Justin and I met 4 years ago while we both worked at Burlington. After much flirting back and forth Justin left a note for me with his phone number and asked me to text him. We spent nights up texting back and forth or on the phone getting to know each other. Although we knew a lot about each other we had not been out together, so one night Justin finally asked me out. He kept all the details about what we were doing a secret, so naturally I was a little nervous. When he picked me up he took me out for ice cream where we sat at a picnic table and talked, after that we went to the Erie Canal where he spent a lot of his time and then hung out in his car listening to our favorite music. It was very important for him to listen to the music I liked since he is so passionate about music, even if it’s in a different language. Shortly after we started dating Justin moved away, it was a very hard 7 months since we were getting to know each other while being apart. This was definitely a big test to our love and loyalty to each other, but after all was said and done the love we felt was stronger than any distance. And now three years later, here we are.
