I WISH I COULD GIVE 10 STARS!!! My daughter's wedding at Highholdborne was spectacular in every way! June and Alexandra knocked themselves out to accomodate us in every way. They are lovely, kind ladies who attended to every detail of the wedding with great care and love. You can tell they love producing beautiful weddings. All the guests were amazed at the beauty of the home and its decor, not to mention the beautiful outdoor ceremoney with the vista of Loudon County. Both the interior and exterior are a photographer's dream with the house's high ceilings, great lighting and gold-accented decor. The opportunities outdoor shots is incredible with the house sitting at the top of a hill.It is the perfect venue for a classy, elegant yet intimate wedding. June of Highholdborne Estate did all the florals and they were exquisite. We were all raving over their beauty and uniqueness. June has impeccable taste and we were happy to give her free rein. Thank you, June and Alexandra for going above and beyond and giving my daughter a wedding beyond her dreams!!!Highholdborne's reply:

Highholdborne is a dream
We are beyond pleased with our Highholdborne experience. The venue is high up in the hills and has a stunning view of Virginia Wine Country. Every moment starting with the bridal suite and ending with the sparkler exit was so beautiful and picturesque.
June (the venue owner) was responsive and helpful the entire year of planning. She answered every question and relieved any concern, making planning so easy and low stress, which is more than any bride-to-be could ask for. Alex, the venue's day-of-coordinator, had every moment choreographed perfectly. Her response to any day-of hiccups (e.g. late vendor arrivals) was professional and flawless. As we had several boxes of decorations and other wedding amenities, I had planned on helping with the setup. I learned the day of that the onsite team would handle this, giving me the relief of feeling like a guest at my wedding.
The team was so flexible the day of the wedding. We asked for a fall wedding, and unexpectedly received fall-like temperatures after a week of 80+ degree days. As chilly evening temperatures were forecast days before the wedding, June was able to secure a much needed and appreciated heater for the tent. She also let our guests inside the manor for the cocktail hour, which was originally planned to be outdoors. These two things made such an impact to the day, and we are so grateful for their hospitality.

Before I made the decision to book the venue, she treated me like part of the family, introducing me to her family and chatting with me like an old friend. After booking the venue, she connected with me via text, phone call, email, you name it to answer any questions, regardless of the time of day. She's a dream to work with and makes the bride truly feel like the princess I've always dreamed of feeling during this momentous time in my life. If she wasn't just a dream, the venue boasts STUNNING 360-degree views of the countryside and Blue Ridge Mountains. You feel like you're in your own slice of Heaven when you're standing on the front porch and staring out over the rolling hills. It's your own peaceful sanctuary-perfect for your wedding day. Speaking of sanctuary, Highholdborne isn't a wedding factory; they don't churn out wedding after wedding each day of the weekend like I've found a lot of other venues do. It's all about you, your day, and your happiness. June makes sure of that. She truly gives you a 5-star experience as every bride deserves. If you're looking for a personalized, breathtaking venue and team who truly care about making your wedding flawless, then go to June and Highholdborne. You won't regret it!! User2611820 Sent on 05/17/2016Highholdborne was an amazing venue. I couldn't have hoped for a more ideal setting for our wedding reception. The view is breathtaking. It is truly a special spot in Loudoun County wine country.
I had a tented reception off of the Manor House with cocktail hour in the house which gave the occasion a real personal touch that guests really enjoyed!
I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for an elegant and unique reception or ceremony venue with lots of options to personalize! -

At Highholdborn you will experience the most amazing views. With rolling hills and clear skies, you will see half the planet from the grand dining room terrace. June and her daughters Alex and Ashley work so well together making the property a peice of art. I have visited many venues but this one suck in my head like non other. June also does florals and will help you have the perfect wedding at Highholdborn!
