I always thought (yeah, tacky, I know) that if people invite me for their weddings, they actually want me to be there. But now I understand people do not expect all of their guests to show up, which is also tacky. We currently have 2 tacky invitations for 2 weddings this summer. I’m wondering if we...

We currently have 2 tacky invitations for 2 weddings this summer. I’m wondering if we are among those tacky guests who should decline but to the couple’s tacky surprise, we accept? Before you say anything negative, I understand it’s tacky we haven’t RSVPed before we received the invitations.

Is it tacky if I call the couples and ask them if that really want us to show up? Or should we decline and just send them a tacky gift?

Please help, but don’t comment if you’re going to say something tacky. Thanks!

Hayley, My aunt has been to the stained tupperware wedding. She said it was so tacky!

I think you would need to show up right before the bride walks down the isle (spelling is tacky too). and run to meet the groom in your white see through dress with red JUICY panties on.

I also think crazy 19yr wackadoodles who are making so much more work and trouble for people are tacky! Just let me leave in peace....they have all next year to be tacky wackadoodles!

Demand that they do the "dollar dance" and pay them in pennies =) Give them a Birthday card and cross out Birthday to insert Wedding Day, don't forget to include an "IOU" for the wedding gift stating that you wish to purchase something on their registery but would like to do so after they have received all other gifts so as not to duplicate any gift!

Tied a knot - that reminded me that last year my nana gave me a thank you card for my bday - under where it said Thank You she wrote "for being a lovely granddaughter." lol.
