I am trying to order the free items but I can not select a design. I followed your instructions and bought the living social deal and now I need some help. The items are all designed and in my profile, they are uploaded designs so I know I have to pay for that.I will need a 100 oversized postcards...

I am very happy with the invitation design I bought on etsy and uploaded to VP for printing.

I suppose etsy is bad idea too though... But of course I was tacky enough to pick an invitation meant for a bachelorette party and use it for my wedding invitation...

I have LOTS of bad ideas...

You get what you pay for. Vista Print is budget printing, no matter how you slice it.

I freakin love vp. They are great quality. And I messed up one of my dates on my RSVP cards and they sent me new ones like the next day! And it was my fault!! Can anyone recommend what I can use from VP as tented escort cards?

.....and speaking of Vp, does anyone know a link to a current living social or groupon like 17 for 70?

With all due respect to the vendors, OP didn't ask what you thought about the quality of VP services and products, nor did she ask for your two cents on whether it is "budget" or not. She was asking fellow brides for help and you have the audacity to come on here and practically tell her that the avenue that she has chosen for her wedding stationary isn't good enough? That is ridiculous and you should be ashamed of yourself! Brides are self-conscious about everything that they do while planning their wedding and for you to just take it upon yourself to come onto her post and basically say that by her doing what she wants is "budget" or a bad idea is just crass and uncalled for.

You can use the flat business cards (usually can find flat business cards for free) and a box of square paperclips. (called "regal paper clips" - check walmart or office supply store)

or the folded business cards. (cost more)

I can't post a link to the groupon... you need to search back a few pages on the forums for that. Or use the google box in the top right side, under "topics" It is not the best for searching, but you might be able to find the post with the current one.

Budget printing for budget brides -- what's the problem with that? I was very happy with my budget invitations, programs and thank you cards.

Saying "bad idea" isn't advice. There's nothing to be learned from that. It's shameful to make someone feel that saving money on something for their wedding is a bad idea. You don't like VP, back it up, say why you don't like it, give a reason, not just a judgement.

And seriously, the vendors are now on this clique thing? Wow.

I tried to be nice but this is getting downright asinine! By all means, give us advice when we need it or ask for it, but once we have decided what we want to do, for you to try and bash it because you want to extend your "advice" (when you are not being at all helpful in any way) is just being hateful. If Greg could have articulated why he said what he did and give reasons or examples, then we would have understood it was a differing of opinion, but to bash and run is kinda chicken sh!t. If you are going to say what you have to say, have a reason to back it up or you just look like a whiny vendor that is pissy because we take our business elsewhere.

Since when is 'budget' a synonym for 'bad'?? I'm a budget bride, and you bet your bottom my wedding will be just as beautiful and meaningful as the ladies who can spend hundreds on paper. Not that spending that is bad either, we all have a right to spend our money the way we choose. And NO ONE should tell you that you are wrong. I've gotten a part of my invites from VP, and they are gorgeous! Pretty awesome for a 'budget' site!

Then as a vendor, how about you tell us what you are willing to offer? Obviously, the majority of us have a budget to stay in and would like to allocate our expenses wisely and to more things we regard with more importance such as food, dress and of course, photography. I just don't understand why any vendor other than someone specifically who works in the card, invitation, std industry would look down on our decision to use VP. We're trying to save money so we can afford vendors like yourselves.

The vendors are trying to show their support for the invitation vendors.

Just like you ladies are typing to show support for ww-brides.

    This is ridiculous.

She asked for help from 2 different ladies, and she named them. For vendors to come on here, and act downright stupid, is just shameless. What do you have to gain? You just sat there, and probably deflated this young woman's excitement over a deal, and probably made her feel slightly berated when she posted asking for advice.

While you're trying to support your vendors(as Hayley suggested), there is a surefire difference between "bad idea" or ugh, "budget" blah blah blah, (whiners!!), and "even though you already paid for something, it's possible you should look into x quality by x vendor". Instead, you all look like a buncha bishes, especially since the one ya'll are on here defending, he ain't even bothered himself to come back.

No worries, I have tough skin and i'm not stupid enough to pay big bucks for something that will end up in the trash. But to each their own; i'm proud of my savings. So far, i'm spending $45.12 with free shipping and my groupon, but the original price was $240.78! And im still doing some tweaking.
