OMG!!! HELP ME PLEASE! Serious EYE LASH GLUE Emergency!! MUA'S

Please help me! It's 12am, I have a 8am flight to Jamaica for our honeymoon and I have false individual lashes attached to the inside of my eye lids. They are irritating my eyes and I DO NOT have any lash remover! I've tried washing them out, I've tried make up remover with oil and let them sit, I've tried baby oil. The attachment is black colored and has camphor in it, she told me. I don't know what to do!!

Did you use heavy duty glue? If so, you're going to have those for a week or so.

From what I've read, you can try petroleum jelly. Or soap and water. Here's a website that uses 1tbsp castor oil, 1tbsp extra virgin olive oil, and 2tsp canola oil. http://www.ehow.co.uk/how_5586235_remove-eyelash-glue-home-recipe.html

Try using steam from a shower to loosen them.

Try using finger nail polish remover and a q-tip that might remove the lashes. Otherwise I'm sorry not sure.

The hospital?! I'm sorry you're having such problems. I don't know what they used on mine, but if I couldn't pull them off myself, steam from the shower helped or just going to bed with them on helped wear them off. But if they're bothering you enough to go to the hospital then I'd say those aren't very good options.

If they're semi permanent, you may have to pluck them off-it may hurt, but better than having them inside your eyelids!

so sorry mrs J, hope you get it fixed before jamaica Smiley sad

Congrats sweetie, it'll be fine xxxx

Please don't use nail polish remover! Try warm compresses (as warm as you can stand) to warm it up. If you "rip" them from the inside of your lids not only will it be extremely painful, you'll have a risk of infection during your trip and also risk of scarring the lids. After you warm it up, gently work them lose. Petroleum jelly wont harm your eyes but I'm not sure it will be effective. Please don't use any chemicals...if the warmth wont help then go to your Optometrist to remove them...it will be cheaper than going to the hospital and they'll actually do a better job! Good luck!

Did you get it fixed Mrs. J? Hope you're okay! And please for the love of pete, do NOT put nail polish remover on your eyes, I can't believe someone would even suggest that!
