Founder Liz Norment and the HLWT team offer a number of essential wedding services. She provides a full-service officiant package, aimed at wedding parties of 50 guests and more, and a "mini-mony" package, for more intimate events. The Have Lover, Will Travel team can also officiate elopements, vow renewals, and destination weddings.
As an IATA-certified travel advisor, Liz creates custom honeymoons that reflect your adventurous love story. The process starts by getting to know who you are as travelers, exploring destinations, and finally putting the pieces together that allow you to explore the world while discovering more about each other

One of the best in the business
Liz was truly exceptional to work with prior to and on the day of our wedding. Her professionalism and her approach to understanding our love story was thorough and during the day of our event is really showed - with our friends and family showing true investment in our relationship and being hooked on every word that Liz had spoken prior to our vows. It’s not easy to capture different perspectives in a relationship but Liz knew how to do so in a beautiful and patient way that allowed for folks of all different backgrounds and ethnicities to truly appreciate every aspect of our journey together. I would highly recommend Liz for any engagements moving forward as she is truly one of the best in her line of work, and you should not hesitate to work with her for your special day.

Liz's Storytelling Talent is a Rare Gift
Liz was the best to work with. She captured our personalities and love story so well in our ceremony. Our entire process with her was so wonderful and collaborative. Liz knew exactly what to ask to evoke our input into the story and made sure both of our voices were highlighted throughout. We so appreciated her insightful questions and back and forth as we finalized our ceremony from draft to final. On the day of, she seamlessly helped the ceremony run smoothly. Liz’s ability to write and share a story is truly a gift. Every couple deserves Liz to tell their story.

Incredible Wedding Officiant!
Hiring Liz for as wedding officiant was a no-brainer – from the initial call, we loved her calm energy and love for capturing a couple’s story through intentional conversations and beautiful writing. We were not disappointed – she created a beautiful ceremony for us, and we got so many compliments from friends and family on how our love story was shared throughout the ceremony!
Throughout our wedding planning process, Liz sent us each lists of questions to fill out about our relationship, family, and preferences for the ceremony, and had multiple phone calls with us to delve deeper into the personality of our relationship. The result was an incredible encapsulation of our love, pulling together a complicated origin story spanning many states/countries and years into a beautifully told narrative. Many of our friends and family knew parts of this story, but so many people told me they loved hearing about our relationship from start to finish and learning new aspects of our time together!
Liz also helped both of us with our vows and helped us make sure the vows complemented one another without ruining the surprise – we both ended up very happy with how our vows turned out, and our friends and family absolutely loved hearing them!
Overall, Liz is a wonderful choice for officiant – we cannot recommend her enough.

Must Hire!
Liz exceeded our expectations in every way! From our first call to connect and learn about her services all the way through the process of crafting our ceremony and vows, we felt entirely supported and comfortable collaborating with her. She crafted a beautiful and truly moving ceremony including the story of our meeting and first date, our growth through the pandemic, and sharing stories about all of our fun and joyful experiences as a couple that was so unique and breathtaking. All of our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful and meaningful the ceremony was and how touched they were to learn about how our love blossomed. What a true gift Liz gave us and our friends and family. Our ceremony was one of the most memorable and touching moments of the wedding day. You will not be disappointed- we cannot recommend her enough!

Best Officiant Ever!!
Liz is a rockstar. She is super warm, down to earth, creative, intuitive, professional, reliable, organized, and everything you could want in an officiant!
We planned our wedding in a short timeframe and Liz kept us on track the whole way. She was super flexible with our needs and built out a custom ceremony that was tailored to our needs She also gave us a timeline that we stuck to and wrote a beautiful ceremony that felt true to us and told our story beautifully, using questions that we answered to help build it out. She even had quotes and readings for us to incorporate into our ceremony.
Liz was extremely organized throughout the whole process. We had several calls in the months leading up to our wedding in which she got to know us, went over our vows/script/what we wanted to include, went over any feedback and even helped us build out a timeline for our whole day. She went above and beyond.
