Married life is not what i expected. My husband always been kind and considerate and loving as a fiancee. and in our long distance relationship but after the wedding, I moved to his city to finally be together. He always said he cant wait till we start living together but now that we do, he doesnt even seem to change ANY of his single ways. It is like I am not here. On top of that, I dont have a job yet and I need to wait about a month before I start working. He is at the gym all the time, he works so late and then takes business trips. When he is away, he is always sayng he misses me but when he is home, he is either trying to finish up some more work or at the gym or watching sports. I have never been an attention seeker but now it is annoying me and I am acting all sulky when he talks to me. Another thing, when we go to his family's, he is etremely nice to THEM and apologizes for things I have been telling him not to do, things he just shrugged off. My big problem now, I want to

First of all, you need to talk to him about how your feeling, if you can't, then expect more dispointment, and don't be thinking he knows how you are feeling and whats going on inside your head. If that was the case, no one would ever speak a word in their relationship. You need to seek out professional help, ASAP. The longer you delay takinging to him and getting help, the worse it will get.

Second. When you haven't lived with someone for a period of time, it's takes getting used too. BUT what you are decribing you are feeling, is more serious than getting annoyed by wet towels on the floor. So, please do you and your relationship a favor and talk to him about it and get help.

Hmm..it is a tough situation.. Have you tried talking to him about it? Talk to him kindly about it, he might not even know this is bothering you. Also, when you do talk to him about it, check to make sure that you aren't nagging or whining. It would make him bottle-up and might even try to avoid you some more.

Try to be nice to him (even if it is hard) and make a romantic dinner and you could talk about your expectations of what married life is about and how you long to see him more often.

Marriage isn't just about two people too. Both of you are marrying each other's families.

Mrs. B- because that's the whole point of trolling? "In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion."

You need to talk with your guy even if it means interrupting his favorite tv show. If he is a mommas boy then I would talk with him about that and explain to him that the way your mother is treating you is not going to be accepted. If she didn't want you to marry him it might be because she doesn't feel that anyone would be good enough for him. Also is he the youngest in the family or is he a middle child or an only child. both of those can be difficult to deal with and if he is the youngest then you are in for a long haul in trying to get him to realize that you are part of his family and he no longer can do whatever he wants when he wants either. Get counseling if talking to him is not working.

First of all let me address the troll issue. I dont know what that is, but I think you guys think this is fluke. But, the reason I created this profile is so that my in laws dont access it and look it up because they were checking my other profile.

This is interesting but you really need to add more info to your comments, they're too short and uninformed for anyone to get a good understanding of what is giong on.

Definitely counseling. You are both adjusting to living together, it's hard at the beginning, especially after a LDR (I had both with my first marriage). the visits were so focused on you both being together because you didn't see much of each other. Now real life is setting in and you both need help understanding the needs of the other person. This is not all on your to adjust - he needs to adjust as well. He cannot keep the same schedule he had before marriage - it's a partnership. A counselor will help you to navigate all the changes and will also be able to address the "mommy complex" thing he has going on with his family. Good luck, it's an adjustment, but with help you can make it work.

Girl, you’re either a troll or you have no clue who you married. I’m not sure what’s worst (in your case). You certainly don’t seem to describe your relationship with your husband in a way that shows you know him.

Four years dating and you are just now discovering this behavior about him? That spells either A) fishy – do I smell a troll? B) you’re married to a con-artist – has he asked you finance anything large lately? C) – You really don’t know him that well, you had a LDR from the very beginning and you have never spent more than a single month in his constant presence nor have you had any of the NECESSARY conversations in order to live the rest of your life with someone – meaning you were NOT ready for marriage. Or D) There is a crap-load of things you aren’t telling us until we point out you aren’t making any sense.

None of his behavior you have described (to me) seems to be out of the norm for a typical person.

I can’t see how you are so shocked or why you “assumed” that he was suddenly going to start planning couples trips out of the blue since you are now married. If you want those activities, YOU need to plan them – as well as grow a backbone so you can have an honest conversation with your husband.

    How old are you both?

Yes I have another profile. This email is what I use when I buy shoes so I am using it to discuss this. My inlaws do check my other ww profile, actually just my SIL. Anyhow, troll or not, I am just looking for a solution so I will answer the questions anyways.

we are 31 both and what I get out of these conversations, talk is a must, I knew that already but I hate asking for attention and everytime I think to sit down and do it, I tend to cry. That is why I havent done it so far. So, I called and told him to put aside an hour tonight because we have to talk. True we had never had any of the necessary conversation and because he has his own money, i had my own. and he visited mostly so all the other things in his life werent really that important when he was with me in my city. when we talk every day, he says he goes to the gym and tv and stuff but still he made more time on the phone than now in person. His parents realationship was great. one is deceased now so i only hear stories

Wow, tough stuff. I agree with the wonderful ww ladies who suggest getting counseling. I think there are communication issues in your marriage and that is something you can't let go. Communication is the foundation of a good marriage and you don't want to start things out in this manner. If you can't figure out how to discuss these things with your hubby then get a professional's help. I don't believe in divorce and I have to say it, I can't believe you would even be talking the way you are this soon into the marriage. From the sounds of your posts, I think you guys didn't know each other well enough and maybe shouldn't have gotten married quite yet. I don't agree with his family snooping into your business, that's never cool. I do wonder though if maybe their concerns have deeper meanings. i.e. - if you are already talking like this here on ww what else may you have said or done to make them worry about your commitment to their son?
