walking down the isle song
I was listening to songs for the wedding and I listened to the song my endless love by mariah carry. I was thinking about using this when I am about to walk down the isle either that or the traditional song. I am not sure if the song from mariah is a good song to use. what do you think about using this song. any suggestions.

Certainly not a bad choice at all, however if your ceremony is taking place in a Church or "House of Worship" it might not be appropriate. If your looking for something non-traditional but still very nice, look into Canon in D or also Only Time by Enya in a instrumental version. I hope I have helped you, happy planning...CJ

I am having mine in a church and I'm doing "when you wish upon a star". It's my fav song. My church probably wouldn't be ok with your song choice, but I like it and if your venue is good with it, go for it! remember, it's YOUR big day :)

Try going on limewire and you will find many artists have different versions of you favorite song. Some you may have never heard!
For example I chose Ava Maria in memory of my Mom but selected one of SEVEN artists' versions that had a more casual overtone unlike the original which is definitely a church version.

Have you thought about maybe having your girls walk down the aisle on Mariah's song and you walk down on the Traditional wedding song?

As a wedding DJ I'd recommend picking a song that means something to you in case someone asks you why you picked that song. Maybe it was the first song you to danced to. Another idea is to check there is a group called "Vitamin String Quarter" and they have done many contemporary songs, but they have reworked them as instrumentals
