I had a great experience with David's Bridal. I found a beautiful dress at a great price! They had a large selection for me and my bridesmaids. They had the exact color I was looking for.

I was very pleased by the service at the Davids Bridal location in Durham. I went three times before i finally decided on my dress and i couldnt have been happier. It was amazing and really made the night special. I really want to say thanks to a sales accociate named Ali G. She was the easiest person to talk to and made me feel comfortable trying on dresses. As a larger woman thats just something were all uncomfortable with but she was the best!!!! Thanks again for everything.

I mean, I had a very nice dress for $239 so I can't complain TOO much, but the big box store employees ACT like what you would expect from a big box store (ie: Walmart...) They are not too nice or attentive, especially in alterations and the sign in desk. The women who help you in the dressing rooms are SLIGHTLY better.

Now you may think it is the price point I was at that made them not care, but no. A month before me, my cousin and I and her 6 other bridesmaids went in there and spent over $2,000 on her gown and our 7 gowns and the service was not any better.

I know 4 people who have been married in the last 18 months and none of us have anything GOOD to say about this store besides they have reasonable prices on their gowns.

I was so happy with David's Bridal. A lot of people told me not to go to David's because they don't make your dress from scratch, it comes from the rack of a store that currently has your size. That means it may have been tried on before, but they had it dry cleaned, steamed, and pressed even before I went in for my first fitting. I did have to be a little pushy with alterations. They seemed to know what I wanted even before I told them and I wasn't real happy with that. I had to have a couple fitting until they got the bust and length correct (I am very petite). My best advice is to be adamant about what you want done to your dress. You need to be comfortable and eventually I ended up with exactly what I wanted.

I really liked the prices that David's Bridal had on their wedding gowns and accessories. Everything is well priced. But, then they hit you at the alterations. I had to drop nearly 300 just for a hem and to move up my modesty panel. It was rather ridiculous. Everyone was really nice and very helpful. They remember the brides. At least at this particular location they do. They were kind, courteous and always willing to help out. My only real complaint is just that the alterations prices are steep. They do a great job, but, someone else could've done the same for cheaper.

The wedding gown I purchased from Davids Bridal was a great quality. The attendant was assisting another bride at the same time as she was assisting me so I did not have her full attention and felt a bit on my own. I had styles in mind from the catalogue that she pulled for me. I am very small in size and the majority of the dresses were a much larger size. When I did decide on a dress, it was supposed to take 3 months to get delivered to my house. It arrived early along with the shoes I ordered. I used them for alterations and they did not do enough when I went back to pick it up. They wanted to charge me for more alterations to fix what they had not done before. Ultimately, they made good and fixed my gown. Although it is a chain store, the quality of the dress was where it needed to be.

I got my dress on sale at DB. I was very pleased with the alterations. They always called to remind me of my appointments. The only downside is that my bridesmaids got their dresses from DB, but had them altered somewhere else. So when they took them back to have them steamed before the wedding, DB wouldn't do it because they hadn't done the alterations. I guess they should have told us that beforehand. Other than that, the service was great!

I love my wedding dress from David's Bridal! The staff was very helpful and listened to what type of dress I was looking for. I am very pleased with my experience there.

Both my dress and my bridesmaids dresses were from David's Bridal. My dress was absolutely beautiful, and they did a good job altering my dress. It needed to be heavily altered but I feel like they charged me through the nose for the alterations.
I like that they're open late on weeknights, and overall I would say it was a positive experience

I found the perfect dress at David's Bridal and thought the the cost was very reasonable. The sales staff were very helpful and professional and I enjoyed working with them. The alterations team at the time were not as helpful and had to re-do my dress several times. I would recommend purchasing a dress there, but not having alterations done there.

David's Bridal in Durham did a great job helping me find my bridal dress in 2009 and my bridesmaids' dresses in 2010. The dresses looked great, and they emailed me promptly when my alterations and other orders came in. Even though I live in Raleigh, it was worth it to drive 30 minutes to Durham to get the good service I received.
