  Shannon is so much fun to work with and her photography is beautiful!

  Shannon is not only an amazing photographer, but one of our favorite wedding vendors we worked with! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera because from the moment we met her we felt like we had been long lost friends. Her work is absolutely stunning, and she captured all of the emotions of the day. She listened to our ideas about what we wanted, then worked her magic to provide us with beautiful lifelong memories from our day. I have to admit, as a girl a lot of us have "our good side" and I told her my preferred side but explained not every shot had to be that side (thinking she'd also think I'm crazy and a bridezilla), but I kid you not, every single photo is of my good side. It's a tiny detail but the bigger picture is it goes to show she listens, and truly wants you to have the photos you'll love. Our wedding is over, and we have the beautiful photographs, but we miss Shannon already!!!

  Simply said, if you are searching for a photographer, book Shannon MCMillen RIGHT NOW. We were referred to Shannon through a friend in the wedding industry, and I am SO thankful! During our wedding budgeting process, the decision of booking a very reputable, trusted, and professional photographer was the most important to us, since of course, the day cannot be reproduced.
  There are not enough wonderful things to say about Shannon, her talent, and our experience:
  1) Shannon was strictly on-time according to our day-of timeline. Our wedding was way out in the middle of nowhere, which was no problem for her. Photographing the groomsmen and bridal party at separate locations was a non-issue and she stayed right on schedule.
  2) We were amazed at how low-profile Shannon was throughout the whole day. She worked extremely hard, caught every moment and every guest, and yet she was practically invisible.
  3) The wedding party all discussed how easy, personable, and relaxed Shannon was to work with. Normally, we would have felt stiff and stressed about taking pictures, but she made that part especially fun, natural, and fit our personalities. Her demeanor and disposition made us comfortable instantly. When I looked at our pictures, I felt like she captured the "real" us as a couple.
  4) HER WORK! When we received our photos, we were addicted to viewing them. The lighting, the surroundings, the moments, the looks we gave each other, the dancing, guests, every photo was thoughtful and absolutely breathtaking. Every detail of our wedding was caught and I'll cherish them forever.
  Shannon McMillen is a highly-talented photographer that is simply above the rest. When you are deciding on a photographer, Shannon is who you call first. I cannot imagine our wedding day without her!

  This is long overdue, but Shannon is absolutely amazing! I can't imagine having anyone else photograph my engagement session or my wedding. I definitely would not want anyone else! She even photographed our friends' wedding too! She entirely puts you at ease and makes you laugh the whole time! I never thought I would be so comfortable making out with my husband in front of someone I hardly knew at the time! But Shannon is so much fun to work with and the end product is the most beautiful collection of photographs you could hope for. They are worth every single penny! If you're looking for someone very experienced who can provide you with photos that will make you cry those happy tears, but also provide you with some that will make you laugh, Shannon is your girl! Seriously though, our parents started crying when they saw some of the photos. And the way she was able to photograph us with the light was seriously breathtaking. Truly magical! Thank you a million times over Shannon!

  Amazing, the best word to describe Shannon! We had booked her for our engagement photos because our wedding photo package(with a different company) didn't come with an engagement shoot. The moment we met her we clicked. She was so outgoing and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She was prompt and the photos were amazing! She came to my family's house to finish the photos and my whole family adored her. She fit right in and now they all have asked for her number to photograph their family!
  
  As we paid for the engagement shoot I told my then fiancé, "we need her for the wedding!" I figured because her quality & experience she would be more expensive then our current photographer... So we asked her for wedding prices and what was included only to find she was a bit less plus included a whole lot more in her package so we booked her.
  
  Leading up to the wedding everyone one was talking about how excited they were, including my now husband and myself, to see Shannon! She showed up at my mom's house and got to work. I told her where everything was; my dress, shoes, invitations, and other articles she wanted to photograph and she went to work. She also worked very well with the videographer we hired. Her second shooter went to be with the guys and helped photograph the ceremony. She was also great.
  
  We honestly adore her work & personality. She is our forever family photographer!

  I hired Shannon to photograph my studio and my staff for images to be used for marketing, updating our website, advertising and social media and I couldn't be more happy. She is such a lovely human and went above and beyond to accommodate our crazy schedules. She worked with us to get the correct look and feel that matched our brand and had great suggestions on angles, images and back grounds. She even moved furniture and plants around to help create the best look. Shannon was such a joy and so helpful in making everyone feel comfortable. She has magic powers that made my staff feel not only relaxed in front of the camera but drew out the beauty in each of them.   I couldn't recommend Shannon more! She is an incredibly talented photographer and did such an amazing job documenting our wedding day! I work in advertising and have worked with many photographers, Shannon is so professional and talented.
  
  She met with us early on in the process at the venue, was super helpful guiding how the day would flow and giving feedback to the schedule. She even connected me to my DJ and had other awesome people to recommend. I would send her weird questions (e.g. should my dress have beading?) and she would answer them all!
  
  Then on the day of - Shannon was fantastic. She kept the schedule moving, in fact we were AHEAD of schedule. She made me and my husband feel super comfortable and totally at ease. Especially in the more intimate moments, it didn't even feel like she was there! She would give us (much needed) direction and feedback (e.g. stand up straight, laughing outward etc.). We even changed locations to a ranch for our wedding party photos, she came along for the ride and totally captured the space perfectly. She even sat on the dirt at one point to get the shot!!! (talk about dedication!). She also had a skill for wrangling kids to capture the best possible shot, super impressed by that.
  
  Overall she was amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better photographer!!!

  Shannon shot our engagement photos and did an absolutely amazing job! She responded to all of my questions quickly and was very flexible and easy to work with. We felt very comfortable with her which made the whole experience so fun and easy! She turned around our pictures in a week and there are SO many good ones that we are having trouble narrowing down which ones to use for our Save the Date! I love that everything is posted online so we can share them with our families who live far away. Thanks Shannon!!

  Shannon McMillen is THE BEST! I don't even know where to start because she is just so wonderfully fabulous! She shot our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and they are absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous! She captured our wedding day so beautifully, and I cannot stop staring at the wonderful pictures that she took. Not only is she a fabulous photographer, but she is an amazing person as well! She has a wonderful personality and just makes you feel so comfortable and at ease. Not only do I have wonderful pictures and memories to remember the best day ever, but I gained a great friend as well! There is no doubt in my mind that she will be my photographer for years to come! I highly recommend Shannon to anyone wanting amazing pictures of their special day! She gives you that and so much more!

  I cannot begin to explain how wonderful it was to have Shannon as our photographer for our wedding! She was so incredible to work with from start to finish. She was super helpful in the planning process of everything, and was extremely prompt in answering all of our random questions we had before the event (and was super sweet, informative and patient with all of them!).
  
  On the actual day of our wedding what we loved most about Shannon was the level of comfort we all felt with her. She is so personable, and such a sweet, sincere and wonderful person! She made it so fun for all of us, we could not have imagined having anyone else there taking photos. She was also VERY helpful in directing us for different posses, as well as giving us pointers on things to think of when getting your picture taken (which was SO much appreciated!)
  
  Upon viewing the photos Shannon took of us, we were totally blown away! They turned out better than we could have ever imagined! She has such an incredible and creative eye for lighting, finding small special details, grouping people well, and best of all, GREAT candid shots! We can't put into words how happy we are with ALL of our photos! We definitely recommend Shannon for any and all of your photography needs!

  My fiance and I love our wedding photos! Shannon and Sam are so talented when it comes to taking both in the moment photos, as well as more staged photos. They both have great ideas, work very well together, are a lot of fun, are flexible, take suggestions, and listen to what you want, and don't want. It was so much fun taking photos before and during the wedding, yet they made sure photography didn't take up all our time at the wedding.

  Shannon was absolutely amazing! Her personality, flexibility, and her enthusiasm for what she does is unmatched. I couldn't have asked for a better person to shoot my intimate wedding day with just myself and my husband. Traveling across the country to California to elope was so easy because Shannon made it so easy. Shannon I can't thank you enough for being such a significant part of my day. You will forever be in our hearts and memories. We have such great memories of our day every time we look at our photos. You truly captures what our love is really about. Traveling across the country to California to elope was so easy because Shannon made it so easy. Shannon I can't thank you enough for being such a significant part of my day.   Shannon was amazing. Photos of our wedding day were so important to us and finding the right photographer was our top priority. The first time we spoke with Shannon, we knew that her passion, sense of fun, and desire to make our photos the best was readily apparent.

Shannon has a relaxed and yet focused way in how she shoots, which makes for fun and naturally candid photos! We had Shannon take both our engagement and wedding photos.   Shannon not only takes beautiful pictures, but it is like having your best friend there by your side. My daughter chose Shannon to photograph her wedding in Avila Beach and Shannon was very easy to work, gave great direction, had great ideas for photos, and ready and willing to take suggestions. I love the pictures.

  Shannon and team were fun, laid back, and were a flexible, seamless part of a chaotic day. I coordinated most of my own vendors, which was fine until the chaos of the big day! Shannon arrived at the venue, we chatted for a few minutes...then she was off and running. She of course took the many all pictures I'd put on my list ahead of time, but more importantly she had a great sense of photos I'd want that I didn't even realize. She captured so many moments and important details that I didn't have the bandwidth to ask for...she just knew! Town and Country were a natural extension of our family and friends, and I'm so thankful they were there to photograph our big day.

  Shannon is amazing. She is so fun to take pictures with, and helps you feel comfortable with her around. She is so creative and catches beautiful moments. Shannon guided us through the photography process and we ended up with gorgeous engagement and wedding pictures that really showed off who we are as a couple.
