Wearing a white wedding dress dates back to the 19th century, but today’s bride is no longer bound by tradition. Hollywood brides have started to wear colorful wedding dresses -- Jessica Biel and Reese Witherspoon both donned pink -- so it’s only natural that brides everywhere would be inspired.
While ivory and blush pink gowns are becoming more and more popular, a few designers took a giant leap by creating styles in every color of the rainbow, including green, purple and gold. Not sure your ceremony can handle such a radical look? Wear something traditional for the “I dos” and then slip into a colored gown to dance the night away.
