Melanie altered my wedding dress and made it one of a kind! I was having doubt about my dress but once Melanie was through with it, it was everything I could imagine and more! Melanie is incredibly talented and was able to determine what would look good on my body and shape. I would recommend her to anyone!

Melanie is AMAZING. I was given very pricey quotes for my wedding dress alterations from so many different places, but Melanie did a wonderful job for such a decent price. She helped me feel calm and was patient with me with all the changes I wanted made to my dress. She is definitely skilled in her craft and is not only very reputable, but extremely kind and professional. The transformation my dress went through with its details is incredible and she made my dreams come true with my dress. It was absolutely stunning, and I kept hearing how it looked as though it was made for me. Melanie made that possible. The dress looked made for me because she made it so. I couldn't be happier and I plan to use her for any alterations I need in the future. HIGHLY recommend!

I got married on Friday, May 13, 2016 and a few weeks before my big day I met with Melanie and she created a bustle for my wedding dress. Melanie did a great job and provided me with professional and courteous service. She made me feel very comfortable and making an appointment with her was very easy. I really hate writing bad reviews, but there were just too many things that went wrong with my dress on my wedding day. Melanie is very nice and accommodating. She was quick and didn't take long to complete all the work for my dress. She even made me a bolero jacket. Unfortunately, the jacket wasn't very snug and we had to pin it the day of because it wouldn't stay in place and the photographer had to adjust it before every picture. We replaced the back zipper with a lace up. The lace up broke as I was getting ready on my wedding day and is noticeable in many of my pictures. I paid to have my dress bustled. The bustle lasted about 30 minutes before it ripped out while dancing. My bill was $25-50 more than what I was quoted AND I supplied all the fabric which was ultimately used in my dress. In my email correspondence prior to meeting, Melanie would only half answer my questions so I guess I shouldn't be surprised by what ultimately happened. Unfortunately, I really wish I had gone with someone else for my big day.
