Absolutely phenomenal
Pierre’s Catering was phenomenal. We got nothing but amazing feedback from our guests about how great the food was, and we couldn’t agree more. Pierre and Jason are wonderful to work with. We were able to get all our dishes, and linens from them as well. Nice to have a one stop shop. On top of it all, Pierre personally went around to our guests and checked in and with his fun personality it was a nice touch.Pierre’s Catering was phenomenal. Hire Pierre!
Pierre and his catering company did a WONDEFUL job for our wedding on 8.15.21 in Malibu, CA. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the food was, both in taste and presentation! Everyone was also very impressed with how kind, attentive, and fun Pierre and his staff were. Pierre really does go out of his way to make sure his clients are well taken care of and does so at a great rate compared to other caterers. Amazing!!!
Pierre and Jason catered my wedding last month and it was nothing short of amazing, especially since he was able to pull everything together in less than a month, which seems to be a common COVID wedding scenario. The food was prepared on site, which means it was so fresh and delicious! His staff was so attentive and made sure my groom and I were always taken care of first, and then always made round to the guests. Pierre supplied the table setting, the bar set up, and the sweetheart table, but he also has tables and chairs if needed. All of my guests have complimented the food and the services, saying it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had! All COVID safety precautions were also taken, which allowed everyone to relax and feel comfortable. We are so happy with Pierre's services and personally, he is just the sweetest! 100% recommend!Pierre and Jason catered my wedding last month and it was nothing short of amazing, especially since he was able to pull everything together in less than a month, which seems to be a common COVID wedding scenario. Pierre is A One Stop Shop!
Pierre was a wonderful addition to our magical wedding day! My husband and I got married Sept 7th at Malibu West Beach Club. Pierre did a great job and bringing our vision to life and spoiled us on the wedding day with care and attention. The food was delicious (Salmon is amazing!) His staff was attentive and reliable. Overall, we are pleased with Pierre and his catering / day of coordinator services!

Delicious Food and Impressive Selection of Rentals
We hired Pierre for rentals and as our caterer for our August wedding after reviewing our venue's (Malibu West Beach Club) preferred vendor list, and we were very happy with how things turned out. We did a tasting and were impressed with the quality of the food choices. Pierre and his chef even created a custom calzone appetizer for us that we really enjoyed. I was very impressed with Pierre's ability to add anything we wanted to our menu and make additions with no hesitation. I agree with other reviews that communication and the contract were a bit disorganized (I'm very type A), but because of the Yelp reviews and our venue lead's praise, we had no issues using Pierre.
Everyone loved the food and had plenty. We wanted to make sure people had enough food to compliment our heavily-used open bar, and they definitely did. Also, special thanks to Pierre's team for putting our cake together (not their job) when our cake company sent a total moron to drop off the cake (he was supposed to assemble it). Lastly, every rental that was included was great-looking and complimented our wedding's aesthetic perfectly. From start to finish he was perfect. He helped us with the menu, the tasting, plates,silverware, linens, serving pieces, tables and even recommended who to use for heaters and dance floor.
They arrived on time and took care of absolutely everything. They cleaned up and left everything like they weren’t even there. Fantastic food
Everyone at our wedding raved about Pierre’s food. We opted for a slight differentiation from that of the menu options (Coq au Vin) and they were so yummy especially his mini beef Wellington’s - simply scrumptious! Guests are still raving about the food!

Let me start by saying Pierre and his staff were amazing!!! We used him to rent everything we needed for our wedding as well as provide staff through out the entire day. Absolutely no complaints from us or our guests. The staff were very professional and on top of every little detail you could think of; we noticed napkins were needed at the tables and without a beat, one of his staff members brought napkins to all the tables. Throughtout the reception, he and his staff were constantly checking in on us and our guests. Pierre knows the venues in the area so well that he is able to set you up with what you need without you having to worry about a thing. Pricing is very fair, if not below average, and the quality of items rented were excellent.

We booked Pierre right away without a tasting because we trusted his reviews! Pierre met us out at the venue to do a walk-through and we went to his warehouse a few months before the wedding. He helped us choose table linens, color styles, and presentation materials. He was so helpful and pleasant to work with. Wedding planning can be stressful at times but after meeting with Pierre we felt less anxious and more excited for the wedding day. Wow! What an amazing experience with Pierre and his catering team for our wedding. Not only was the food fantastic, service incredible, the venue set up beautiful, but he also became a fashion designer when my wedding dress impeded my dancing!
From our first phone call with Pierre, you can feel his enthusiasm for making your event amazing. We went in for a tasting and decided that his food and reassurance that he would do everything to make the event awesome meant he was the caterer for us. His e-mail correspondence and contract lacked a little finesse, which you will see when you hire him, however, he is always available to chat on the phone.
On the day of the event at Malibu West Beach Club, everything went off without a hitch. The tables were set up beautifully, chairs were seamlessly moved after the ceremony, appetizers were brought to the bridal party down by the beach and the staff were always there to check on us. Service was impeccable and all of our guests raved about how delicious the food was. The fact that I didn't notice when tables had moved, drinks were topped up, food served, and plates cleared, just goes to show what a wonderful job they did.
Once the dancing started, Pierre even helped tie up my dress so I could boogie better on the dance floor! Pierre and his team did a wonderful job with planning, setup, serving, and clean up for our wedding. I would highly recommend him for any of your catering needs!!

Pierre will truly deliver on his promises and generously work with your budget. He assured us that he would be a wedding planner/caterer wrapped into one and he MORE than delivered on that. His experienced and kind way of taking charge of an overwhelming destination wedding put everyone at ease!! We had the added complication of rain at an outdoor venue, and he seamlessly transitioned it into a covered event so that we were all comfortable and dry though it was raining around us. We did not have the opportunity to schedule tastings, so we were completely unaware of what we would be getting as far as food quality. WE WERE SO IMPRESSED!! Our guests were delighted and kept complimenting the gourmet quality of the food and presentation. I cannot stress how delighted we were to get even more for our money than we could have imagined.
The entire team was a delight to have serving our guests and Pierre had such a knack for keeping things at a pace that allowed everyone to fully enjoy the ceremony, dinner, cake, and dancing and really just the overall wedding experience. Pierre is the best! We are so happy we hired him for our wedding. We had a tight budget, and he made it work, beyond our expectation. First of all, I wanted to say thank you soooo much for doing such an amazing and outstanding job catering for our wedding at Camarillo Ranch. Our guests looove the meatballs appetizers and dinner was also super yummy! Fresh and warm food! Presentation was very classy as well. Pierre's staff, omg, I cannot even say how thankful we are for them! They were sooooooo nice and attentive, their service was beyond Par! They were all so kind and provided us and all of our guests the best service. We love all of them!!!
Again, me and Joel cannot thank you enough for all the hardwork that you and your team did. We had such a great time during our wedding. Everything worked out the way we imagined, and more! I have been working with Pierre for a while now for my daughters wedding. We were referred to him by Jacqui at Malibu West Beach Club. He has been so accommodating to ALL of our needs. Always there for us at anytime we need questions answered or to make changes to the wedding. Pierre gave us lots of great ideas on how to save money here and there, and even gave us lots of upgrades complimentary. Months after our June 30 wedding, friends still comment to us how delicious the food was at our reception! Pierre is a brilliant chef. Like any true artist, his clerical skills often leave a lot to be desired. You or your coordinator will have to be very on top of all details and contracts. I read several reviews that really slammed Pierre's lack of communication skills, but that did not deter me from hiring him, nor should it you. As I'm typing this, my husband is expounding on how tender and perfect the steak was and that his West Indian grandmother still mentions the delicious fish (and she would know!) In addition, Pierre offers an impressive selection of rentals, and therein lies the real value. You can't go wrong with Pierre's catering!!! I work in the wedding business and when I got engaged I didn't think twice who I wanted to do our catering. His food is out of this world and he bends over backwards for you. My wedding was perfect.

Going with Pierre’s Catering Company is the absolute best and most important decision you will ever make. This is an understatement. OUR WEDDING WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT PIERRE, JASON, AND THEIR TEAM!
Let me get the important stuff out of the way first: THE FOOD. The food looks gorgeous and tastes delicious. From the minute our Hors d'oeuvres came out people were blown away by the presentation and came to find out they were delicious. A few of our guests may have stalked a few of the waiters for the coconut shrimp. When it came to the buffet, everyone loved the food. The filet rosemary and stuffed chicken were cooked to perfection. The side dishes were so well made and admired. The presentation of the buffet was simply beautiful and professionally decorated and also complemented the food. THEIR FOOD WAS SO GOOD, THE NEXT DAY THE GUESTS STAYING AT OUR HOTEL VISITED OUR SUITE TO EAT SOME OF OUR LEFTOVERS!
The set-up of the dining room was breathtaking! Our beachside venue was accentuated with gorgeous white draped tables and colorful linens provided by Pierre. All of the rentals, tableware, linens, and decorations are owned by the company and they really made our wedding look wonderful.
Service with Pierre’s is first class. Everyone on staff was very attentive to our guests. They served, set up, and cleaned up with a smile and accommodated everyone. Jason, who was both in charge and our coordinator, took care of me and my bride and made sure we were set on food, drinks, and anything we needed. Jason was the MVP of the night for sure. The staff was even kind enough to seek out our bridal party during our photoshoot to make sure they were good with Hors d’oeuvres and drinks. The staff went above and beyond!
Overall, Pierre’s Catering Company is the only choice for your event. During the planning stages, Jason and Pierre were helpful with refining the menu, determining appropriate quantities, and tweaking recipes to match our taste and vision. They gave advice on what would work well together and catered to our crowd, including finding gluten free alternatives. The food was absolutely delicious!
On the day of, Jason and his staff were professional, accommodating, and kind. It unexpectedly rained, so we were delayed and had to set up a tent. Jason remained patient and reassured me they would get everything done, even with the added time restraints. In fact, throughout the entire night, he told me not to worry and to enjoy myself— advice a host loves to hear. In the end, everything was on time, and my guests and I had a blast.
The food was high quality and reasonably priced. We have guests who still rave about it. Jason and his staff left the kitchen very clean the night of and came back the next day to clean up the backyard. My apologies because this review is long over due since our spring wedding, but we could not go with out sharing our experience with Pierre's Catering Company.
I hired Pierre for our wedding in Ojai. We actually had only two months to plan our day due to family stuff, which was a lot of pressure. So needless to say I was static to find Pierre.
After finding him I found out a friend had worked with him before and he reassured us that Pierre was the man to hire for the job.
Pierre provided all the settings and serving as well as bar items which in fact was a tremendous help and weight lifted.
The moment Pierre and his staff arrived we knew we made the perfect choice. The staff was nice, accommodating, professional, hard working and looked great with nice uniforms that was perfect for my small but elegant wedding.
I had a designer work with the staff in setting up and she could not say enough nice things about everyone with Pierre's catering.
Now the food!!!! There was not one person who didn't rave about the food and menu. I was so happy considering I didn't have a chance to taste anything before the wedding.
Pierre is great in many ways but taking notes and organization isn't his strongest suit, so I recommend emailing everything you discuss with him just to be sure you can refer to it if needed.
I will say this, I recommend Pierre and his wonderful staff and look forward to hiring him again for our anniversary party next year.
