Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings?
All of our tastings are private and done by appt. only. We have a $30 fee to hold your date which will be put towards your cake order if a deposit is made at time of the tasting

Our cakes are priced based on design and per person. We offer custom cakes hence we cannot have set prices.

We prefer to design custom cakes with the brides but can do pre-designed cakes
What (if any) special ingredients, such as fresh fruits or farm-fresh butter, do you use in your cakes?
Cakes by the "Pound" only uses the freshest ingredients available
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
1 month ahead is recommended
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?
The amount varies based on the design of each cake. We try and dedicate as much time to each cake.
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
We prefer to have the brides florist provide flowers if that is the road they choose. It saves the bride money and prevent any mismatches.
What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?
cake stand, and offer custom stands as well.
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
We do offer delivery and prefer to do so, since some cakes need to be set up/built on site.
