I found most of my vendors on wedding wire and I am so glad that I did. Lindsey was absolutely amazing and I HIGHLY recommend her for any makeup occasion.
I first sent her an email after looking through her pictures and reading her reviews on here. She responded immediately and we set up our dates for the trial and the wedding.
In between the early correspondance and the trial I had asked her if she knew someone who could do hair and she recommended another fabulous vendor who I'd already researched on wedding wire.
At the trial she came to my house, was a hit with the family, helped ease my mom's fears (very difficult to do), and talked with my sisters about their future look for the wedding as well. She was very detailed and explained everything to me and my family who were eagerly eavesdropping. We took pictures and analyzed the look taking all aspects of myself and the day into account (bridesmaids, time of day, my style, my comfort level, what I'd imagined). She then also gave me the number of a phenomenal baker who I used and loved!
Lindsey already had helped so much with the wedding and the day wasn't even upon us! She gave me herself, my hair stylist, and the baker!
The day of she and the hair stylist arrived right on time and immediately began working their magic. They worked together and alotted for time appropriately and made everyone look so beautiful. We had all ages and makeup levels and every one fell in love with their look. She listened to each bridesmaid and she knew just how to do their makeup to keep them comfortable and fully enhance their natural beauty.
My sisters and I are big makeup people, my one sister actually does wedding hair and makeup and she even loved Lindsey's style.
I have already referred people to Lindsey and will definitely give her contact info out to people who ask. Everyone who was there and has seen pictures rave about how beautiful of a job the makeup artist did and have asked for her info!

There is just not enough that I can say about Lindsey. My make up artist ended getting a new job and had to cancel on me right before the wedding. Needless to say, I was a little stressed out! I randomly found Bella B searching the internet for a new artist, and I couldn't have been more lucky.
Lindsey went out of her way to fit me into her already busy schedule because she knew what a bind I was in. When she came over for the trial, she asked me questions and helped me figure out the exact look I was going for, and then she expertly executed it. My make up was flawless, and she was able to take away so much stress. On top of everything, she stayed and did my mothers make up for the ceremony also. I just could not recommend her enough!
I am absolutely thrilled with my decision to secure Bella B to provide make-up for the entire bridal party (including mother-of-bride and mother-of-groom) for my recent wedding. All of these ladies--from those who wear makeup regularly to those who shy away from it--simply loved their looks! Lindsey took the time to listen to each woman's concerns and devise a personalized look that would flatter each person's features.
I must also point out that when one bridesmaid was having a wardrobe issues (she's pregnant and was in need of a bra-strap extender), Lindsey jumped right in, volunteered her creativity, and she (along with the matron of honor) had fixed the bridesmaid's dilemma in a snap! She's quite handy with tape :-) and is willing to contribute however she can to your day running smoothly.
From her make-up skills to her timeliness, responsiveness, and warmth, she was a joy to have in the room as I prepared for our wedding day. I'm grateful to Lindsey for bringing out the best in me (and each of my special ladies) on my wedding day! We have memories, pictures, and video to attest to her excellent work, and I'm forever grateful.
(And I'm now hiring her for make-up lessons, because I want to look great and feel that confident on an everyday basis!)
Using Bella B as my makeup artist for my wedding was the single best decision I made for our special day. Lindsey is so talented and genuinely kind that she made me feel beautiful before she even started applying my makeup. I opted to have her stay through the reception so that every picture was as perfect as the first. I feel fortunate to have found her and highly recommend her services. You will not be disappointed!!
I was so happy with my make-up on my wedding day! Lindsey did exactly as I asked and made me look natural (per my husband's request) yet flawless (for me :). I was so happy with the look!
In the trial she gave me lots of great tips to correct some dryness under my eyes and to help us all to have better flash photos by tell us which ingredients to avoid in moisturizer and foundation because they wash you out.
The wedding day was lots of fun! Lindsey brought her make-up chair to set everything up at my house. She's really nice and laid back, so she makes everyone feel very comfortable. And she worked her butt off to finish the make-up of all the girls in the allotted time. She even chose to skip lunch even though the scents of Little Azios pizza filled the air :).
Everyone was really happy, even my mom, who was really hesitant to get her make-up done and was extremely picky! I would definitely recommend using Bella B for your wedding day make-up.
Lindsey was far and away my favorite vendor. I felt gorgeous on my day and she made me feel so special! From what I can tell she does a lot of weddings but I felt like I was her only bride not just a number. She was extremely easy to get a hold of and seems to enjoy what she does. Everyone loved how they looked and my photographer thanked her for making his job so easy (whatever that means)! I can’t wait to see my album!
I’m very shy and normally go with out makeup so I was a little apprehensive to hire a professional makeup artist for such an important day. I’m incredibly happy I did and feel so lucky to have found Lindsay! She was so easy to work with, such a great listener and totally zoned in on what I wanted. I loved my makeup and it lasted all day! I’ve never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. I also never received so many compliments in my life! My mom and 6 bridesmaids had their makeup done as well. Everyone was thrilled. When my sister recently got engaged we booked with Bella B right away. We can’t wait to see her again and have her make us up!
Lindsey was fun and a pleasure to work with. I loved my make-up and the bridal party and our moms looked great. My bridesmaids also appreciated that she offered both full and mini-applications (which made it cheaper for some). I also, had some questions and concerns after my inital trial -- she did arrange a second trial for me, and didn't charge the full trial price (instead she charged what she gets for a "mini application"), which was very nice of her.
However, she failed to tell us that a certain chemical in sunscreen (which was in both my mom's moisturizer that she used earlier that morning and in one of my bridesmaid's foundation -- she had a mini application) -- although, she "fixed" everyone -- this caused a fair amount of stress and delays.
Also, I had gotten her "touch-up" package. I knew she wasn't going to stay all evening, but, I thought she would at least stay through pictures (the website says up to 8 hours for touch-ups, which was just for me, -- so, she started me at 12:00 -- I should have been good with time to at least get me though our "enterance" to the reception). I had read earlier reviews from brides stating that they wished she would stayed longer -- so, I thought, well, I will tip her extra well to have her stay longer (I did this about a week and a half before my wedding day). I kinda wish I didn't because it didn't make any difference. Lindsey went to touch me up and I ended up being pulled in one direction by my new husband -- so, I thought, "okay, she thinks I need a touch up (as she was just about to do it), she will do it right after this photo." No, she handed my matron of honor my lipstick and then I saw her walk away. Not even a good-bye.
She did send me an email after I got back from my honeymoon -- where she tried to explain herself saying "she didn't want to stress me out." Well, her leaving before she did that last touch up is what ended up stressing me out -- cause I knew she thought I needed one.
BOTTOM LINE: If I had to do it all over again, yes, I would hire her again -- but, wouldn't pay for touch-ups and I would make sure that I clarified with her what would be okay for everyone to have on their faces (moisturizers, foundation for the mini-applications) that would not be okay for photography.

Based on my records, below is the last timeline sent via email and approved by the bride. *This doesn’t account for one additional bridesmaid who ended up receiving services, which was requested after this timeline went out to the bride.

2:30pm - 3pm: Overflow requests, touchups, etc. 3:25ish: Headed to the church after changing, checking the bride out of the hotel room, and going back into the hotel for the bride’s cell phone charger (in response to a msg from the bride, which I was more than happy to do). It was only about 10 minutes away so after parking I was prob back with the bride around 3:45pm. 5:00pm: After some t/ups, pictures etc. the bride walked down the aisle. 5:55pm: Full mass ended, did t/ups. Pictures started. 6:20pm: Headed to the venue (10 mins away) to wait on bride and groom From there - I did some t/ups while waiting for the wedding party/family to be gathered so pics could start, and then provided t/ups as needed. All in all, it was slightly after 7:30pm when I got back in my car to head home.
Between the 3 separate locations I spent well over the advertised 8 hours with them and was happy to do so(happens all the time, it’s just a guideline). When 95% of the formal photos were done just a few of the couple (alone) were left. By this point we’d done several light touch ups. One was right before this 2nd set of post ceremony pictures. Each time there wasn’t much needed. I didn’t want to ruin the look with adding makeup unnecessarily and she agreed. From the beginning we discussed that my t/up service is like buying insurance. You hope you don’t need it but I’m there if you do! With both families/bridal parties heading inside it was the natural time to apply an extra swipe of lipstick/powder then say goodbye. Before this could be accomplished the bride needed to be pulled away to finish photos before the sun completely set, understandably so. Being that her makeup was already perfect (the last t/up had only been 20- 30 mins prior) I now felt I was just getting in the way. Knowing we had reviewed what to expect of my services at both appointments and judging from the type of t/ups I’d done through out the event, I felt confident Kelly knew I would never leave if I thought she needed something fixed (I said those exact words to her just that morning). So figuring they would soon be rushed into their party I accepted the fact that I probably wasn’t going to be able to say goodbye (at least not without holding them up/adding stress). I already sensed she’d felt pulled in different directions which is no fun. Leaving them to finish up, I went inside to find the BM designated to hold the bride’s lipstick. I explained the situation and how disappointed I was not to be able to say goodbye to the bride. I then found her mom and expressed those same sentiments and to please pass them on. After inviting me to stay and eat (I had to decline, long drive home etc) she thanked me and gave me a warm hug & kiss goodbye. When I read this review and saw Kelly had felt hurt & stressed, I was surprised & disappointed to see her perception of the situation. Weddings go by in a flash. After spending a majority of their big day with them and keeping them looking fabulous, it’s hard to believe when it’s time for me to go. Unfortunately, sometimes a feeling of “I wish you could stay” is left, although I do typically get to say bye.
The SPF situation was also unfortunate. I mention this during all practice sessions so I thought I had. I take full responsibility.

Lindsey was great to work with. I had a trial with her and although my make up looked gorgeous i felt my eye make up was slightly too dark. I emailed Lindsey with regards to this and nothing was too much trouble for her, we chatted about how we could change it to make it more me and she even came slightly earlier on the wedding day so she could do my make up eye by eye so i could see exactly what she was doing and could tell her if i wanted anything changed. I think what set Lindsey apart for me was she had actually thought about me before the wedding and had been going over my make up in her head. I had some individual eye lashes applied at the trial but lindsey thought that with the look i was going for i may prefer the strip eyelashes so brought some with her so i could have the choice, she also brought some different lip gloss than the one we used at the trial as i had mentioned that i felt my lips were too pink, this just proves how professional and thoughtful she is. Everyone commented on how amazing my make up was. Lindsey is fun to work with, great to be around and very chatty which helped to reduce my nerves. I would recommend her to anyone.
Lindsay of Bella was so amazing for my wedding! From the very moment we had my trial run, I knew that I wanted to have her do my make-up for my wedding. She was very knowledgeable about make-up products and answered all my questions completely. I had concerns about my skin and having it look natural, and she exceeded my expectations of what I thought I could look like. All of my bridal party commented on her being so professional and fun, they all looked amazing. And, my mom who's super picky about her make-up---looked so radiant! She loved her make-up and could not have been happier. I have already recommended her to several of my engaged friends, she's awesome!!
I wish she would have stayed through more of the pictures but I felt bad making her stay when she asked if she could go (she prob would have stayed no problem). No big deal though she did a great job!
Lindsey, and Bella B. On Location Bridal Makeup, is my most highly recommended vendor from my wedding! She is so professional, knowledgable, helpful, calm, and most importantly can make anyone look absolutely gorgeous! There is so much to say about her and skills, I would seriously suggest shooting her an email or giving her a call because you will be so glad that you did.
She can handle all types of skin and comes prepared to help you achieve the look you want. She uses professional makeup but isn't tied down to one line of makeup. She really cares about your skin and makeup looking flawless and has been in the industry for years and it shows! She offers a wide range of packages and will work with you to figure out which is best for your type of wedding. Not only was she my makeup artist at my own wedding, she has done my makeup and friend's makeup at other wedding and she is consistent and spot on everytime! She is exactly what your ideal would be for having your makeup done on your wedding day, and she is affordable and accessible. Lindsey was a blast to work with, and did a wonderful job. My mom and our wedding party loved working with her. She made our makeup look natural yet beautiful. She took the time to get to know us and exactly what look we were going for, and she made it happen. Our makeup stayed on and looking good until the very end of the wedding.

I can not say enough good things about Bella B. We had a trial run the week before the wedding with digital photos emailed to my mom and me the next day. She had lots of great questions and photos to look at during the trial run, so we could show her what we were looking for.
The day of the wedding, she was early, calm and was simply WONDERFUL. I do not like photos of myself, but I think I looked beautiful on my wedding day and in my photos. My mom looked great!
We had really considered not doing professional make up for the wedding, but I am now so glad we did and that we did it with Bella B!
