Most people would be surprised to use Publix as their bakery for their wedding. However, with a destination wedding and very few, budget-friendly vendors around I had found that Publix exceeded all expectations.
They did a wonderful job on our cupcakes and all 3 of our cakes. They were very accommodating and did a fantastic job!
I will definitely use them in the future for birthday cakes, etc.

We ordered our cake about a week before the wedding. We were trying to do a low budget cake but still taste like a designer cake. Publix was perfect. They delivered about 30 minutes south of their location and the cake was perfect of what we wanted. They allowed us to bring in ribbon to line the cake with to make it what we wanted.

You can't go wrong with a Publix cake and not being from Key Largo I didn't want to test my luck by going with a local baker. This Publix helped me pick my cake via photos I sent to them and a couple of phone calls. The cake turned out perfect. It tasted awesome. I wish I would've gotten more of the raspberry filled layer, it was so good (not to say the key lime filled layer wasn't). Glad we went with them, and they delivered too, which is awesome.

I picked out our wedding cake over the phone and it turned out great. We had a 2 layer yellow cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. It not only looked beautiful, it also tasted amazing. We had a small wedding and ordered a pretty small cake. We decided to pick it up instead of having it delivered because delivery would have cost half of what the cake cost. The only issue was that they put the stacker on the bottom layer and then it didn't fit into a box and someone had to sit in the backseat with it to make sure it didn't tip over. Other than that small issue, the end result was perfect. I would recommend Publix to anyone looking for a great tasting, cost effective wedding cake.

Cindy was awesome!! I couldn't see spending 1000 on wedding flowers as another vendor in the area quoted me. Cindy made beautiful boquets for me and my maid of honor, corsages for the men and parents. They were all beautiful. I was able to pick an accent color, but not necessarily the flowers. Cindy was so kind and helpful! She called me a couple days before the wedding to go over what flowers she had available. I missed this phone call, but at least she cared to have me involved. It worked out perfectly and was very cost effective. We saved a bundle on wedding flowers. For the centerpieces we floated gerbera daisies in vases and Cindy put aside all the daisies she had for me. Cindy's the best!!

I had searced for a bakery in ISlamorada and when I received other quotes, I could reason spending over $1000 for a cake! I had heard Publix is great for wedding cakes. They not only created the cake of my dreams but were signifigantly cheaper and the customer service was exceptional! I highly reccomend using Publix for your wedding bakery needs!

I ordered the white cake with dulce de leche filling and buttercream icing...great cake and great value! They couldn't have been easier to work with!
