Yeah I'm not having them dance togather specially since I'm going to torture the poor fellow as it is, cause I'm so tossing the flowers to my single mother! lol but no honestly you don't have to have them dance togather.

We've never had a couple that wants them to dance together. It can be extremely awkward! Most guys that catch the garter want to be done with it right after catching it.

LoL I didn't know they were supposed to, but regardless we will not be having them do it. If you are going to do it, I would suggest a song that is fun to lighten the mood, it could be kind of akward for the people who catch them.

In all the weddings we have done I have never seen the couple dance together. Only once did I see them have the guy put the garter on the girl who caught the bouquet. Was interesting.

We are not having them dance together, I wouldn't want to dance with someone I don't know very well. I even went to one wedding where the man had to put the garter back on the woman that caught the bouquet. It was very awkward. Luckily they were dating, I hope they wouldn't have done it if they weren't.

We had them dance together, but it was not planned. The couple that ended up catching it has been together for 15 years, no ring, much to her chagrin. I asked the DJ to play a song for them though, since it was such a coincidence. Smiley smile He played "In the mood for love". LOL

Bouquet toss......we used Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. I threw it, someone caught it, we hugged.....done.

Then someone got me a chair and put it on the dancefloor, while my husband took off my garter we played 'Down' (you spin me right round, baby right round, when you go down town). Then we my hubby threw it we played Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top, someone caught it....done.

We didn't do any dancing for it.

Yeah, avoid the dance if you can. I know many people purposely avoid catching the bouquet and garter for fear of the consequences (having to put the garter on the girl who catches it, having to dance with Old Uncle Bob, or whatever)

Um we are having no dance and we are having nobody the garter on the girl or anything like that. Due to the fact that I have some of my younger cousins their and I would not one some 40-year old single guy putting the garter on them. I think that is awkward and stuff.

For the bouquet toss we are using "A Public Affair" Jessica Simpson

For the garter removal we are using "Burnin Up" Jonas Brothers

For the garter toss FH picked out "Sexyback" Justin Timberlake.

We are going to include all men and all women in our tosses, married or not. We will have the MC tell them all to make a wish and who ever catches it will have their wish come true. For the garter toss we are thinking of "who the let the dogs out" and for the bouquet Im thinking "this one's for the girls". It would be akward if my married cousin has to dance with my best friends fiance that she has never met. So Id say, pass on the dance.

We aren't having them dance, but depending on who catches them we might have the guy put the garter on the girl. My friends and family are pretty outgoing so it should be fun. Obviously if one of the younger girls get it or it would be something creepy, we won't be doing that!

I've heard this was the tradition, but never been to a wedding where they dance together. Because most of our friends are NOT single, I thought we could do "Who ever catches the bouquet/garter will be luck in love" instead of the next to marry, And I will be using "GLAMAOUROUS" by Fergie Smiley winking..Because after all, Me and my lady friends and family ARE glamourous..hehehe
