Dr. Koepfer gave us the ceremony of our dreams. We really could nmot have imagined a more perfect cermony that incorporated our individuality and spirituality.
From the very beginning, I knew that Dr. Koepfer was someone special. Something just clicked when I first spoke with her on the phone just a couple months after our engagement. Some of those elements might have more significance for my now husband and me, given that we are both physicians, and I, a physician-scientist. Dr. Koepfer is a also a biology professor and a former pre-med advisor. So the fact that she is a scientist who is deeply spiritual really appealed to me. Beyond that, Dr. Koepfer also has a very calm and calming demeanor. She is so warm and personable. She is also very learned and open-minded such that she brought something very special to our ceremony, something that I firmly believe no other celebrant could have done.
The process of designing and creating our ceremony was special and memorable in itself. We met with Dr. Koepfer twice to draft and edit our ceremony. And honestly we could carry on talking well beyond matters concerning our ceremonh details. She is responsive and accommodating. And what really touched my husband and I is how well she "got" us. That understanding of us came through clearly in even the very first draft of the ceremony.
And of course the actual ceremony itself was wonderful--- absolutely beautiful. So many of our family and friends commented on how special and personal our ceremony was and how warm Dr. koepfer was. She carried out the ceremony in the perfect tone and feel. My husband and I are so happy that Dr. Koepfer was our celebrant and feel very lucky that we found her.

Roberta is an amazing officiant, shes very flexible, easy going, caring and thoughtful. She will help you get all that you want from the ceremony and more. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect. It was all that we wanted. We Highly recommend Roberta because she is easy to work and very professional.

Roberta was a wonderful officiant! She was very intuitive, wrote a beautiful ceremony for us, and even stood out in the rain for our ceremony!! (We had someone hold an umbrella for her!) We are so glad to have found Roberta, and hope that others find her for the ceremony of their dreams.

My husband and I have an interfaith marriage and wanted to find someone that not only understood us but our different faiths as well. After meeting with many celebrants we found Dr. Koepfer and I knew that our wedding ceremony would be what we wanted! She helped us create the perfect ceremony to combine both faiths. She was respectful, helpful, and very friendly. I would recommend her to any of my friends and family.

The ceremony Roberta wrote for us was beautiful! She gave us a great selection of wonderful passages to modify and personalize to our particular needs. Roberta's style was very professional, soft, and spiritual, yet captivated our guests with a refined and elegant ceremony. We had an enchanting New York wedding in the ballroom at the New York Athletic Club on Central Park South overlooking Central Park, and Roberta set the tone with an eloquent poignant ceremony! I would highly recommend her to all couples that are seeking someone special to marry them on their wedding day!!

I feel TRULY lucky to have found Roberta for our wedding. She was everything we hoped for and more. I stumbled upon her web site and immediately knew I'd found the right person. Turns out, Roberta lives only a few blocks from our house! During our first meeting, my fiance and I knew that she was the one. She took her time getting to know us and truly aimed to make our ceremony completely tailored to us. And though she is able to make suggestions and share ideas, she didn't try to impose anything on our ceremony and was unbelievably flexible and understanding. Roberta will work with you as long as it takes to get your ceremony perfect. And she really knows what she's doing. When we got the first draft of our ceremony, we couldn't believe how beautiful it was. We made a few edits to fit our style and needs, and Roberta was always responsive and accessible during the whole process. She is a true professional with such a kind spirit and heart. Roberta was on time and fantastic at our wedding. She made sure things ran smoothly and her officiant performance was flawless. Even as a gust of wind blew her pages out of order, she kept going as if nothing happened. She was totally prepared - having the ceremony mostly memorized. Her calm and kind presence really added to the loving and warm mood. I would absolutely recommend Roberta to anyone. We could not have been happier!

Choosing Roberta as our officiant was perhaps the best choice I made during my entire wedding process. She took a simple ceremony and created one for my husband and I that was beautiful, symbolic of us and still simple. As an interfaith couple, we wanted only a few religious touches in an otherwise secular ceremony and she was able to work those touches into our ceremony in such a way that noone's family was offended. During the rehearsal and the wedding, she was an incredibly calming presence and made a touchy situation incredibly easy without having to involve either my husband or I. I would recommend Stepping Stone Ceremonies to anyone getting married.

Roberta was a joy to work with from beginning to end. When we first met with her, I appreciated her thoughtful questions and the way she observed us as a couple and really paid attention to our answers. The ceremony Roberta wrote for us was beautiful and while she let us make all the edits we wanted, we didn't change too much from her first draft. What I appreciated most about working with Roberta was her responsiveness -- how quickly she got back to me any time I emailed, her patience with my many questions, and her very pleasant demeanor! So many of our guests complimented our ceremony, we know we made the right choice.

Roberta was exceptional! Immediately upon meeting her I knew she was going to marry us. She has a wonderful demeanor, and is so warm and kind hearted. She really listened to us and put together a wonderful ceremony, we absolutely loved the results. I have an aunt who is a retired Colonel in the US Army; she was completely enthralled by our ceremony. She raved about the spirituality of it and how it really portrayed us in such a loving way. It was off the charts fabulous.

Roberta married us on February 22, 2009, and we truly believe that she was the best officiant we could find. She listened to our needs and was very patient with our special wedding (we came from France to marry in New York City and we had to manage everything over the Internet).
Everything she suggested added truly nice moments to the ceremony and the speech she created after trying to know us was truly beautiful. All of our guests appreciated her too and everyone told us (with no exception) she was a great choice.
On top of doing a really good job, she agreed to read part of the ceremony speech in French for the members of our family who did not speak English.
We would recommend her without hesitating a second.

Stepping Stone Ceremonies provided us with a completely unique, meaningful, and unforgettable wedding ceremony. There was a wonderful, open communication with the officiant and she considered our input sincerely and incorporated it into a beautifully crafted ceremony. The officiant was very patient with our schedules and was very willing to adjust her own to make things more convenient for us.
After the ceremony, we received many compliments from guests on how beautiful the event was crafted and executed.
In summary, our wedding would not have been as beautiful or as deeply moving if it were not for the skill and care of the officiant from Stepping Stone Ceremonies.

Roberta is a warm, caring, and kind person. She really got to know each of us and our personalities and tastes so she could help us to design our ceremony. We are both non-traditional when it comes to religion, and she helped us to create a ceremony that was meaningful to each of us. My husband has children from a previous relationship and we wanted to make them a part of the ceremony, as well. Roberta had some really great ideas on how to include them and celebrate not only our new marriage, but also our new family. She really listened to us and put a lot of thought into the ceremony. We even had a stone ceremony where every guest was given a stone and made a wish for us, which we collected at the end and still have in our house to remind us of the day and how important each guest is to us. It is a wonderful keepsake, and one that we'll love to display long after the wedding is over. So if your looking for real personal attention and something more to your tastes than the standard ceremony, I highly recommend Roberta Koepfer. Thanks Roberta!
