I was chatting with the VP help... they said I was crazy, no one else was complaining of issues, but that they were doing updates, so maybe that is the problem... guess I'm not crazy.

I found it easy to have 2 window open. 1 to my "portfolio" and 1 for picking free items.

I would add the free item. Accept the "default" design. Get it to my cart, don't even write any wording on it.

Then refresh your "portfolio" page, find the FREE item, click "edit"

For some reason when you open to edit in a different window you can then click the other limited designs. It has something to do with the cookies being sent to your computer? Someone else was able to get it to work by just clearing her cookies while working.

I don't know if there are any 100 free postcard links out there right now.

slickdeals link died back in Jan

and vistaprint.com/25 died last week on Wednesday

    Smiley sad

If you have one, please let us know.

or wait until one shows up, you should have some time before your LS deal expires.

*edit* wow, guess I need to define "us"

Us, the WW-Vistaprint experts, that like to help WW-Brides when they are asking for links. I know L.R. was still posting the /25 for people last week.

Why, Greg? I used them for my wedding invitations, my graduation announcements, and various other items. The colors were correct, the paper was a good thickness, they arrived on time and saved me a buttload of money.

Many other brides on these boards have used them for their Save the Dates and invitations with success. Some have used them in conjunction with pocket fold envelopes to create a great look for their wedding.

Why would you come here, say VP is a bad idea, without giving any concrete information as to why you believe this is the case? Because I'm pretty sure we can make a stronger case as to why VP is a fantastic choice for brides on a budget or brides who don't prioritize the wedding stationery or brides that simply would rather save money on invites that they can spend on, oh, I don't know, a photographer?

And I'm sure you would tell a budget bride that is is a VERY bad Idea to use a student photographer for their wedding, but sometimes Budget Brides need to use what they can on their budgets.

Vistaprint has always been an amazing tool for me, and I'm looking forward to using it for my wedding! It's making me able to spend a little more on other things I wouldn't typically spend money on. I think it's a great resource and offers a lot of great items on an affordable budget.

These ladies are always so kind to help us all out when needed. This thread was specifically started for a little help in making someone's wedding more special by getting the perfect items, and I find it quite unprofessional for someone in the wedding business to come in bashing another company, especially without reason.

Wow must we put up with another hater today? Come on Greggie don't be such a hater. Most of us have used VP over and over again and have no complaints. It's Monday be happy!

If I don't use VP I can't afford my expensive photographer. Did you ever think of that one?

Listen, if you want really fancy letterpress invites, VP is not for you. There have been many ladies on these boards who have gotten fantastic invites from a variety of vendors. VP is not for everyone, that is a fact.

But to pop in, say something is a bad idea when a ridiculous amount of us can counter that and then not return is a. BULLCRAP, b. shady as hell, and c. shows you are chicken.

If you're on a budget, if you don't care that much about the invites, VP is a GREAT resource. If any new brides see this, I do NOT want them to be turned off to the possibilities by some scaredy cat vendors who some brides would never even be able to afford.

    YOU GO Reenski!

I wasn't going to spend hundreds on some paper that 99% of my guests will throw away. No matter how fancy it is, they WILL still throw it away. VP is awesome, thankyouverymuch.

    Love to Reenski and Hayley!!!!

I haven't gotten my invites yet, but I have gotten my STDs (along with various professional and personal stationary items) and everything came out fabulous and at a phenomenal price. There is nothing wrong with VP and for someone (a vendor no less) to make any bride on these forums feel bad for using VP is...tacky! (lol, sorry, I had to) But seriously Greg, I'm sorry if someone peed in your cheerios this morning, but don't come on here and vent out your passive aggression everywhere.

I think it's hilarious that Greg's comment has 4 likes and no one, vendor or bride, has the b@lls to type out why they feel it's such a "bad idea."

We're adults. If you have an argument to make, make it. Back yourself up. Don't do this type and hide behind my computer bullcrap.

I LOVE Vistaprint! Saved me a butt load of money and the quality is awesome (especially for something that 98% of people receiving will throw away).

It just makes me mad. When we warn people against Chinese knock off sites, we provide links with pictures and stories of the actual dresses that people get so brides can be informed. If we just ran around saying "Bad idea" what bride isn't going to ask "Uh, why isn't it a bad idea?" When we had to write in school, we had to back up our argument. Why wouldn't you do the same here?

If there's some big issue, like VP funds the most terrible thing on the planet, tell us so we can be informed! But to just type and run makes it seem like you're threatened by us using VP, and honestly? The # of WW brides using VP are a drop in the wedding industry bucket.

I've posted Groupons for Zazzle, for Delphine Letterpress invites, many have endorsed Magnet Street and Wedding Paper Divas -- we're not trying to turn everyone into a VP bride, but if someone asks, we'll ACTUALLY answer.
