I cannot recommend Teresa from Mane and Glow enough! From the moment I reached out, she was incredibly proactive and friendly with communication, making the entire booking process seamless. I felt at ease immediately, knowing I was in good hands. On the day of my elopement, Teresa’s calming presence put me at ease. She worked her magic and did both my hair and makeup in just 90 minutes — at 6am, no less! Despite the early hour, she was so efficient, and the results were nothing short of flawless. I couldn’t believe how perfectly everything came together in such a short amount of time, and it was even more impressive considering how early it was. My friends and family were so impressed when I told them how she managed to do everything in just 90 minutes! I knew the basics of what I wanted, but for the areas where I was unsure (like eyeshadow and fake lashes), Teresa’s knowledge and advice were spot on. She knew exactly what would complement my features and style, giving me a soft, glowy look while still maintaining a natural, "me" feel. My hair was flawless as well! The price was extremely reasonable as well - especially where compared to other hair and makeup artists in the Charleston area! Working with Teresa was an absolute dream. I felt so confident and beautiful, and I’m so grateful to have had her be a part of my special day. I can't wait to book her again in the future!

Updos for I Dos provided hair and makeup services for me and my family/bridal party on my wedding day in March. We worked with Gabby for hair, and with Savannah for makeup, and both were fantastic! At my trial we tried what I originally had in mind, and they both listened to my thoughts and adjusted for the day of the wedding, so that my hair and makeup looked just how I wanted it. I definitely felt like I was in good hands. They both did a wonderful job on everyone that day, and we are so grateful to them! I would definitely recommend Updos for I Dos to anyone getting married in the Charleston area.

Run don’t walk to get on Amy P.’s schedule!!  Not only is Amy technically trained and professionally certified, she’s Charleston born and bred, and has many years of experience as a professional and very talented make up artist. I can’t tell you the difference having Amy do my makeup made for my son’s wedding, reception, videos, photos, etc. My mid 50’s MOG face was pristine, glowing and still looked natural. Nothing moved, nothing smudged from 11am-11:30pm. She knows what she’s doing and she does it with ease. I received so many compliments all afternoon and evening. I’m still getting compliments days later so I had to leave a review to let others know! She is 110% worth every penny. Book her now for your big day — you’ll be so glad you did!

I can’t recommend Holly Gritti Glam enough! Booking Holly and her team was honestly one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. From the very beginning, Holly was so responsive, professional, and genuinely wonderful to work with. She made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. On the wedding day, we had Jenn and Lexi, and they were both absolutely amazing. They made me and all of my girls feel so beautiful, confident, and comfortable the entire morning. Lexi is incredibly talented. Every hairstyle looked perfect, and every curl and bun stayed in place all night long through all the dancing. Jenn worked absolute magic with makeup. She covered my redness so flawlessly while still making my skin look natural and glowing. Everyone looked and felt so radiant and beautiful. Not only are they all insanely talented, but they also brought such a fun, calm energy to the morning, which made getting ready even more special. We got so many compliments on our hair and makeup, and I truly could not have been happier with how everything turned out. So grateful for Holly, Jenn, and Lexi!

Taylor was absolutely wonderful! She did my mom’s and grandma’s hair for my wedding, and they both looked stunning. Her hair skills are amazing—she really took the time to ask the right questions and make sure she understood their vision. On top of that, she was so friendly, warm, and professional. I used Vanity salon for my wedding day hair and make up. I was so pleased with how it all turned out and so was everyone else in the bridal party. They were patient and kind and did an excellent job! Thank you!

Peggy did an amazing job on my bridal makeup! I looked like myself but with just a little more glam which was exactly what I was looking to achieve! Peggy also made my bridesmaids and mother look so beautiful! Peggy does not apply the same look to each person, she takes each individual’s features as their own canvas. Peggy was informative and easy to converse with and I’m so happy with how my bridal makeup looked and lasted all night! Thank you, Peggy!
