I am photographer myself so when selecting someone to do our wedding I was very particular about what I was looking for. When I seen Rob's work on his web page we actually changed the date to suit his availability. My wife trusted my judgment and was not disappointed.
So what makes Rob different from the rest? Here are some answers.
He works so hard. He is down on his knees, on a chair, swinging around a tree, he does whatever it takes to capture the moment. He worked like that all day long and stayed to the very last minute of the reception. He also has great technical skill. The lighting was difficult but he nailed the atmosphere. He shot a huge number of photos and he did this without anyone really noticing he was present - a great skill.
But here is the best part. My sister reviewed the proof photos. She laughed, shouted, arhhed and cried. Rob captured the moments so perfectly stirring all the emotions - this is what great photography is all about. A+++ to Rob!!

Photography was a big deal for us and we love Rob. He is super nice and laid-back and professional. I booked him almost a year in advance and he stayed in touch by email and we had a final meeting a few weeks before the wedding. The day of, Rob was great. He was totally unobtrusive, yet I feel he really captured the day - not just the sights but the feelings. The photos are beautiful.
He posted our teasers less than a week after our wedding , while we were still on our honeymoon and posted our proofs less than 3 weeks after our wedding! Now we are just trying to narrow down our favorites list from the over 1200 photos.

Our photographer was phenomenal! He did not miss a detail! His before, during, and after photos of our wedding ceremony are exquisite. His arrival to our home was punctual. He took pictures every step of the way, from the time I applied my makeup in my sweat suit, until I was leaving for the church with my bridesmaids.
The pictures taken of my husband and I, along with our bridal party before our guests arrived for the reception are just priceless. He worked very hard to get just the right shots all day, and throughout the evening of the reception. His photography is both unique and dramatic. At the same time though, Mr. Barcroft adds a personal and elegant touch to his photography. It's quite obvious that he loves his work! We could not be more pleased having chosen RHB Photography to capture the special moments of our wedding day!

Rob was amazing! He took the most beautiful pictures, he is very professional, and he is so nice. He took tons of pictures of everything, he was always there but did not make it obvious. He is easy to work with, he is very flexible with the schedule. He was actually early in the morning, which was a nice surprise. I would definitely use Rob again and would recommend him to anyone!

Rob was truly one of our favorite people to work with throughout our wedding planning. We immediately knew that he went above and beyond when he offered to come to our home for our first meeting. Since that time, he has always been very responsive, patient, and helpful any time we have a question. He was a pleasure to spend time with on our wedding day, and our pictures are a reflection of that. He works so hard to capture beautiful shots. Our families and friends were also very impressed with how friendly, unobtrusive, and hardworking he was. The pictures are absolutely beautiful, and we had all of the proofs in less than two weeks! The quality of Rob's work is superb, and his kindness, responsiveness, and turnaround time are also exceptional.

My husband and I believe the one of the best decisions that we made was to hire Rob Barcroft as our photographer. His work is wonderful, his service is outstanding and he is truly a kind, gentle soul...which makes working before, during and after the wedding, so easy and fun. Our wedding proofs were back in less than three weeks! And we had a first draft of our album in two weeks! If you can book him, get him for your wedding. You will not regret it for a second.

I wish he could just hang around me all day, everyday taking pictures. It would make my life look so much more interesting. He is an amazing guy. He showed up 30 min early and left 30 minutes late. The pictures of my wedding are so important to me, and I would not have trusted anyone else. He shows up with three cameras around his neck and a utility belt filled with flash caps/cans and batteries. His utility belt even came in handy for holding my bouquet when the bees started hanging around (so that I didn’t have to hold it).He brings his ladder everywhere he goes and will risk injury to get a good shot.
He also had a second photographer with him, Bonnie. She was fabulous also. It seemed like neither one of them was there, and they were both there for 13 hours (each).
He also did our e-pics and they were amazing too. I would really recommend doing these because they gave us a chance to get to know Rob.By the time the wedding rolled around, Rob was like a good friend hanging around with a camera. It also gave us a chance to see what we should or shouldn’t do in the wedding photos. He was one of two photographers we met with and the minute we met with him, we knew we wanted to hire him within 2 minutes of our meeting. We never looked back and never regretted this decision for one second.

Rob's service was fabulous. His attention to detail was perfect for what we wanted. Our experience with him for our engagement photos (which were included) only made us more confident. The day of, we felt like our photos were in good hands. I can't wait to see the proofs as I am confident they will be fabulous.

We decided that this was one of the most important decisions for our wedding. When we first met with Rob, he came to us, was so nice and we could immediately feel how passionate he is about photography. We had a major expense right after we booked him, but he reserved our date anyway and trusted that we would send our first payment when we could. We had to book and cancel our engagement session on short notice twice, but he never led on that he was annoying or inconvenienced. When we finally met up, Rob arrived early to scope out our location. Everything outside was dead, but Rob found so many great backgrounds. Every single picture was artistic and amazing. At the wedding, I had so many guests compliment Rob. It was a 12-hour day, but he remained polite, patient & did anything to get a great shot. We recently saw our pictures and I'm so impressed...He captured EVERYTHING. I'm so glad, he really knows his job and does it with a smile on his face.
