Butter Cake Shoppe is an amazing bakery. Their tasting was affordable and easy to do with their little cake cups. All of the flavors we tried were amazing, but we decided on their red velvet which was absolutely fantastic. We sent them some inspo pics and we absolutely love the cake we got on the day of. We had a beautiful vintage decorative 3 their wedding cake that served our 60 guests easily and it was amazing.

My wedding guests cannot stop asking me where our wedding cake was from - Butter Cake Shoppe! I knew in just chatting with Ari initially that Butter Cake Shoppe was going to be my top choice - the flavors are classic but creative, and they were willing to jump all in on my vision. My fiance and I went through two tasting boxes - partially because we couldn’t decide, but mostly because the cake was just that good. The crunch pearls in most flavors are the best part, so do not skip on those. And anything with the pistachio praline is incredible (seriously, you guys should jar and sell that stuff).
We ended up with a gorgeous three tiered ‘Lambeth’ style cake with lemon and strawberry-pistachio layers, plus two sheet cakes in the back for extra servings. Plus, Butter Cake Shoppe provided the cutest frozen anniversary cake so the top tier didn’t have to be saved! I’m not exaggerating when I say that mostly every guest at our wedding asked where the cake was from or said it was the best cake they’d ever had.
As if all of that wasn’t enough, Butter Cake Shoppe also put together a fishing themed groom’s cake for my rehearsal dinner as a surprise for my fiance. He absolutely loved it and all of his fishing friends got a kick out of how realistic it was, and that we used red velvet for the ‘insides’ of the fish. It was so perfect and such a special way to kick off the wedding weekend!

We loved our cake! We selected a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting for one layer and a marble cake with hazelnut filling and buttercream frosting for the other two layers. Everyone loved the cake, it was delicious without being overly sweet and it was beautiful! The team was very easy to work with and very responsive.

I did several cake tasting but loved Butter Cake Shoppe cakes the best!

Our wedding planner suggested Butter Cake Shoppe for us and I am so glad she did. My three-tiered devil's food cake with nutella and espresso buttercream wedding cake from Butter Cake Shoppe was absolutely DIVINE. It IS the most delicious, chocolatey cake I have ever had. The cake was light and bouncy, moist but not wet, and sweet, but not too sweet. It really was the most perfect cake and I cannot wait to order other cakes from them. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for delicious cake that won't break the bank.

The most delicious cake ever!! We had such a wonderful experience with Butter Cake Shoppe. Their team is professional and has lots of experience, even our wedding vendors mentioned how impressed they were with the team. They helped us navigate portions and head counts and they were right on! They are creative and prepared suggestions for our tasting we *never would have thought of. They made our dessert table at our wedding one of a kind. BUTTER CAKE SHOPPE YOU ROCK!

Like their cakes, the Butter Cake Shoppe team is perfection. They made every step of the process simple and were incredibly accommodating and collaborative in our cake design. One thing I really loved about them was that they worked WITH US not AGAINST US... we visited several cake shops before that told us what we wanted was either "wrong" or couldn't be done with our budget. Honestly, it was not only discouraging, it was insulting... but the Butter Cake Shoppe team made up for all of that... they were able to do everything we wanted and worked with our budget... and you know what else? Their cakes tasted better than those other bakeries anyway! I can not recommend them higher for your wedding, birthday, special day, or just for when you're craving a slice of frosted covered heaven. Trust me, you can't go wrong with these cakes or this team!
