Wedding details
Mr. Mags and I are on super tight budgets. While we would love to have a fancy, lavish party with no compromises thats not realistic. With our focus on our marriage and other goals we have been working hard to plan a wedding that is beautiful, classy, and almost everything DIY! Our wedding will be taking place in a luxory mountain home we rented for the weekend. We just thought it would be easier to do this with so much being DIY. Renting this home for the weekend is the same price as renting a venue for a few hours in our town. The only formal vendor we have is the officiant. As we finish our planning I would like to add links that we have found to be very helpful. Google is your best friend! Also the forums here are are very rich source of information. Post questions! use the search tool! I have collected so many tips including many of the links below from fellow brides. These links are great for Venue and Vendor searches http://www.eventective.com/ http://www.decidio.com/ Great for ideas and advice http://www.500greatweddingideas.com/ http://offbeatbride.com/ Rings-Occasionally this sites has a code for free rings.Use the tool search on the forums to find out more info. http://www.jvljewelry.com/ My E-ring however is a freshwater Pearl. I chose this option for ethical reasons because the diamone industry is very unethical. Spend your money wisely because it does matter !Some may very well have died harvesting the diamond for your ring. Invites and Save the dates Vista Print!!! I would never dream to do this if our guest list was not small. http://www.greatpartyrecipes.com/cooking_for_large_groups.html http://www.greatpartyrecipes.com/how_to_stock_a_bar.html http://www.angelfire.com/bc/incredible/Buffetchart2.html tips http://lotsofinfo.tripod.com/N8feedingacrowdtips.htm food safety - FAQ to avoid food poisioning http://www.angelfire.com/bc/incredible/foodsafe1.htm "OUR STORY" Once upon a time, there was a prince who lived in a kingdom by the sea. Everyday was filled with hard work and anticipation of the day when he would finally set eyes upon the fair lady that he may one day be able to call his princess. Far away lived a princess. She traveled the countryside with her dancing horses. In high hopes, she finally settled in Florida, with the wish her dreams would all come true. One day, fate intertwined at a lovely café. At first sight, smiles lit across their faces and their laughter filled the evening. After dining they decided to take a stroll. As the evening drew to a close they both knew, somehow, they would continue to play an important role in each others lives. At the time, they could never have guessed how right they would both be! Then came the news the princess must leave this new land. With tears they hugged goodbye with promises to visit. The princess hugged her prince farewell afraid she might never see her prince again. The prince however was steadfast in his promises, and she trusted him to keep his word.Every weekend the prince mounted his fiery red steed and galloped south along the eastern shore, home to his princess. She returned the favor by surprising him on his birthday with a lavish party fit for kings! As the year turned, the prince and the princess made the decision they would never be apart again. They spent many seasons together, bobbing through the ups and downs of life. Always by each others side without fail, becoming the best of friends. Finally, one day the prince led the princess to the shore. The evening was bursting with music and spirit. Fireworks brightened the sky as they laughed and smiled. Loving every second of each others company in the warm ocean breeze. The prince then kneeled down in front of the princess and asked her to please take his hand in marriage. Looking at her beloved prince, holding the most beautiful token of love one could imagine, the princess exclaimed YES!
