Two of my greatest passions in life are people and photography. I believe that every person I get the extreme honor of photographing broadens my understanding of the world around me. Through my photography I seek to document people as they are at that moment. I strive to let their real personality shine through the picture, as well as share their passions that they are interested in at that moment, so they can always be remembered. Photographing people has really shown me new ideas and challenged me to deepen as a person. I view the art of portraiture as a team art. It’s me with my camera, and the subject/client making the picture together. The client’s personality tints every aspect of the shoot, and that makes every shoot original in my mind. I love this about my job more then anything else. I really don’t know what is going to happen when walking in to a shoot, and that is what is so thrilling about photography to me. I have wanted to be a photographer ever since high school. After graduating high school I attended Art Institute of Seattle, where I excelled in portraiture through out my schooling. I graduated in Sept. of 2006 with a degree in commercial photograph. My business has been growing steadily and I’m excited to see where it is going.
