Facilities and Capacity

Bass Rocks Golf Club has a spacious clubhouse with a variety of spaces that you can utilize for your bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and other life celebrations. This wedding venue can comfortably accommodate up to 180 guests in the 14,000-square-foot clubhouse. Additionally, there are outdoor spaces on the green that can be utilized for ceremonies. Bass Rocks Golf Club offers a calming environment with great ambiance for weddings and other life celebrations. Bass Rocks Golf Club also offers space for the bridal party to get ready for the days events.

Cuisine

Goodman Hospitality is the catering service on-site at the Bass Rocks Golf Club. This on-site catering company will create a custom menu for your special event centered around your personal tastes and preferences. You can choose between buffet style or a four course plated meal and everything in between for Goodman Hospitality to serve on your special day. Additionally, the cuisine offered includes options to add a sundae bar, cheese display or an antipasto table to enhance your dining experience.

Amazing experience!

We knew since day 1 that Bass Rocks was where we were going to get married. I've never doubted our decision to choose this special place to host our wedding ceremony and reception at. Laura, Paul, and Peter the GM were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. Laura's kindness and expertise were amazing. She is truly meant to do what she does- she made the day look and feel flawless. Paul and his staff are incredibly talented and hospitable. We've had many compliments about the quality of the food, the level of service, and the overall feel of the venue. "Best wedding ever" was a common compliment amongst our guests. You can't go wrong with BRGC!

We hosted my parent's 50th wedding anniversary here with 65 guests. From start to finish, the process was seamless. They food was delicious, the views stunning, the staff friendly and warm, and the memories will last a lifetime. Thank you Bass Rocks.

I wanted to Bass Rocks Golf Club for making my daughter's baby shower extra special. They were so helpful throughout the process. The venue was beautiful and the food excellent. Being able to decorate the room as we liked made the event even more special. Paul from Goodman's Catering was also extremely helpful throughout the planning process. I would highly recommend your venue to anyone planning a special function!

My husband and I were married last summer at Bass Rocks Golf Club, and could not have had a more enjoyable, lovely and wonderful experience! Every staff person we worked with made us feel as though they were just as excited about how day as we were. During the planning process, I exchanged countless emails with Laura, who always quickly responded with a positive, can-do response and was eager to help with whatever we needed. All the staff were helpful in the weeks leading up to the day, with friendly reminders and tips of what was needed and when it was needed by. The day of the wedding was as calm, prepared and smooth as I could of imagined. All Bass Rocks staff were smiling, friendly faces to all of our guests and to the wedding party. Laura and Allison made me and the bridesmaids feel at home in the bridal suite downstairs, and accomodated any request we had. Communication between Bass Rocks staff and my other vendors (DJ, officiant, photographer) was excellent, and it felt like they had all worked together before - which they hadn't. A moment that truely speaks to the quality of service you get at Bass Rocks came seconds after my husband and I were officially married. We walked up the aisle, and into the bridal suite as directed. Waiting for us was a platter of appetizers, a stack of our personalized napkins, and fresh drinks of our choice (that we had been drinking prior to the ceremony) complete with "bride" and "groom" coozies. It was a special, thoughtful touch that really shows how much the Bass Rocks staff care. Bass Rocks was a incredible venue to hold our wedding, I can't imagine having held anywhere else!

My New Years Eve wedding was fantastic, thanks to Bass Rocks Golf Club! From the location, food and atmosphere.. it was all amazing. My parents had their wedding at Bass Rocks about 29 years ago, and I loved the idea to do the same.
I wanted a cocktail style event, instead of a traditional sit down dinner and it worked out great. Peter Hood and his staff really made my cocktail reception a success! I used both the full dining room, and pub area, opening it all up and it flowed nicely..even including a photo booth! The music and up lighting was a beautiful touch and really made the room look magical. I had about 220 guests, and the space was perfect, more than enough room with only having seating for about 100.
Timothy Hopkins Catering did an unbelievable job, the food was so delicious! We had passed hors d'oeuvres of ten different appetizers, a buffet of finger foods, from mini angus beef and vegi sliders, lobster rolls, sliced tenderloin, sweet potato fries and much more....it was all so tasty! The presentation and amount was perfect.
All in all, we were very happy with the results after spending a year of planning our wedding day. I am still getting comments on how beautiful and fun our wedding was. Thanks to my friends at "the rock", it was really an amazing wedding, thank you!!

Peter Hood at Bass Rocks provided an excellent venue for our wedding and reception. Peter is very responsive, professional, and flexible. There were no surprises with Peter and Bass Rocks. No unexpected hiccoughs. Cocktails on the patio were perfect. The room set up nicely. The bartenders were very friendly as well. We highly recommend Bass Rocks as a beautiful, well-run venue for a wedding ceremony and reception venue.

What a terrific venue...The main ballroom is large enough to accomdate a good sized group without feeling cavernous. A grand fieldstone fireplace anchors the room, and the many/generous sized windows provide sweeping views of the beautiful golf course and the ocean in the background - just lovely. We hosted our familiy's Christmas Party on a cold December afternoon, and the Club's fesitve and tasteful holiday decor and a roaring fire made it the perfect place to be. Can't say enough about the food and the service...both - amazing! Our event included a reception hour followed by a luncheon buffet. The food was delectable from the hors d'oeuvres to the desserts - all cooked/crafted by Tim Hopkins & staff. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the presentation was beautiful. Tim's creative menu demonstrates his passion for food. Service was very professional - friendly, discreet, and efficient. Pete Hood, BR Gen.Mgr. was a pleasure to work with - very accomodating, very flexible. Ours is not an easy crowd to please, and EVERYONE was delighted. We've re-booked for 2011!

Bass Rocks is in a spectacular location with splendid ocean and golf course views and easy access. The club manager is extremely accommodating, working on each event with care and attention to make it a pleasant experience. The space is flexible and easy to adjust to different size functions. Our own Fundraiser Event, "From Broadway to Beauport" was wildly successful due to the involvement of the club and fantastic "heavy appetizer" fare provided by the caterer, Tim Hopkins. The Arts on the Walls gives the club a warm feeling - compelemented by the staff!
