About this vendor
Photographs by Emily is a wedding & portrait photographer based out of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, about one hour north of Detroit. Owner and photographer Emily Goudy has been photographing weddings in the Blue Water area for over 10 years. She has not only had the opportunity to travel the greater Detroit area to capture her clients' special moments, but she has also had the opportunity to capture weddings as far west as Oahu, Hawaii, and as far north as Mackinac Island, Michigan.
Photographs by Emily provides a personal and professional touch to every wedding she has the privilege to capture. Every wedding is a new adventure to meet & befriend a bride and groom, and their families.

Sweet, kind, professional, fun!
Emily is so professional and so good at what she does! She really takes her time to make sure good pictures are taken, and she'll make sure to get any poses you want done as well! We just got newborns done, and she had a little area set up for our daughter to play while she took pictures of the baby. I couldn't ask for more, and I wouldn't want to go to anyone else!

My Wedding Day Saving Grace
First of all, planning a wedding is hard but planning a wedding during a pandemic is even harder. Emily was willing to work with us as we continuously made changes to our wedding plans in order to accommodate constantly changing restrictions. We had other vendors who backed out of working our wedding. Instead of backing out, she found a way to safely work ours. As all other covid brides, we had our wedding outdoor and had no choice but to depend on good weather. The forecast was clear sunny and 70 for the two weeks prior to the wedding. To our surprise, we woke up the morning of our wedding with rain showers. Emily handled yet another change in plans like a boss. She was the reason I didn't cry that morning. She hurriedly used pockets of no rain in order to capture our awesome photographs. We are so thankful she had the experience and mindset to make our rainy day work.

Easy and professional!
Emily is dependable, easy to work with, and professional! She was eager to travel and arrived early to scope out the perfect locations for photos. Along with her vision and attention to detail, her laid back personality helped minimize stress on our wedding day. We’d highly recommend her services! :)

Great Wedding Photographer
Emily was great! I met her at the bridal show in Port Huron and knew I wanted her to photograph our engagement and wedding.
Emily met with us a couple weeks before the wedding to go over exactly what we wanted, where we wanted to take pictures, and who all needed to be in the pictures. She made me feel calm and like I didn’t need to worry about anything photo related.
As you can see, we received gorgeous photos and great service. I would recommend Emily to anyone looking for a great photographer!
