  Harry was absolutely AMAZING to work with through this whole process. Not only did we work with him with our engagement pictures which came out INCREDIBLE, but he was there with us all day on our wedding! Many of your photographers will leave after a certain amount of time, but Harry is your guy until you tell him to leave. We did a night shoot the night of the wedding which was an incredible time! I can't wait to see the work he creates with our wedding photos like he did with our engagement photos! I absolutely LOVE his work! Highly recommend him!

  Harry Vitanis was an absolute joy to work with before and on our wedding day. He went above and beyond in every way. Along with being our photographer, he also acted as our day-of coordinator because he is so experienced with weddings and our particular venue, keeping us on schedule and remaining sensitive to when I (the bride) needed a break. He was so friendly and accommodating the entire time, I felt comfortable knowing that Harry had everything under control for us.
  
  Harry is such a hard worker – he arrived at about 9:30am (Friday) when the bridal party started getting ready, and he did not leave until about 1:30am (Saturday) after our wedding had ended and we finished our post-reception bride-and-groom creative shots that he offers. Harry will do anything to get that perfect shot. During our outside pictures with the bridal party, he climbed through the bushes and leaned over a fence to get the best angle of all 20 of us. And during the reception, I saw him standing on chairs and even laying on the ground to get the best angles of all of our friends and family dancing. It was awesome!
  
  We thoroughly enjoyed working with Harry and would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding. He is a true artist who takes pride in his work and will do whatever it takes to give you the wedding photos of your dreams! Thank you, Harry!

  Harry was absolutely an exceptional asset to our wedding experience. You can tell he really loves what he does, and he’s not just in it for the money. He’s got a great eye for shots others might not even think to take, and his contemporary art engagement and wedding photo books really will be a unique piece that people will actually want to look at (he does offer the “traditional” style too, if that’s more your thing).
  
  For the wedding shoot, he was there from start (8AM – with the bride and bridesmaids) to finish (about 12AM), and seemingly never seemed to take a break. He dressed professionally, got some absolutely fantastic shots throughout the reception and every single person we talked to after the event had only extremely positive things to say about Harry.
  
  He also did our engagement session, which was more of the same – extremely professional behavior and outright passion and talent for photography. People are blown away by our engagement photo book, as the shots, combined with the contemporary art style that Harry does, make it something that is far more exciting and dynamic than what most are used to.
  
  Needless to say – we’ll be highly recommending Harry to any couple we know looking to get married, as the job he did with our wedding was absolutely perfect.

  Harry is absolutely wonderful! My fiancé and I were searching for a long time, trying to find a photographer who worked well with us in order to capture our story. Let me say, our search completely stopped after we met Harry.
  
  He is an artist, completely focused on delivering the best of the best in terms of quality and originality. He has a beautiful and keen eye, always looking for new and creative ideas while also staying within the classic images that brides and grooms love. Our Love Story engagement photo session was so much fun and I definitely recommend taking advantage of that service!   My son & his finance now live in Texas, but will be married in Michigan. Since I’m in Michigan, I’m the one involved in researching photographers, etc. Although I’d already visited several photographers, once I met Harry Vitanis, I knew I had found an exceptional photographer. He was the one! Both my husband and I could tell from our initial meeting with Harry, that he was very passionate at what he does and that this is just not a “job” to him. The images we saw were absolutely beautiful and his design work was so creative! He really cares and it shows. Harry is also very accommodating and working with him has been wonderful. We took advantage of the Engagement Session where he recreated the actual story of their engagement through his images. The Engagement Album is fabulous! It brought tears to my eyes, as it really brought the story of their engagement to life. I love that the images are not “posed”, but are very natural looking and my son’s and his fiance’s emotions and feelings can be seen in the pictures. This album is truly something special. I am looking forward to the Wedding Album in 2015. I will definitely use Harry Vitanis when my daughters marry. On a scale of 1-10, we all feel Harry is definitely a 10+++!

  Working with Harry was a great experience from start to finish. He was on top of everything making the process easy and painless. He sets up a timeline for the day of the wedding to make sure every moment is captured and follows along a smooth process for finishing the album design. We chose Harry because my sister had used him a few years ago, we would highly recommend him!

  Harry Vitanis was a pleasure to work with for our August 23rd wedding. We had a backyard wedding on a beautiful summer day and he captured everything beautifully. He met with us several times prior to our wedding day, making sure to check the natural lighting in the backyard, shadows, sunset, etc....in order to be prepared for photos. He did a wonderful job of capturing some posed family photos that we wanted but was even more wonderful in capturing many spontaneous shots that were so important to both of us. He met with us several times, was clear in his communications with us, and was prompt in getting our proofs to us following the wedding. We are 6 weeks post wedding and have already picked our proofs and are awaiting a layout of our album. We look forward to the final result!!!

  Harry is a very personable and professional artist. He created a one of a kind album for us. On the wedding day he was organized and we had fun creating the memories with him. He felt like a part of the family.
  We hardly noticed him during the wedding yet he had a fantastic selection of photos for us to choose from, each as nice as the other.

He was dedicated to us for the entire day (early morning Saturday to early morning Sunday) and he took the time to help us design our wedding album with his expertise and opinion, but he wasn't outspoken he waited for us to ask for his help so that he wouldn't interfere with our decisions. The thing that was the hardest was selecting pictures for our album because there were so many great pictures!

  Our wedding is just around the corner but I have to say that Harry’s engagement photos were amazing!!!! He was extremely easy to work with and was willing to meet at a location that was special to us. He helped the two of us relax and have a very enjoyable experience and every picture he took is different. We have traditional photos, we have photos with fun/natural poses of us, and we have artistic/edgy pictures that we absolutely love! The best part is that Harry captured the unique aspects of my fiancé and I as a couple in every shot. He wasn’t putting us in awkward positions because that was the routine… he truly captured our own personalities in each picture. Picking out engagement photos was really hard due to all of the incredible choices… I can only imagine how hard it will be when picking out our wedding photos!
  
  If you want a quality photographer with your best interests at heart and who is willing to go the extra mile, go with Harry Vitanis. I highly recommend him.

  Harry was our photographer at the Inn at St. Johns on June 24,2011. We had been looking for the perfect photographer for our wedding and Harry was what we were looking for. His work blew our minds! He truly loves what he does and his photos are absolutely stunning. His album is the best I have ever seen when looking at other couples albums. Harry worked from morning to night with us and was nonstop the whole night. I got so many compliments on how hard he worked and never sat down the whole night they said. I cannot say enough about Harry. He was outstanding! My husband and I could not be happier with our photos and are so excited to show our album and photos to family and friends. If you want your photos to be absolutely beautiful and breathtaking, hire harry. He does the best work and you will be very pleased with the photos at the end. Highly recommend!

  Harry was amazing for our wedding! We had a full day planned out and Harry never complained once about running around. He started at 5:00am Saturday and finished up at 2:30am Sunday. His ability to see the little details is amazing. I'm so glad he was there to help our day go just a little better. He is a true professional there for the customer not himself. He is the full package.

  Harry is a very professional and talented photographer. The images he took of our wedding are breathtakingly beautiful. He has a great eye for what looks good in photos and is very easy to work with. We felt that he went above and beyond what we would expect of a wedding photographer.

  Harry photographed our wedding on October 2, 2010 at Meadowbrook Hall. He was with us on our wedding day all day and all night. He helped us feel very comfortable and his photos are gorgeous. We felt that he really captured every moment of our day and my husband and I absolutely LOVE our wedding album! It turned out great and we can't stop looking at it. :) We really appreciate all of Harry’s hard work and we will always remember our perfect special day because of his beautiful photos. Highly recommend!!

  Harry photographed our wedding on October 2, 2010 at Meadowbrook Hall. He was with us on our wedding day all day and all night. He helped us feel very comfortable and his photos are gorgeous. We felt that he really captured every moment of our day and my husband and I absolutely LOVE our wedding album! It turned out great and we can't stop looking at it. :) We really appreciate all of Harry’s hard work and we will always remember our perfect special day because of his beautiful photos. Highly recommend!!

  Harry photographed our wedding at the Inn at St. Johns on 9/24/2010. He was highly recommended by St. Johns as well as The Dearborn Inn (I went to a bridal show at the Dearborn Inn and received wonderful feedback from the event manager there). Harry was energetic throughout the evening and was very professional with our guests. We received many compliments from friends and family about him. He arrived early to start photographing and ended his night with us when we were through with him. If we had any questions or concerns, Harry was very quick to respond via email. We usually heard back from him in the same day. He loves what he does and it shows in his pictures. I am so very pleased and excited to show our wedding album. Everyone who has seen it tells me, and I'm quoting, "This is the best album I've ever seen". Hiring Harry as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding.

  Harry was my photographer on August 28, 2010 at the Inn at St. John's. Anyone getting married there should try to have Harry as their photographer because he knows all the secrets of getting the best possible shots at that location! I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with the job he did! Other wedding guests were even commenting to me during and after the wedding day about how hard Harry was working, his exquisite attention to detail, how pleasant/professional he was, and how impressed they were with him overall! Strangely, my parents attended another wedding this weekend at the same venue (just 1 week after mine), and indicated how apparent the difference in quality of photography was (with Harry far outshining the other photography team). Harry was initially recommended to me by my aunt, who worked as a wedding photographer in Metro Detroit for many years before moving out of state. Although his rates may seem a little higher than some other photographers, I decided to make this my "splurge" item in the wedding budget. I could not be happier, as his work is really worth the cost!!! He sent us a few preview images just days after the wedding, and they are truly spectacular!! Harry worked non-stop from 10am to after 11pm, and was still willing to stay later! I give him my highest recommendation!

  Harry was our photographer for our wedding in December 2006. He delivers high quality work. For us, he consulted prior on our style, agenda, wish list. He captured both traditional and journalistic poses that we will treasure forever. He didn't meet a beat; he was great with us, our family, the wedding party, other vendors, and guests to make the days photography shots a wonderful experience. His images were high quality, creative. We loved his work so much that we recently hired him again to capture our son's baptism and a family session prior in the same park where our engagement photos were captured. I highly recommend Harry.
