Doubletree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront
Located along Ocean Boulevard and with hundreds of guest rooms onsite—all of them with an ocean view—the Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront resort is an ideal spot if you're coming from out of town to get married. The 27-acre resort has all the amenities you and your guests will need, including two restaurants, a swimming pool (and poolside bar), fitness center, miniature golf, bike rentals, and beach access. For your big day, you can get married on the beach, on an oceanfront terrace, or in one of the hotel's window-lined banquet rooms. Wedding packages include catering, alcohol, event rentals (chairs, linens, tables, etc.), and event staff.
Marina Inn at Grande Dunes
If you prefer sailing instead of catching waves at the beach, we think the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes is the place for you. The 2,000-acre yacht club in central Myrtle Beach has a Mediterranean-inspired style, with terracotta shingle roofing, waterfront promenades, and palmetto trees throughout the venue. Outside, you can get married on the Grande Lawn or Compass Pad, both of which have views of the water and golf course. For an indoor wedding, choose from various ballrooms and banquet rooms. Marina Inn at Grande Dunes offers wedding packages including catering, event staff, chairs, tables, linens, and more.
Events at North Beach
Events at North Beach is a must-see location for couples in search of a traditional venue that also provides all of the basic wedding day necessities. This elegant venue offers in-house catering, along with various event rentals and day-of assistance. Catering packages begin around $50 for a buffet-style meal or $75 for a sit-down meal. Events at North Beach has four spaces for your wedding day, including a grand ballroom, courtyard (pictured above), a beachfront area, and Blu, a contemporary lounge-style restaurant that’s ideal for your rehearsal dinner. Events at North Beach also has a wedding suite available, so you can get ready right at the venue.
The Cooper House Event Center
To no one’s surprise, beachfront properties account for most of the venues in the Myrtle Beach area. But if your wedding style is more rustic, we’ve got the perfect barn for you! The Cooper House Event Center is located in Scoastee, only about eight miles from the Myrtle Beach International Airport. The “barn”, a historic house that dates back to 1908, is the main event space featuring exposed rafters and floor-to-ceiling shelves that give the venue plenty of original character. The barn is surrounded by lush gardens and oak trees draped in Spanish moss that provide abundant shade and scenery for an outdoor ceremony.
Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes
At the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, an oceanfront courtyard is one of the most popular (and breathtaking) event spaces. The courtyard offers beautiful Atlantic views for your special day, but if you need more options, the venue has 10 other spaces to choose from. This oceanfront hotel is one of the best Myrtle Beach wedding venues for couples with a very large guest list — the biggest ballroom can accommodate over 1,600 guests! Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort also has spaces that are ideal for more intimate parties, including smaller banquet rooms and a scenic pool deck. Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort is an excellent choice for anyone hosting a destination wedding. Room blocks are available, and your guests can spend their free time relaxing poolside, at the beach, or at the hotel spa.
Grande Dunes Members Club & Ocean Club
This luxury Myrtle Beach resort features two different venues, the Members Club and the Ocean Club, which offer a total of 13 event spaces for you to choose from. For views of the coast, the Grande Dunes Ocean Club is a must. Classic couples will fall in love with the gorgeous Ocean Club ballroom (pictured above). At the Grande Dunes Members Club, you’ll find a Mediterranean-inspired clubhouse featuring romantic Old World decor, like iron chandeliers and mosaic tile floors. To make your big day as seamless as possible, Grande Dunes provides wedding coordination, in-house catering, decorating, event rentals, wifi, and getting ready suites.
Pine Lakes Country Club
Pine Lakes Country Club is one of our favorite Myrtle Beach wedding venues that has true Southern charm. The venue’s stately mansion is an impressive backdrop for hosting an outdoor wedding, but the interior is just as lovely. Pine Lakes Country Club can host up to 300 people and offers three different event spaces, including an indoor banquet room with dark wood floors, coffered ceilings, and sparkling chandeliers. Catering is provided exclusively by the in-house kitchen staff and begins at $45 per person. Pine Lakes Country Club will also supply tables, chairs, decor rentals, and vendor recommendations for anything else you may need!
Whether you want to get married with your toes in the sand or simply want a wedding overlooking the beach, Kingston Resorts offers both options! This property in Arcadian Shores actually consists of four different venues, including the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort and the Embassy Suites Hotel, giving you even more options to choose from. Kingston Resorts has event spaces for any wedding style or budget, ranging from the oceanfront ceremony lawn to indoor banquet halls and even a rooftop ballroom. No need to worry about catering, set-up/clean-up, event rentals, or day-of coordination — it’s all handled by Kingston Resorts! Another reason why this is one of our favorite Myrtle Beach wedding venues? You’ll be treated to a complimentary stay in an oceanfront suite on your wedding night.
The Breakers Resort
As one of the more affordable Myrtle Beach wedding venues, The Breakers Resort makes having an oceanfront wedding a reality, no matter your budget. The rental cost for this venue includes almost everything you’ll need on the big day, including tables, chairs, linens, flatware, china, and various decor. In-house catering and serving staff are also provided — packages begin at $35 per person for a plated dinner. An oceanfront ceremony lawn, which is one of the most popular event spaces at The Breakers Resort, can accommodate 100 people, while the venue overall can host weddings for up to 275 guests. When the big day arrives, getting ready and heading to your venue will be a breeze, thanks to onsite accommodations that range from standard rooms to private multi-bedroom condos with oceanfront views.
