CLW has a very high range of lighting experience from shooting in the dark to bright sunlight.
Is your media preference film or digital?
All of CLW Photography's work is captured digitally.
How many photographers do you work with?
CLW Photography typically shoots 50-65 photographs per hour. However, each wedding is different.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
CLW Photography is guaranteed to arrive at your event earlier than scheduled.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
CLW Photography handles only one wedding a day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
CLW Photography provides a backup photographer in case of unavailability. However, the backup has never been necessary....knock on wood :-)
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
CLW Photography mostly uses professional grade equipment. However, there are some very nice consumer grade products that are excellent and work well for the given job. CLW Photography uses what is necessary to complete the job.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
CLW Photography brings ample backup equipment.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
CLW Photography has hourly rates available if a package does not appeal to the potential client.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
CLW Photography charges an overtime fee for anything over the originally agreed amount. The fee depends on the contract.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
CLW Photography takes only 1 (one) meal break during a six (6) event.
Do you charge for travel?
CLW Photography charges a fee for travel and the fee depends on the travel arrangements.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
CLW Photography provides online proofs within 3 weeks after all events. Sometimes within days, but again, every event is different.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
CLW Photography provides online and/or printed proofs.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
CLW Photography provides printed proofs for the client to keep as their own for reference.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
CLW Photography retains copyright of all photographs. However, every client will receive written authorization to print the photographs for their own use. Commercial use is not authorized unless specifically written under contract.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
CLW Photography may use any work performed by CLW Photography for publishing (advertising, samples, etc)
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
CLW Photography has various options for digital files.
Will images be available for viewing online?
CLW Photography provides an online gallery for all clients
What kind of albums do you offer?
CLW Photography provides flush mounted photo albums. These albums do not have matts. The photographs are printed directly onto a thick cardboard substrate.
When will the client get the final album?
CLW Photography provides the final album within 90 days of the final selection submitted from the client to CLW Photography.
