December 23rd 2018. We had been to Tennessee visiting Justin’s family for Christmas and we had got home and were laying in bed. He gets the biggest and cheesiest grin on his face and I’m trying to figure out what he’s about to do. I asked him “what?” He says, “I don’t know if this present should wait til Christmas or not.” And then he pulls the little box from behind his back! I was shocked so I just say, “is this real?” And he shakes his head yes! And he says, “Will you marry me?” And I say, “YES!”
