They were very polite, helpful, and professional. They did a great job at recording everything and made it very easy in making it a memorable night. They gave suggestions and were friendly to everyone. We loved the recording and would recommend them to anyone.

TK was great! Energetic but didn't steal the show. He provided everything we needed and his team always followed up in a timely manner. He kept the flow of the night well. Probably could use more selection of songs, but I could have helped with providing more songs as well. Very organized. A sweetheart. Overall a great experience.

Lorie, everyone loved how thorough you were with pictures and Tim made sure the music never missed a beat. He made sure my night was perfect. Zandro was the best videographer we had ever seen. The best part about your company was that they were willing to work with us through every step of the wedding plans and were so friendly and easy to work with. We had the best night of our life and it was all thanks to you. You are hands down the best in the business and we highly receommend you to all and we can't wait until the next time we can call you to work for us again!!! We had an opportunity to meet three times with Energy Event and create a vision of our wedding ceremony complete with a back up plan and reception agenda before the event. We were given the opportunity to choose music we liked and only play music we love! We were at first surprised at how much work we put into picking out our own music, however, the end result was fabulous! In the moments we wanted to be surprised with music he choose, we were impressed! We were guided with direction and expertise and yet had a very distinct wedding celebration that everyone who attended said that this is the personality and feel of Matt and Shannon. The effort made for an unforgettable event!

We laughed and cried when our video arrived. It took maybe 30 seconds and I was in tears. Our moments with all of our family and friends were captured...and the details we missed...and my dress I didn't want to ever take off... The video was edited to music and came with pictures of our event on both cd's and video cover.

TK was our MC and now I understand he also does wedding planning. He had a great sense of humor and kept the guests on their feet participating in the event or dancing! He also did our slide show! Everyone was surprised and cheering at moments we had growing up to where we are today, together and in love... My father was taken back and so greatful...!

We were able to keep our first dance a total surprise to everyone with TK and oh by the way....our whole day was our back up plan! We moved a beach ceremony to indoors and TK moved all sound equipment and set up smoothly and without missing a beat or detail. I still had an isle to walk down, a beautiful room filled with all the people we love and the most origonal wedding ceremony that touched all our guests hearts!

We recommend using Energy Events highly and that you too follow through with your "homework assignments" to create an origonal wedding event of your very own that is personalized and uniquely yours that everyone will say, " That was the best wedding I have ever been too!" and say that even if it is your back up plan! Our day happened between two perfect sunny days and one of the windiest days in Laguna Beach, CA! However, Nov 9th 2008 was still our perfect day!

The day of the wedding DJ TK did a great job, however, the pre-meetings were a little uncomfortable. I think him and his fiance were fighting and his attitude toward her pushed off on us. Also, during the ceremony they were arguing too. All in all, he did a really great job. He has an online tool to add songs and tag them how you want them played. It's a really neat tool to utilize.

The planning phase was great with Energy. They really seemed to understand what we needed and worked to create a timeline and play list that would be suitable. They have a really cool feature on their website that allows you to create a must-play list for your DJ. However, their coordinator lost our signed contract (which I, fortunately, kept a copy of) and was about to charge us more for a service we booked 6 months in advance.

However, very few, if any, of our must-play list was actually used at our reception. TK did a superb job emceeing the event and accommodated changes to the timeline, but I was disappointed that he didn't stick to our must-play list, especially since my husband and I spent a substantial amount of time creating it. Despite us asking him on our initial worksheet not to take requests from anyone but us, he began playing songs like "Baby Got Back" and other hip hop at the request of guests, which is really not us. Music is a big deal to us as it's my husband's chosen profession.

He also introduced mispronounced my mother-in-law's name during the grand entrance. He claimed he hadn't had time to practice (since she didn't actually do the Grand Entrance, but was announced at her table); however, he had received the list two weeks prior to the event (and her name isn't at all difficult to pronounce).

In the end, Energy was a good deal for the price, but I would have spent more time adding songs to my "Do Not Play" list. To me, it was obvious (based on our "Do Not Play" list) that we didn't want pop or hip hop - to him, we didn't expressly prohibit songs like "Baby Got Back".
