time to chat with me and created looks that helped me look my absolute best on my wedding day!

They were also so much fun to spend the morning with getting ready and stayed exactly on schedule all morning!

Stunning Hair and Makeup

I think I differ a bit from the way hair and makeup trends are going. Many vendors I looked at before seem to be specializing in that very "natural" look. As beautiful as that is.. I wanted to look very glam and made up on my wedding day.

After doing some research online and on Instagram, I came across Transcendent and one other vendor that had the glam style I was looking for. The other vendor was almost double the price, plus I was very impressed with Yen's professionalism and speed of response. I booked them and had Yen for my makeup and Adrianna for my hair.

We had a blast at the initial trial, plus I got to know both artists very well during it. I loved the way my initial trial came out, and had no concerns about the day of the wedding.

I decided to treat my wedding party, mom, and MIL to their hair and makeup as well. (Which is a great decision, as everyone looked amazing, and kept ranting and raving about their looks.) When it comes to vendors, I truly believe that you should just them an idea of what you are looking for, but trust their vision and give them the freedom to bring your vision to life.

Highly recommend for wedding hair and makeup!

I highly recommend using Transcendent Makeup for your wedding day hair and makeup. I considered several hair/makeup options – I could not be happier with my decision to work with Stacie and her team. They were a joy to work with (and as an added bonus they are more reasonably priced than others). Stacie was helpful, organized and quick to respond. I was amazed how quickly and efficiently the team setup their tools on the morning of the wedding. I was even more amazed at the hairstylists’ ability to create beautiful hairstyles on my 4-year-old flower girls while they wiggled all over. The team listened to ideas of what we may want and gave suggestions on what will work best for our look. It was especially nice to work with such lovely ladies first thing in the morning who made us feel comfortable and confident. The bridal party all looked amazing and I felt beautiful with my bridal hair and makeup.

Book Transcendent!!!

Transcendent did my hair & makeup for my wedding day and I was absolutely thrilled with how it turned out!! We did a trial session, and Jackie and Kristen were extremely responsive and worked hard to make it exactly what I wanted, and as a result on the day of my look turned out PERFECT! I had a large bridal party (10 people total) that they were doing hair/makeup for, and they were incredibly professional, organized, and friendly & kind to all of us. They showed up on site early and we ended up finishing ahead of schedule, which was huge for my wedding-day anxiety. All my girls were very pleased with how their looks turned out, and we got once in a lifetime photos out of it! Would definitely recommend their services!!

Wonderful!

I feel so lucky to have worked with Transcendent for the hair and makeup for my wedding! The trial went perfectly and then the day of my wedding went just perfectly as well, with the makeup and hair coming out exactly as I wanted. They were so lovely and friendly to work with, and they made me feel comfortable expressing exactly what I did and didn’t want for my makeup and hair. They were patient and made sure that I was truly happy and felt gorgeous. On the wedding day, they showed up on time and they helped to make the bridal suite getting ready experience even more fun! There were a lot of people in my bridal party, (and my mother and mother-in-law also had their hair and makeup done), but they stayed on-time and did an excellent job with everyone. Transcendent was wonderful, friendly, and professional every step of the way, and I cannot thank them enough! I would highly recommend them for your wedding!

This review is a long time coming. Last June I had a small last minute wedding and after scouting around for someone who would be able to take me in on such a short notice I found these wonderful ladies! They did an amazing job with my hair and makeup and I'm so grateful to them for their patience as I showed up late to both the trial run and on my wedding day. Sorry for that! Highly Reccomend

I used transcendent for hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party for my wedding last weekend. I would highly recommend!

I did not meet Stacie or Yen but the team they sent were great! They worked quickly and did an excellent job! Every girl is my party looked beautiful!

We had updos and they were perfect!

The makeup was air brush which was nice and the lashes were superior to one’s I’ve had as a bridesmaid previously.

I contacted very late in the game and worked with Yen to set everything up. She was so nice, professional, and easy to work with. When I was sick and had a family emergency she worked with me to change trial dates and really went out of her way to accommodate. She always responded very quickly and I cannot say enough good things about her.

They took different payment methods including Venmo, which for me was so easy.

I would definitely recommend!

Highly Recommend!

From the hair and makeup trial to the wedding day itself, Stacie and Adrianna did a fantastic job. I received countless compliments from guests and proudly recommended them throughout the whole day.
Stacie was great to work with from the beginning. I had trouble finding the perfect lip color, and she used one of my tried-and-true colors from home to perfectly match her own lipstick for the day-of. She went the extra mile and I can't thank her enough.
Adrianna did a great job on my hair and communicated well with what I was looking for. She even incorporated some hair accessories I brought on the wedding day without blinking an eye. Thank you!

Great experience!

I recently worked with Yen and Adrianna for my wedding in October 2018. I cannot say enough good things about these two! From our initial consult/trial, I knew they would be great to work with. They are responsive, professional, and so good at what they do! They made getting ready on wedding day a breeze. They worked their magic on hair and makeup for myself, my 5 bridesmaids, my mother, and my flower girl on wedding day - all on a slightly compressed schedule that we had to revise a few days before to accommodate for a last minute change-of-heart to do first-look pictures. All of my girls loved their hair and makeup, and loved Yen and Adrianna! They are so chill and easy to work with. They listened to feedback and direction and gave everyone exactly the look they wanted. I would definitely recommend working with Transcendent!

I hired Stacie and her team to do hair and makeup for my November 2017 wedding, and I am so glad I did! I met Stacie when she was working another friend's wedding in Connecticut in May, and I liked my hair and makeup so much I immediately asked her to do my wedding as well! I paid a small fee for her and her team to travel to Massachusetts for my Boston-area wedding, and it was so worth it.

They provided airbrush makeup application for 11 people and hair styling for 10 all within the span of 4.5 hours. It was incredible. The team was quick, professional, and fun! I had a trial earlier in the year (included in my package) that helped me feel even more comfortable.

My airbrush makeup application looked as flawless at the end of the night as it did at the beginning. My hairstyle held up during travel to the venue in the rain, photos outside during a brief respite, and even looked great after I danced the night away. Thank you!

It had taken me some time to FINALLY find a flexible & available make up artist leading up to the weeks and days of our wedding. Yen is extremely professional, sweet, punctual, made herself available and is talented in her products, knowledge base and all that she does! She helped to first jazz me up (trial run) for our Jack & Jill. She also did a great job on my make up before a boudoir photoshoot surprise I had been planning as a gift for my husband. She also did a GREAT job, beautifying my beautiful bridal party (one in which had sensitive skin & was apprehensive. But, Yen reassured all of her products are specific for sensitive skin) I believe Yen was flexible on using my bridesmaides foundation on her skin for the sake of reassurance. However, this bridesmaids skin remained clean and clear in the days following our wedding. I would reccomend Yen's services to anyone! She did a fabulous job! And was one of the most reasonably affordable for the awesome outcome of our big day! Pictures are forever!! Thanks again ;-)

Stacie really catered to me and my girls. Her professionalism and talent made my wedding day even more spectacular. She made me feel beautiful both inside and out. Stacie was amazing! Not only is she a wonderful make up artist, but she is so kind and caring. After being in other weddings and having the makeup caked on, working with Stacie was a breath of fresh air. The air brush is so light and stays for hours. I was much tanner at my wedding than when I had my trial and Stacie matched me perfectly. It was really important to me to look like myself on my wedding day (my best self) and I felt like Stacie really enhanced my natural beauty. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day without feeling too made up. I also had 6 bridesmaids that got their make up done too and we finished with plenty of time. Yen and Megan were the BEST team ever! I am so happy that I chose them. This was probably the hardest vendor to chose because our wedding was in CT and we live in TX, but from the moment I had my hair and makeup trail, I knew I made the right choice. Yen did makeup for me (the bride), my and my husband's mothers, and one of my sisters. I really procrastinated finding a MUA, so I was relieved that I was able to find someone so skilled and easy to work with. I loved how I looked and felt. I normally don't wear makeup, so I was worried, but the airbrush makeup was light and the natural look I wanted was perfectly executed. I Highlights: contracted for three people, but she had extra time, so did a fourth as well; I got the most massive back zit of my life the week of my wedding (like so scary looking I went to urgent care) and she made it look like it never even happened for no extra charge; warm, calming demeanor that is exactly what you need as you get ready for such an important day. I also really appreciated that she was totally unfazed by my toddler nephew's incessant questions; she worked at the AirBnB where my parents, three sisters, and toddler nephew were staying, and you wouldn't know from her demeanor that we weren't in a salon. In summary, I definitely recommend Transcendent and Yen to anyone!

I cannot say enough good things about Stacie and Meghan! I had a plan of hiring my moms hair dresser do to my and my bridal partys' makeup and hair. We did a trial run and the hairdresser didn't listen to a single thing I wanted, I left the experience unhappy and frustrated. I was 2 months away from my wedding and was upset that if I didn't lower my standards that I may not find anyone who would give me exactly what I wanted.
I contacted Stacie, hoping for some luck. Not only was I booking pretty short notice for a pretty decent bridal party (8 people), but my wedding day was Mother's day which can make it a pretty tall order. Stacie was very good at communicating in a timely fashion and being very clear about what she offered, prices, and most of all that she would listen to me.
Stacie booked a trial run with me. The trial was fabulous, I felt beautiful. I am a little to no makeup type of girl but the airbrush really helps it feel light and doesn't give you that orange or mask looking appearance that a lot of concealer can give you. Meghan also did an amazing work. I had been trying to find someone who could do a waterfall braid. Every time I did a trial with someone else or my own aunt we couldn't get it the way I wanted it. Then here comes Meghan to the rescue. First try, she gets EXACTLY what I wanted. It looked gorgeous.
The wedding day was perfect. Stacie and Meghan did a fabulous job at giving me and my bridesmaids what we wanted. They finished all of us in plenty of time so I didn't even need to remotely worry about our timeline. It may not be important to every bride but I also just want to note that both Stacie and Meghan are very present when it comes to doing their work and taking in what you want. One of my bridesmaids was so impressed with their work that she decided to hire them for her own wedding this coming November. I cannot wait to work with you talented ladies again. Thank you so much for everything. You did a fantastic job.

I recently hired Transcendent to do our makeup for my wedding. A had had my make up done by them (as a bridesmaid) for my friend's wedding 2 years ago and knew I had to have them for mine. Stacie was wonderful to work with! She is very accommodating with scheduling for the big day as well as the make up trial. She even had me come for a second trial as I was unsure of how I felt about the eyeliner the first time. She wanted to make sure the make up was what I had envisioned prior to the wedding day. She does absolutely beautiful work! My make up looked great all throughout the evening, nothing ran at all. My mother and bridesmaids absolutely loved their make up as well. I was very pleased with how everything turned out and I would HIGHLY recommend Transcendent!

Yen did make up on my wedding day for myself and 7 other people. Her work is amazing! She was efficient and professional and a friendly face I could talk to. She even squeezed in one more person last minute for me and still finished with time to spare. I would definitely recommend Yen and plan on using her in the future. She made me feel like the most beautiful bride

I had another trial before choosing Yen because the other was rough on my eyes, and I wear contact lenses. Yen and her partner were fantastic and gentle with our hair and make up. We looked elegant and natural. Our hair was exquisite, and stayed in place all evening, even through the wind of our photos outside, and vigorous dancing. The air brush foundation was perfectly matched to everyone's skin tone and looked invisible. Yen even plucked my eyebrows to make sure I looked perfect. They came with all of their equipment to my hotel room, and did not complain about anything, lighting, space, etc. They did such a marvelous job with our hair and make up that we looked like models! But we still looked like ourselves, only better. I would highly recommend them to any bride and bridal party. They are professional, kind, patient, and dosuperior work!

I used Transcendent for both hair and makeup for my February 2016 wedding. Stacie was very responsive to my initial inquiry, as well as all subsequent emails and phone calls. She worked around my hectic schedule to find a convenient time for the trial, and was early to arrive both the day of the trial and the day of the wedding so she and the hairstylist were set up and ready by the time I sat. I felt very comfortable with her and was impressed with the knowledge and understanding she has of the industry as well as the art (and it really is an art!) of makeup. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Stacie to any bride. I do not wear makeup normally and she went out of her way to make sure l was satisfied, including an additional trial at no cost. The day of the wedding she was super flexible with the number of girls that she did makeup for, even adding on a few of my friends who were not in the bridal party. She was very professional and very easy to communicate with. Overall I would highly recommend her services.

Stacie is one of a kind makeup artist. Her talent and professionalism are second to none. She will transform any girl into an absolutely beautiful person - with attention to detail I have rarely seen anywhere else. She will put you at ease right away, and she'll make sure all your concerns and suggestions are met. It's not just the end result that I loved so much, it's my experience with Stacie as well.

It is a genuine pleasure to work with her and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone for their wedding. I can't tell you how happy I am with her work, and will tell anyone around me how great she was with me! 5 stars all the way!

Stacie did a great job with my makeup trial for my engagement shoot and for my wedding day makeup. She worked with me to create the look I wanted. I looked very natural and my face looks great in my pictures! My mom and all of my bridesmaids looked amazing as well! Stacie did a great job working with all of the different skin tones of everyone and giving everyone the look they were hoping for.

Yen was absolutely AMAZING to work with! She was always early, always had a smile on her face, and made me seem like her number one priority.

On our wedding day she stayed late to make sure my makeup was picture perfect before leaving for the venue, which was awesome. I felt 100% comfortable working with her, you can tell she loves what she does and I knew she would make me look beautiful. ??

I absolutely LOVED Transcendent for my hair and makeup for my wedding. Yen was the best makeup artist I could have asked for and she did everything she had to to make sure my wedding was perfect. I had an allergic reaction during my trial so she sought out a new airbrush gun that would take the Mac makeup I had in order for me not to react. I wanted a glam look and she pulled it off perfectly. Our pictures are perfect because of the makeup! My hair was great, I wish I had asked for a couple minor tweaks but that was on me and not my hair stylists. Both women were troopers, they showed up ready to go at 7am and worked all morning! I would highly recommend the group if you are looking for stunning makeup and hair for your wedding.

Stacie was AMAZING. I am not a makeup person - I rarely even wear eyeliner/mascara. However, once I had the trial and kept forgetting that I had airbrush or even fake lashes on, I knew I had to book Stacie. Her calming demeanor (she's super sweet!) was really nice to have during the planning and on the day of the wedding. My bridesmaids and mother/mother-in-law really liked her service too, and everyone was quite pleased with the super competitive pricing. I felt beautiful, and everyone commented on how natural, but perfect my face looked - which is exactly the look I wanted! The make-up lasted for 24 hours - I took it off the morning after my wedding. It was 90+ on my wedding day, and that had no effect on the make-up. I look forward to seeing Stacie again when my friend uses her as her makeup artist in September.

There aren’t enough stars for Stacie! She did the make-up for my mom, three bridesmaids and me… all came out gorgeous in person and in pictures! I don’t normally wear make-up, other than some eye make-up. My Mom and other girls DO, so I was worried about how we would look and what they would think, having preferences for their own make-up. I opted to have a trail run with Stacie a few weeks ahead of time. She was very professional and very friendly and immediately put me at ease. She has a range of looks she can do and I opted for the more ‘natural’ make-up look for the girls and me.

She truly made us look like better versions of ourselves… expertly dealing with sunspots, face fuzz and blemishes. I was worried that getting make-up done would make me look too fake or not like myself, but the way Stacie put on the make-up (there were a variety of types, including airbrushing!) it really made me look like a fabulous up close and in pictures. She even applied individual eyelashes to look more natural. My Mom and girls loved it too!

Stacie estimated how long it would take for each girl perfectly and was done right on time. She is also a wonderful person, and it was nice to share my wedding morning with her while we got ready.

I had my make-up done for my baby-shower and it was flawless best make-up I ever had. I was very happy with the results everyone commented on how beautiful I looked that day. I would recommend this to my friends and family. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Yen did a beautiful job on my makeup. I was looking for something elegant but glamourous for my cousin's wedding. The makeup felt so natural since I have oily Asian skin and I received numerous compliments on my smokey eyes and the lashes she placed for me. She has a natural talent in her artwork and I would highly recommend her to any event or wedding that is in the near future.

Transcendent was amazing! The makeup lasted the whole day/night. It was light on my face. I didn't break out at all, which is a miracle since I have very oily skin. Our bridal party had Yen for the day and she was very professional and on time. We were in a time crunch, but she worked quick and still did an amazing job. I would definitely work with Transcendent again!

Kim did an AMAZING job!!! She is personable, friendly, and easy to work with. Not only is she extremely talented and creative herself but she is open minded and works diligently with the client to ensure the finished product is EXACTLY what they want. Not only did we have fun with Kim while she did my make-up, but I have never felt more beautiful in my life than when I saw the finished product...the best part about her work is it looks very natural, not over-done, and looks stunning. As a wedding photographer I have worked with Kim and the Transcendent team at several weddings and I can honestly say that she is one of my all time favorite makeup artists.
