We had Key Largo Chocolates cater dessert (frozen chocolate dipped key lime pies on a stick) for our June wedding in the Florida Keys, and our guests are still raving about the fun, refreshing, and novel twist for a “wedding cake” months later! Working with Key Largo Chocolates was a breeze. I was able to pay by phone as I was planning from out-of-state, and they showed up the day of our wedding with a plug-in cooler cart full of key lime pies on a stick that guests could grab-and-go as they pleased throughout the night. This took so much weight off of our shoulders in not having to stress about designing, delivering, and serving a wedding cake that guests may or may not even like, and it was honestly all guests could ever ask for to have a refreshing frozen dessert to cool them off on a hot summer evening! I used Key Largo Chocolates for my wedding cupcakes for our venue at Postcard Inn in Islamorada. I absolutely love this family run chocolate shop! Kristie, the owner and chocolate expert, was extremely helpful, informative and knew exactly what my vision was for our assortment of cupcakes and flavors in vanilla, key lime and coconut. We literally did our research by visiting every possible chocolate shop and bakery located from Miami Beach down to Marathon Key near Key West. Key Largo chocolates was, by far, the best cupcakes we have ever tasted and their prices were the most affordable as well, including the delivery. Our wedding guests could not keep their hands off of the cupcakes and raved about how delicious and beautiful they were with the sparkling glitter and small chocolate accent shells. We were so happy with our choice and can't wait to go back to visit to enjoy their delicious ice cream and chocolate specialties! Thank you for making our special evening so memorable!
