Wedding Photography in Detroit

We used Shelly for our wedding at Tapestry House and she was incredible! She is familiar with the venue and knows all the best spots, and she was able to help us feel so calm and confident in front of the camera! She was extremely helpful leading up to our wedding day and was always available to answer any questions. She provided details and items for our flat lay shots and helped keep everyone on schedule! Shelly was a huge part of our successful day.

We had such an amazing experience with our photographer! From start to finish, they were kind, professional, and so easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and brought such creative ideas to every shot. We were also blown away by how quickly we received our photos back — and every single one was beautifully edited. The pictures turned out even better than we could’ve imagined, and we’ll cherish them forever. We truly couldn’t recommend them more!

I am thrilled with our decision to use Tracy and Riva to capture our wedding day. They are an awesome duo and were incredibly easy to work with. They captured so many wonderful moments throughout the day and we have loved looking through all the photos they took, reliving our special day. They did an excellent job listening to what we wanted, making sure to capture all of the important moments and details. Tracy and Riva were also a huge help in assisting us in planning out our wedding day timeline to make sure the day ran as smoothly as possible. I would recommend them without hesitation!

Abby and Todd Veldman are great! We had an excellent experience with both our engagement photo shoot and wedding photography. We got all of the shots we wanted and were very impressed with the quality of the pictures. Veldman photo does a great job getting the pictures to you quickly. I think we were able to view the engagement photos less than a week after they were taken and we saw the wedding photos (there were A LOT more of these) about 1.5-2 weeks after the wedding. I like that we were given so many pictures to choose from (about 1,400 wedding pictures). It's easy to feel comfortable around Abby and Todd; both do a great job of arranging people and telling you how to pose. In comparison to other photographers we looked at, the value of Veldman Photo was great. We feel like we got a lot of quality pictures for what we paid. To be honest, we are having a very hard time trying to decide which pictures to put in our wedding album because there are so many good photos to choose from (a good problem to have, if you ask me). We thought that Veldman Photo was very responsive to our requests, professional, and definitely able to be flexible and go with the flow (we made some changes to the picture list the day of the ceremony). We had a great experience!

Sean was an exceptional photographer. He captured every detail and then some and was very professional while doing so. He did everything he said he was going to and as a result, we have beautiful photo memories to remember the day. I would highly recommend him for any photo needs.

Astrid and her assistant are absolutely the BEST!!! Her talent is unmatched and her happiness and fun attitude makes the day that much more fun and exciting to having her by your side through the day! I appreciate that she was able to give us options and help create our flawless day of timeline. She's very professional and punctual. We hope to use Astrid for any other future photo opportunities!!!

Caitlin was an absolute dream to work with. From our first phone call to our engagement shoot to dealing with a covid-induced two-wedding situation, she was professional, flexible, and open-minded. Plus, she was a calming, stable presence in the tornado nightmare that is wedding planning. She was an absolute joy to work with, the photos are exactly what I hoped for, and I would hire her a million times over.

Jessica and her husband were so amazing to work with! We planned our wedding out of state and only met online with Jessica once and she was so easy to get along with and so much fun the day of! We just got our proofs back and they’re absolutely beautiful!! Beyond what I could have anticipated.

Michael's photographs are beautiful. He is a pleasure to work with, helps keep things fun and light and helps you to feel comfortable. Booking with him is easy and he is very open to your ideas as well as incorporating his own. His turn around time to get your pictures to you is quick and he gives a very beautiful gift box with your pictures and a USB with all the pictures in high resolution on them. It is very professional and very beautiful. I would recommend him to anyone!
