The Petite Wedding Package by Hammond Castle Museum
Say "I do" in the expanse of our Great Hall or embrace while perfectly framed by our iconic arches with sweeping views of Gloucester Harbor. Our new petite wedding package allows you to host an intimate wedding ceremony. You and your closest family and friends will have exclusive access to the Museum and gardens for your ceremony and photography. A maximum number of 25 is permitted.
Facilities and Capacity
With incredible coastal views, the venue's lawns, coupled with The Great Hall, can easily accommodate 120 guests. The Great Hall alone comfortably seats 90 for dining. We encourage exploration of the Renaissance Dining Room, the Library with the "whisper" ceiling, and the courtyard with tropical plants and a pool. A private room for the bride and groom is available throughout the event.

Hammond Castle is an active museum, so if you're thinking about using them as a wedding venue you need to go into it with the knowledge that you must be respectful of their operating hours and your allotted time--this is especially important when choosing and coordinating your vendors (particularly when scheduling drop-offs and pickups for equipment). The castle was also constructed in the 1920s and has some steep stairs so if you have elderly guests or people with mobility issues be mindful that they will likely need some assistance getting around.
