How many bridemaids, jr bridemaids and flower girls are you having???

Sandralyse, on June 26, 2011 at 1:26 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 48

I am concern that i may be going over board with my wedding party. I have two MOH, one is the maid and the other one is the matron(were i come from we call them Madrinas) 4 bridemaids, three jr. bridemaid, one flower girl, and one little bride(we do that were i come from) so its a total of 11girls and all of them have their groosmen.

The main reason i had to do it is becuase i have 4 sons and 1 step son and i truely want them in my wedding....also i have sister, sister-in-law and three brother-in-law and i want them all to be in the wedding too...so what i want to know do you guys think is tacky or ghetto????

    3 BM 1 MOH

    2FG

    NO JRBM

I don't necessarily think it's ghetto but it can be costly. I agree with Kara it can be very costly.

I'm having 1 matron of honor, 4 bridesmaids, and 2 flower girls. There are other roles these important people can have in your wedding besides being in the wedding party. Some can be ushers, some can do readings, etc. But ultimately, if you want them up there it's your decision. Just remember the cost and time it will take to incorporate all of those people into the wedding party...

No, not tacky at all. your wedding party can be as big or small as you want (or can afford!) it's all a matter of personal choice. (:

as for me, i'm having two maids (matrons, actually) of honor. since they're both my very best friends, neither one will be a bridesmaid lol. i'm also having one flowergirl, one ringbearer. fh hasn't decided on his best man/groomsmen yet. hopefully he will soon!!!

    I have 1 moh, 3 bridesmaids, 2 Jr. Bridesmaids, 1 flower girl.

    Do that's 7...and there's 4 groomsmen and 1 ring bearer.

You do have a lot, but if that's what you want, they go for it. I don't think its ghetto.

1 MOH, the best man, 1 Matron OH, 5 bridesmaids and 2 Flower girls. I don't think that's tacky nor ghetto but completely the opposite, too sweet from you to choose all of them to play a special role part on this special day.

I don't think it is tacky at all. Your wedding is a day you spend with people that you love and all of the people you are including are people that you love.

I have 7 girls and 7 groomsmen. Not tacky to me trust me everyone will have an opinion. My FH even said we have 16 people at the head table dont you think thats too many. I bit my tongue because I wanted to say you added two of those people. But I just smiled and moved on. So girl I say have exactly what you want and who you want.

If you can afford to gift them, and provide their flowers, I don't think there is a rule on how big of a bridal party is acceptable. HOwever, having a big bridal party can be costly and a lot of work.

We are only having a BM and MOH. My two daughters and FH's son are performing for us.
