Officiant NYC offers non-denominational, spiriitual & religious ceremonies, as well as traditional or cultural ceremonies for all couples. With Officiant NYC, you don't have to fit your wedding into a particular box or type of wedding. We respect all cultures and religions, as well as all LGBTQIA+ couples who wish to wed in New York City. Individuality is key, which is why one of our Officiant NYC officiants will meet with you prior to the wedding to discuss any readings, poems, genres,or styles you have envisioned.

He took the time to get to know us personally, adding some beautiful touches and kind words into our ceremony. My new husband and I love to laugh and Alex was amazing at adding a touch of humour to our perfect ceremony bringing a smile to the faces of our guests. We can’t recommend him enough, if you’re looking for a wedding officiant Alex is definitely your guy, he’s just wonderful! If we could do it all again tomorrow we wouldn’t change a thing!
An Unforgettable Day in The City
Alex has such an amazing personality and an infectious, positive energy that immediately puts you at ease. He is kind, thoughtful, passionate, genuine, and so incredibly personable. There wasn't a single moment where we felt stressed, rushed, pressured, or worried about what came next. He had EVERYTHING taken care of. We were able to simply be present, soak in every second, and enjoy the moment together.
The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful. Alex brought so much warmth, sincerity, and heart to every word. You could genuinely feel how much he loves what he does, and that passion shines through in the way he treats the couples he marries. It was intimate, meaningful, emotional, and everything we wanted our wedding to be.
Officiant NYC's prices are the most reasonable i found. Communication was fantastic, emails, phone appointments, and a personalized questionnaire. They file your marriage license with the court and send you the tracking info in an email!! No extra travel fee for going into Manhattan, either!
It's been two weeks since our wedding, and we're STILL riding the high of that day! We find ourselves looking back and smiling, wishing we could experience every second all over again. Officiant NYC played the biggest part of that, and we'll forever be grateful.
Amanda was amazing
Amanda also took care of all legal requirements discreetly and efficiently. She advised us on everything we needed (which was complicated by needing prior divorce decrees across State lines) and made herself available at a moment’s notice for all of our questions, requests, and changes along the way.
Of course, while we do not plan to get married again ourselves, we loudly and unreservedly recommend Amanda to anyone who wishes to themselves get married (for the first or whatever-eth time) in a way that reflects who you each are as individuals, and as the next happy couple.

Our venue unfortunately didn’t allow us to have a formal rehearsal, but Alex coordinated everything so seamlessly that you would have never known we didn’t have one. He made sure everyone knew where they needed to be, what to expect, and helped everything flow smoothly on the day of our wedding. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to all of our requests truly made a difference.
Alex went above and beyond to make sure our ceremony was exactly what we envisioned, and we’re so grateful to have had him be such an important part of our special day.
If we could choose our officiant a hundred times over, we would choose Alex every single time. We can’t recommend him enough! Thank you, Alex, for helping make our wedding day so memorable!
June 7 wedding - amanda was the best!
On our wedding day, she delivered a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony that felt personal, warm, and authentic. Her calm presence helped us feel at ease, and so many of our guests commented on how meaningful the ceremony was.
One thing that was especially important to us was finding someone who could connect with both sides of our family. Amanda is a native English speaker and also speaks Spanish, which made her a fantastic choice for our bilingual wedding. She was able to communicate effortlessly with everyone and made all of our guests feel included.
We’re so grateful we chose Amanda to be part of our wedding and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any couple looking for an officiant who is professional, compassionate, and truly invested in making your ceremony special.
