This was my first Bridal show.. AMAZING! I felt so comfortable and at times it even brought a tear to my eyes. ALL the vendors were amazing! Desert Rock Studio and Trish Gordons Sugar Pine Bakery seriously every single one of those vendors were great! Thank you to Shelley Juneau and all of those that helped her! I think his name was John from Discount Bartending for the event on 9/10/11. John was a great bartender and served our wedding party and all of our guests with a big smile. He was helpful, friendly and attitute free, (unusual with bartenders). John made everyone feel special and welcome and made some awesome drinks, too! Keep this guy around.

We could not have been happier with the Marina Resort as our wedding location. The setting was beautiful and Shelley was very helpful. Little Green House provided the most beautiful flowers, Nicol Davis was an awesome photographer, and Sugar Pine Bakery made delicious cupcakes! All our guests loved staying at the Marina!

our wedding coordinator, shelley, was very responsive, polite, and on top of everything. we felt comfortable leading up to the wedding and couldn't have imagined our wedding day going any better. the scenery and facility were a perfect background. i would and have already recommended the marina resort to anyone interested in getting married. thanks again to everyone, especially shelley and ryan, for making our wedding day so awesome... my wife and i totally appreciate it!

I would definitely recommend marina resort for every bride that loves big bear and would be considering it a wedding destination. They are right on the beautiful lake and their white tent is so spacious and heated if you consider a winter wedding like I did, it was sooo warm when it was freezing outside, but it was absolutely lovely all around. I found Shelley and Ryan to be truly more than helpful, they made sure my day went perfectly and I couldn't have been more thankful to them. I don't think I could have gotten such a beautiful wedding anywhere else for the amazing cost effective package for what I got with marina resort.

My husband and I had an amazing and beautiful experience at the Marina Resort! Shelley and Ryan, the wedding coordinators, were BEYOND accommodating. Our wedding was so beautiful, and even though the scenery on the lake speaks for itself, it was just such a perfect day. The staff that the resort works with i.e. caterers, dj, cake baker, and florist were above and beyond my expectations. I really can't say enough about this place! If you go on their website, the site looks exactly like the pictures in real life! Everyone who attended the wedding stayed at the resort also, and thought it was just great. If I could work with Shelley again, I would do it in a heartbeat. The poor thing is such a professional that at 9 months pregnant on my wedding day, she was handling things and running around like she didn't have a basketball belly! Really, overall, they were just great!

Our wedding at the marina resort was amazing! The view of the mountains and lake behind us was beautiful, our pictures couldnt have looked more amazing! The date was Sept 18 2010, and i couldnt ask for a more beautiful day. Shelly Juneau, the wedding cordinator, did such a great job. She was always there to answer any questions i had and always got back to me very promptly, and along with that very nice and polite. The day of the wedding she helped out so much, setting everything up, and through the whole reception made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Thank you sooo much for making our wedding day perfect!

The Marina Resort and the wedding coordinator Shelley were wonderful! This venue is gorgeous and the tent is a perfect place for a reception. Not only that the resort is beautiful and the views are gorgeous. We did our wedding in the beginning of October and it was perfect (but it does rain so have a backup plan if you do the ceremony outside by the lake like we did.) The package that the Marina offers is awesome, the food was great, the DJ was AWESOME!!.

There is also tons to do in Big Bear as you are right next to the Village, restaurants and the lake. And there are bunch of other lodging options so people reserve a space that fits there budget. I got a ton of compliments from all my wedding guests.

This is an excellent venue for the cost. We chose to have Nottingham's cater, and Sugar Pine Bake Shop (Trish Gordon) as our baker. Both the food and cake/cupcakes were exceptional.
I only gave four out of five for the Responsiveness because Shelley Juneau and Ryan were both VERY good about returning any correspondence (phone messages and email), but the individuals at the front desk are not very accommodating for your guests.
So, I HIGHLY recommend this wedding venue! I wouldn't change a thing if I was able to do it again.

My guests raved about the site and tent at the Marina Resort. The rooms and setting are magical and allowed most of our guests to stay on site, relax and bring their families for a true vacation over our wedding weekend.

The backdrop of the mountains, lake, trees and greenery is stunning and enhanced all of our wedding photography making it an elegant place to be seen in your wedding dress.
