I originally had booked a different planner for my wedding but ended up working with Alyssa when my planner told me she was pregnant..and due 2 days before my wedding. This announcement wasn’t made until 2 months before my wedding so the pressure and stress was on. Alyssa wasn’t even brought in til 2 weeks before my wedding. Despite the last minute fumbling of the original planner Alyssa handled the situation AMAZINGLY!! She was very responsive when we were wrapping up the little details and even managed to put up with my lil attitude I’d acquired from the frustrating situation haha. The day of she was on top of everything and I didn’t have a single thing to worry about. From grabbing people for pictures, keeping us on track with the timeline, carrying my train on my veil for the ceremony, making sure we didn’t forget our cake after the wedding, setting up all of our decor and helping us pack it up/load it into the car, and even doing my hair for me when I wanted to put it up. This planner is worth every penny because you truly can’t put a price on peace of mind and having a less stressful planning experience.

Alyssa and her team at Salt & Pine were truly a godsend during my wedding season. I got married in July 2025 and had the privilege of working with them for over a year. From the very beginning, I felt confident in choosing S&P. Their pricing was fair, they respected my budget, and I never once felt pressured to overspend or add things I didn’t want.

Alyssa, the owner, brought incredible vendor recommendations and kept me on track with detailed checklists and timelines. As a first-time bride, there were so many things I didn’t even know I needed to do. Alyssa caught them all and guided me every step of the way. Their advice even saved me money and time, like when they helped me streamline my wedding invitations.

My wedding was bilingual and included both a live band and DJ with dancers, which could have been overwhelming, but S&P created a seamless timeline that kept everything flowing perfectly. They were always quick to respond to my texts and calls, and I never once worried about being left in the dark. They also handled all the behind-the-scenes details, like collecting vendor insurance and reminding me of small but important things such as printing my vows.

Alyssa was the biggest help for my wedding!! She went above and beyond to cover every small detail for me and fixed issues before I even knew about them. All of the vendors worked more seamlessly together because she communicated with them and kept us on schedule. I felt so much more peace on my day knowing she was coordinating the timeline and decor. I hired Alyssa as a day of wedding coordinator, and I got so much more! She was available for just about any question I had, from place cards and table seating arrangements to food ideas, she was responsive and open!

But, I really valued her when I had to change my wedding venue in THREE days due to mudslides. She was absolutely integral in finding and procuring a new venue, and really did much more than our contract detailed - such as contacting venues for me and getting rates, figuring out what I would or wouldn't need at the new venue, among other things. She really didn't have to, but she totally did. She is the kinda gal you need in an emergency!

Day of, she helped set up and even smoothed over a few minor dramas (like not having champagne for the toast!). I highly recommend her work, especially if you are getting married in big bear!

I am the mother of the bride and Alyssa was amazing from our first point of contact. I gave her our budget and she worked very well to stay within that. She was quick with replying to emails or texts.

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Alyssa Colvin as our coordinator for our 2024 wedding, and we can't recommend her enough! From start to finish, Alyssa was an absolute dream to work with—she brought so much professionalism, creativity, and calm to the entire process, and we are forever grateful. Upon our first meeting I told Alyssa I had not yet found a florist, and she let me know she does florals as well. I was thrilled with her floral proposal and going with her was so much more affordable and easier, one less vendor to worry about! I had a hard time deciding what I wanted for the florals and she spent a lot of time going back and forth with me to create something I loved. My bouquet was seriously INSANE and so many people told me it was the best bouquet they had ever seen, and frankly, I agree!! I would recommend Alyssa for all her services for so many reasons.

My son’s wedding took place 09/26/24 at Europa Villages Resort , Vienza. I planned and hired all the vendors locally as the couple lives in upstate New York. Alyssa was my day of the Wedding Coordinator highly recommended by the venue and she was a lifesaver. She was delightful to speak with and extremely supportive and knowledgeable of the process. Alyssa was always available to answer all my questions and provide me with options to make the day as smooth as possible for the bride and groom and myself. Even though she was not feeling well at rehearsal and wedding day she gave it all her best and completed all her tasks with a smile on her face and made sure timelines stayed on target as much as possible. Alyssa’s guidance, professionalism and support were integral to a successful wedding and my ability to relax and enjoy this special family event fully. Highly recommend Alyssa as she is an outstanding asset in taking away the stress that comes with planning a wedding big or small. Very grateful to have found Alyssa and be able to relinquish all my control in decision making the day of the wedding.

So glad we decided to hire Alyssa for our day of coordinator! While I had most of the plans squared away I wanted someone that I knew I could trust to take over the little details and bring the day together so I could relax and enjoy my day. Alyssa is the best! We hired her as a day-of-coordinator and she was extremely communicative, supportive and had great advice in the months leading up to our big day. Our wedding day went SO smoothly and that's thanks to Alyssa! There were so many little details that she handled behind the scenes when we were getting ready and throughout the day. I had a few DIY items and some decor that she helped set up and everything looked perfect! Our family and friends all let us know how helpful she was with their questions on the wedding day as well.
