My daughter and I hired Donna and booked the "dont lift a finger" package 1/2010. We figured with her wedding being a destination that this would be helpful. The wedding was this past Saturday and the list of problems is long and upsetting. I first started getting concerned about her abilites to plan my daughter's wedding when she would not show up or be at her shop for scheduled appts. Keep in mind that we would drive from Abq,NM to Durango for these meetings, well over 3 1/2 hours away. It would take 2-3 phone calls to get her to return calls and there were always real good excuses as to why she either wasnt available or able to return the calls. Wedding day finally rolls around and, the reception wasnt decorated to our instructions, the ceremony site wasnt decorated at all, the DJ forgot the music list, the cake fell in transit, the cocktail hour was only 30 min, because of the DJ not having the music the whole timeline was pushed together. She made un professonal comments about the bridesmaids, she was supposed to make sure that the recepeption left over items, keepsakes, etc were to be delivered back to the Bride and Groom and there was a case of wine, and several bottles of liquor missing. When asked what happened, her husband accused the Bridal party of stealing them, then he made the bride so upset she drove all the way back to Abq crying. Please understand that I gave her every opportunity to redeem herself hoping that when the wedding date happened that her and her staff would make up for the unprofessionalism thru the planning process. I should have fired her shop many months ago when the problems first began. She took our money and promised to make my daughters day special, we can NEVER get back her day. Please do not use her services! You will be forever regretful for this mistake as we are.
