I'm so happy to have Amanda as our planner and we honestly had zero stress on our wedding day, allowing us just to enjoy and have fun with our friends and family. Living in Canada, I needed a wedding planner in the Palm Springs area to be close to my venue and vendors and, of course, be my go-to since I was in another country, and she did not disappoint. Amanda was so easy to work with; extremely responsive, flexible to coordinate calls with my busy schedule, very organized and totally understanding of my questions and needs (especially with helping me, or actually just taking over, in my challenging communication with my venue). I felt the same ease and connection with her that we'd had over the phone when we finally met at our rehearsal. During our rehearsal, Amanda was great with my family and bridal party and especially with me when I changed my processional side 3 times and we had to practice several times in the hot Palm Springs sun because of it. She was still kind and patient and was happy with whatever I wanted to do (can't say the same for our bridal party, haha!). On our wedding day, Amanda was there to greet us at our venue and the set up and decor looked exactly as I envisioned. Although I knew she was running around, taking care of everything, she always seemed to be my side whenever I needed her or to let us know what we were about to do next. I really was able to just rely on her for everything and had no idea of the time or of any issues, if there even was any. Everything I needed, she was on it! My parents and my guests commented to me on how impressed with Amanda they were, especially with her professionalism and kindness. I really had a smooth experience working with Amanda in the planning process and we had an amazing and no-stress wedding day (best day ever!). I know none if it could've happened this way without her help and guidance. Thank you Amanda and ALove Story Events!!!

Amanda was such a blessing throughout our entire wedding planning process. She was always available when I needed her, incredibly flexible, and genuinely so sweet and attentive. I felt supported like a friend every step of the way, especially planning the wedding from several states away! She listened, offered great ideas, and made everything feel easy, even on the days when I was stressed. I’m so grateful for all the time and care she put into our day. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better planner, and I’m thankful for her help in making our wedding so beautiful.

Like many couples trying to save a buck, me and my wife decided to coordinate the wedding ourselves early in the process. However, when we were a month out from our wedding day we realized that we were in WAY over our heads and needed help ASAP. We messaged Amanda and not only did she set up a phone interview within an hour, she answered all of me and my wife's questions in detail and whenever we had a follow up by text or by call. We hired her right away and she got to work within a day, emailing all of our vendors and setting up back channel communication with them so that we were not bothered by details that we did not need.

On the week of the wedding, she took on the daunting task of basically decorating our wedding for us, since we were stuck on ideas and having trouble finding items that would fit our vision. When we told her what vibe we wanted, she said "I'm thinking you guys are looking for a sort of 'Desert Disco' theme'" and we yelled "YES!!!" She then bought so many flowers, cacti, disco balls, and decorations to make our centerpieces shine.

Amanda also showed up to our rehearsal for no extra charge and was EXCELLENT at communicating with and families and friends. She stayed for hours longer than she needed to set up our reception hall and her assistant offered to help me and my friends hang string lights.

On the day of the wedding, she was incredibly professional and quick to answer any questions and solve any problems. She was understanding about our requests with sensitive family members and she handled any bumps in the road with aplomb and care. I literally do not know what we would have done without her.

Also, she was an incredible value. Many other day-of coordinators were quoting us double what Amanda quoted. Amanda was worth every penny and more and NEVER felt like we were getting discount service or anything like that. She is so clearly a natural at this and is meant to be a wedding planner and coordinator. We would recommend her to anyone.

I cannot even put into words how grateful I am for Amanda, she truly saved my wedding!! She went above and beyond anything I could have ever expected! I would not have been able to get to my wedding day without her.
After a few turnovers with management at my venue and back and forth with my packaging, going months without communication, as I work full time along with being a mother, The stress of the wedding planning was getting to me I was ready to cancel the venue and find a new one I had enough. I decided to find a coordinator outside of the provided one from the venue and I am so thankful and blessed that I found Amanda with Alove story events. After my first phone call with her I knew I needed to hire her. Not only did she have experience working with this venue, but she was ready to fight for everything I was promised in that contract and was on my side the entire time. She was more than just a coordinator. She would constantly check on me to make sure everything was going good on my end of wedding details I had to do and answered everything and anything I asked.
The day of the wedding Amanda was AMAZING she went above and beyond anything I could imagine! If something went wrong, I wouldn’t have even known because she’s that good! She worked great with my other vendors, brought my entire vision together. It turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined. She made my wedding day/night even more amazing than it was. She truly saved my wedding day. I had a family emergency that morning, and if it wasn’t for Amanda running everything at my venue the day of, I would have been a mess.
 You can tell she really loves her job and cares for her couples. We are incredibly grateful for everything Amanda did. Without her my wedding wouldn’t have been as magical as it was, I will truly miss working with her! She really is the sweetest and best coordinator any bride could ask for.

Amanda is a true gem of a person and wedding planner/coordinator. She exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Amanda poured her heart into ensuring our wedding was true to our vision and as seamless as possible. She is a true professional.

I cannot stress enough how amazing Amanda was!!! She went above and beyond our wildest dreams. Seriously, we could not have gotten through this without her.

To start, we had an unfortunate experience with our wedding venue. We opted for what was at the time the venue’s most inclusive and expensive package because my husband and I are both working professionals with demanding careers. So we didn’t have a lot of free time to research and contract with multiple outside vendors. While we were pretty happy with our choice at the time we signed our contract, the wedding venue services unfortunately underwent a series of changes in management and coordinators shortly thereafter.

We relied on the venue to coordinate the vendors and services we purchased as part of our contract. Apparently, that was a huge mistake. Several months passed from the signing of the contract until about three months prior to the wedding, and basically none of the services and vendors we purchased as part of our package had been coordinated by the venue. We had not been assigned a photographer, we had not been given the bakery information for our cake, we had not been scheduled to come in for our food tasting, etc. The venue coordinators and events director at the time completely dropped the ball on any communication with us.

Obviously, at this point, we start FREAKING OUT. We quickly began searching online for wedding coordinators. We reached out and spoke to several. Finally, we landed on Amanda’s website and reached out.

Not only did she have extensive experience with the venue (Glen Ivy Golf Club in Corona, CA), but she was ready to go to bat for us. I can’t describe the relief we felt getting off that first phone call with her. I cried. Our wedding venue had let us down so exceptionally, but we just knew that in Amanda we had found a true advocate – someone who absolutely loves her job and her clients.

Cue the next three months, and while yes they were stressful, Amanda stepped up week after week after week. I seriously don’t think we could have done this without her. She took over vendor communication, meal options, floorplan layouts, wedding signage, EVERYTHING. She was also extremely proactive in reaching out to the wedding venue and ensuring that our needs were no longer falling by the wayside, and that we were actually receiving the services we were paying for.

Amanda was an absolute rockstar the week of our wedding. She coordinated the rehearsal and ensured it was as seamless as possible. She took care of the last minute details (and there were a lot of them that still needed to be hashed out). She reached out to us basically every single day in the last week and a half to ensure we were all on the same page so that everything could go according to our vision. Heck, when the wedding venue refused to allot us the necessary time for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the bridal/bridesmaids suite, Amanda took it upon herself to book us TWO NIGHTS at a nearby hotel so that we would have space for hair/makeup & photography/videography. I was so grateful and touched by this.

The day of our wedding, Amanda showed up to WORK. We had opted for DIY flowers and decorations, but honestly didn’t realize how little time the wedding venue allotted us to set up decor. I’m not sure how the hell Amanda even pulled it off, but once I showed up to the venue, I was amazed at how beautiful she had arranged everything. Everything was according to our vision. Obviously, during the wedding, we were so engulfed in everything that I can’t tell you the specifics of every little thing she did to make the wedding as seamless as possible, but I can appreciate that she did SOOO MUCH that day/evening. She shielded us from any problems that arose so that we could focus on simply enjoying our day.

In short, we are incredibly grateful for what Amanda did for us. She went above and beyond and we have no doubt that our day wouldn't have been as magical and special had it not been for the endless time and care that Amanda put into our event. She is truly a one of a kind coordinator.

Originally, we weren’t going to have a day of coordinator, but I am so glad we decided to and we were lucky enough to find Amanda. She worked with us leading up to the day of the wedding, and put all of our worries and nerves to rest because of how detail oriented, professional, calm, reassuring, and thoughtful she was throughout the whole process. Our family, and even some guests noticed how much she was moving around and doing to make sure everything ran smoothly.

I would recommend her to my closest friends and family because of how amazing she was to work with. I can’t say enough, good things about her But to sum it up, she made our dream wedding come to life!
