If you want wedding food that people actually enjoy (and talk about for weeks afterward), you have to hire Taste!. We were already fans of their restaurant in town, so we knew the food would be good, but they truly blew us away with their catering.

Wedding food can so often be cold or uninspired, but Taste! is the complete opposite. Their menu is amazing, and every single dish was delicious. The filet mignon was a hit for everyone who ordered it! One of the things I was most impressed by was the service. I’ve been to so many weddings where half the room is finished eating before the other half even gets their plates, but Taste! had the food out so quickly and efficiently.

The passed and stationary appetizers were a massive hit during cocktail hour—our guests couldn't get enough! From the quality of the ingredients to the speed of the staff, everything was 10/10. We are so glad we went with a local favorite. Highly recommend them to anyone who wants to ensure their guests leave happy and full!

From the very moment we walked into our tasting, I just knew we’d found the perfect caterer. As total food lovers, we had pretty high expectations — and let me tell you, they absolutely crushed it! Every dish was incredible, and our guests still can’t stop raving about how amazing the food was. It was seriously a highlight of the whole wedding.
We’re about two hours from SLO, but we make it a point to stop by their restaurant whenever we’re in town — not just because their catering menu is out of this world, but their restaurant menu is next level too! The flavors, the presentation, the creativity — everything is top-notch.
We keep hearing guests talk about how delicious everything was, and honestly, it’s no surprise. If you want food that will wow your crowd and make your wedding unforgettable, this is the caterer you need.

Taste did an amazing job catering our wedding and exceeded our expectations. Everything from the staff to the food was incredible. The appetizers passed around during cocktail hour were a huge hit and the mac-n-cheese bar and chicken entrée were favorites of ours. Highly recommend!

My husband and I selected Taste! to cater our wedding, and it was the best decision we made! Kate was absolutely fantastic to work with, helping us curate the best meal for our guests, allowing us a couple different occasions to sample different appetizer + meal options, and just overall being extremely flexible and understanding with our ever-changing guest count. Kate helped answer a lot of my questions too on just general wedding related topics, helping me above and beyond just catering.

Given that our wedding was going on during the surge of COVID Delta variant, we had a lot of guests drop out of our wedding in the couple weeks leading up to the big day. I'm seriously so impressed with how professional and easy to work with Kate and her team were during all of it, allowing me to maintain a bit of sanity as I stressing with the fluctuating guest count.

The food itself during the wedding was incredible, I had so many of my guests come up to me after dinner or reach out after the wedding asking who we had to cater. We opted for the buffet option, and selected our menu to include the French Cut chicken breast, Butternut Squash Ravioli, Scalloped Potatoes, Green Beans, House Salad, and Roasted Brussels with Goat Cheese...all of which were top notch. For passed appetizers during cocktail hour, we did passed smoked sausages, wonton crisps, stuffed mushrooms and a large charcuterie, antipasto & artisan cheese board (see images). I can't talk up the food enough - it was seriously fantastic.

Lastly - the Taste! staff is just all around great. From serving and clearing plates, to bartending, they were all really wonderful to work with.

We had a wonderful experience with Taste Craft Eatery! The coordinator Kate was very professional and responsive; any questions or concerns I had were quickly addressed, even the e-mails with a 1000 questions and my horrible indecisiveness, she was always so resourceful and patient. The staff on-site was friendly and unremarkable and did an excellent job cleaning up the venue after the wedding. Kate also helped me put together a wonderful menu, and assisted me with decisions on the dishes, and bar menu options, thank you! The food itself was absolutely fantastic and got rave reviews from our guests (still do, especially from Grandma!). Chef Whitney is such a gem, we had an appetizer idea that she brought to life and still makes our mouth water at just the thought of it. My favorite food is mac n cheese and really all I cared about food wise at our wedding, was actually my deciding factor for working with Taste, SO GOOD! The overall cost was so reasonable, we are incredibly lucky to have found Taste! Kate, Chef Whitney and the whole Taste team are amazing to work with and wish we lived closer so could work with them more or even visit the restaurant more! We would absolutely recommend Taste Craft Eatery as a caterer and look forward to our next trip to the restaurant.

We cannot say enough about working with Taste! The food was incredible, even on wedding day as a buffet. It looked and tasted just as good as when it came straight from the kitchen during our restaurant tastings! We heard as much from many guests too (“best food I’ve ever had at a wedding” was a common response)! In addition (and honestly most importantly), Kate was AMAZING to work with. From the very first time we met with her, I knew my wedding day would be flawless thanks to her. She is personable, professional and extremely thoughtful. From the get go she was asking questions and solving problems (before I even thought of them!), such as how to serve ice cream sandwiches (and keep them frozen beforehand) on a 90 degree day to 120 people. I was confident that I would have no stress on my wedding day with her in charge of things. Their full service staff saved us money and took so much stress off of us so we could truly enjoy our day to the fullest. You will not regret booking with Taste, we cannot recommend them enough!!

We knew we were going to book Taste for our wedding by the time we got to the salad portion of the tasting. Their food is amazing and so is their staff, especially Elaine. Definitely one of my favorite vendors!

The food at our wedding was phenomenal. I have eaten at Taste's restaurant before so I knew the food would be good, but their catering manager Elaine was the one who really solidified the decision that they were the right caterer for us. Elaine has been in the business for many years and combined with her outgoing personality you know that she's going to handle your event and do it right. We had a wonderful tasting at the restaurant to finalize our menu and the food on the wedding day tasted exactly the same, no surprises. We had a cheese display, passed appetizers, and a buffet. In addition to the food, all of the Taste event staff were professional and so lovely to be around. The bartender even remembered everyone's drink orders the next time they came to the bar. I would highly recommend Taste to anyone looking for a caterer for their event.

Elaine was such a pleasure to work with for my 7/15/17 wedding! She was very helpful leading up to the day and personally made sure everything was in order, including helping with rentals. We used to frequent the restaurant so were already familiar with their amazing food but they went above and beyond on the day of. Everything tasted great and we got tons of compliments from our guests. All of the staff they had were also awesome. We couldn't recommend Taste enough if you want great food for a reasonable cost.
