This was a beautiful location and hall. The Elks staff went above and beyond. The wedding coordinator, Kelly, did an amazing job at keeping everything running smoothly and was always available to answer any questions. This venue is HIGHLY recommended.

Getting married aboard the Schooner Thomas E. Lannon was truly the wedding of our dreams. The Gloucester Harbor setting was breathtaking — the sea breeze, the sunset, and the beauty of the boat created an atmosphere that was both romantic and unforgettable. Captain Heath and his crew were absolutely wonderful to work with. They made the entire planning process effortless — communication was clear, every detail was handled professionally, and the day itself went off without a hitch. We were able to just relax and enjoy every moment. Since our wedding, my wife and I have made it a tradition to charter an anniversary sail each year, and every time we’re reminded of how special that first day was. If you’re looking for a unique, intimate, and truly memorable place to say “I do,” I can’t recommend the Schooner Lannon enough. It’s an experience you’ll treasure for a lifetime!

Our wedding reception at the Cruiseport Gloucester was everything we could have dreamed of and more. From the very first day we met our coordinator, Miriam, we knew we were in the best hands. She was incredibly organized, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our vision come to life. Every detail was executed flawlessly, and thanks to her, we truly had the most magical day of our lives. One of the highlights of our wedding was hosting cocktail hour aboard the Beauport Cruiselines boat, and we cannot recommend it enough! It gave our guests a unique and unforgettable experience while taking in the beautiful Gloucester harbor. The service throughout the evening was exceptional. The staff did an amazing job passing hors d'oeuvres and drinks during cocktail hour, so there was never a line at the bar. During dinner, the waitstaff was attentive, professional, and efficient. The food was served promptly, arrived warm, and received countless compliments from our guests. People are still talking about how delicious everything was! If you're looking for a breathtaking waterfront venue with outstanding service, incredible food, and a team that truly goes above and beyond, the Cruiseport is the perfect choice. We are beyond grateful for Miriam and the entire Cruiseport staff for making our wedding day so unforgettable. It was truly the best day of our lives, and it's a day we'll cherish forever.

This venue is absolutely fantastic, we loved it, our guests loved it, if you want a castle wedding, this is the place. We had a fantasy/D&D themed wedding and knew we wanted to get married in a castle (plus we're also in the history/museum field so getting married in a museum fit us). We had the ceremony on the back lawn overlooking the ocean and then had the reception in the great hall (45 guests). Deb (the venue coordinator) is great and seemed to work really well with our wedding planner. Hammond Castle is an active museum, so if you're thinking about using them as a wedding venue you need to go into it with the knowledge that you must be respectful of their operating hours and your allotted time--this is especially important when choosing and coordinating your vendors (particularly when scheduling drop-offs and pickups for equipment). The castle was also constructed in the 1920s and has some steep stairs so if you have elderly guests or people with mobility issues be mindful that they will likely need some assistance getting around.

We held our wedding at Beauport on 5/16/26 and it was the best decision! It is such a gorgeous venue that gives that coastal New England feel without completely breaking the bank. For the price point and everything it included, it was incomparable to everything else we toured and the easiest decision to have our wedding here. Our event coordinator, Mindy, was there with us every step of the way during our planning process and was so attentive and responsive to all of our questions and concerns. She truly made our day so special, and she even took time out of her day to come ask us how married life has been when we visited Beauport again a month later. We still are having guests reach out to a us a month and a half later saying how beautiful the space is, how friendly and helpful the staff was, and how delicious and filling the food was. The staff are truly a well-oiled machine there, and they will take care of so much behind the scenes and ensure your day is perfect. There were a lot of little touches throughout the planning process and weekend of that Mindy and the Beauport team orchestrated that just made it feel so special and so personal, like we were more than just a client to them. The bar staff also got to know us very well over the weekend and were so friendly and good to us and our guests. Our only critique, and we say this lightly as our day was still very overwhelmingly positive, was that when we brought up the restaurant next door as a concern for noise during the ceremony, we were told that someone would go around and ask the restaurant goers to try to keep noise levels down for the ceremony and that the outdoor music would be turned off until after. While we were so engrossed in our ceremony it did not bother us, a few of our guests did comment on the music still playing and it being a bit noisy and disruptive to them hearing the ceremony even though we discussed it a few times during our meetings and our initial tour. We also had a slight interruption during our ceremony due to a walkie talkie being left up front by the altar space. We heard nothing but praise from the guests who stayed in the hotel, with a couple of great notes about the rooftop pool and hot tub, the breakfast at 1606, and the cleanliness. Our room block process was simple and easy and made it easy for all our guests traveling to be in one place. We took the shuttle the next day which was also convenient and a nice touch for guests. We are so happy we chose a place that we can return to for anniversary stays or just a meal with a view. Overall, Beauport is such a special place to host your wedding, and we would 1000% recommend to anyone looking for a New England coastal vibe. Thank you Mindy and staff!

My now husband and I had our wedding after party at the Cut and we had an absolute blast! It was the perfect venue. We were able to bring our wedding DJ to keep the party going, we had cornhole set up, and we had pizza delivered and everything went well. The owners were helpful and easy to work with. Highly recommend the Cut for any event!

We knew since day 1 that Bass Rocks was where we were going to get married. I've never doubted our decision to choose this special place to host our wedding ceremony and reception at. Laura, Paul, and Peter the GM were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. Laura's kindness and expertise were amazing. She is truly meant to do what she does- she made the day look and feel flawless. Paul and his staff are incredibly talented and hospitable. We've had many compliments about the quality of the food, the level of service, and the overall feel of the venue. "Best wedding ever" was a common compliment amongst our guests. You can't go wrong with BRGC!

We booked a block of rooms at Cape Ann Marina for our wedding in July, and had a great experience. Elyse was absolutely wonderful to work with, and was extremely helpful in the busy weeks leading up to the wedding. T

We had an absolutely amazing time during our small wedding on the Wejack! (Captain Jeff even officiated, which was super cool!) Jeff and Barbara took great care to coordinate the food and drinks on board, and had great vendor suggestions for our planning. They let us come out and see the boat beforehand, and were super flexible with all our plans. The boat was a blast, and we and our guests all had such a great time. We truly could not have asked for a better experience.
