Not much left on to-do list, honestly. My stress level is through the roof right now due to work & trying to get everything done before I leave. With my job there’s no one to “cover” regular job duties, so everything that has to be done the week of the honeymoon must be done next week. It’s killing me.

    Stupid fat fingers.
And here I sit stressed out beyond belief and FH is bouncing around like my own personal Tigger who can’t contain his excitement.
The difference between our levels of excitement make me sad.

Yes I teach elementary music and have 500 students (will miss about 150 students while I’m gone). No one can cover my job really so I have to come up with worksheets for kids who can’t read and make and staple about 1000 copies 🤦‍♀️ My fiancé is also getting excited and has very little stress lol probably because I’m the one doing all the last minute stuff

I can’t complain about FH too much when it comes to planning. If I didn’t have time for something that needed to be done, he often took it over.
But yeah, there’s nobody to do my job while I’m gone. If I don’t do a home visit, it won’t get done and I’ll be out of compliance. Not ok.

Not much left for us to do! Our date is November 9th. I just need to go get a garter, dress for the rehearsal, put names on placecards for our seating arrangements and pick up one more gift for the groomsmen. Other than that, everyone flies in next Thursday, getting nails done Friday morning, rehearsal and dinner Friday night and then the big day! Stress level is so/so. I'm relaxed but i think next week will be a whole lot of running around. Where are you in your planning? Smiley smile

Save meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. LOL. Had some issues with my florist/decorator right now that caused a price to double and trying to get that resolved. Wedding date is 11/23/19

1: Other than that, final meetings with my caterer, videographer and photographer are nearing

2: Finishing up my alterations, hopefully done by 11/16

    3. Finish up my seating chart/programs

    4. Decide on a rehearsal dinner spot

What are you going to wear to the rehearsal? Also are you assigning seats or just tables and letting people take their own escort card? I’m still deciding on that. I think all the planning and arrangements are taken care of, just making final payments and crying a little lol

What are you putting in your welcome baskets? I keep going back and forth in whether I should do it or let it go.

Since we are putting them in hotel rooms (and there is already shampoo and conditioner there), we are doing some snacks and a little "hangover kit" that will include some advil, tums, mints, water bottle, Gatorade chews, and bandaids.

I am just wearing a dress. Nothing fancy just wanting something new to wear. As for the seats, our venue requires assigned seating as we are doing 3 different plated options and the staff needs to know who and where to serve each meal to. If they didn't require this, we would've just done assigned tables and let people take an escort card. And we are also taking care of final payments this week. That part makes me cry a bit lol

My wedding is the 16th, and I'm excited for the marriage but nervous for the wedding day and how well or not everything comes together.

Still need to make handfasting cords, do a practice run of putting together the table decor, finalize details with the dj and caterer, and write some thank you cards.

I'd also like to lose 4 pounds since my dress isn't fitting as well as it did last month, but I'm worried it's too late. Smiley cry

Good luck with your worksheets, Peggy, I hope your wedding is amazing!
