Updos for I Dos provided hair and makeup services for me and my family/bridal party on my wedding day in March. We worked with Gabby for hair, and with Savannah for makeup, and both were fantastic! At my trial we tried what I originally had in mind, and they both listened to my thoughts and adjusted for the day of the wedding, so that my hair and makeup looked just how I wanted it. I definitely felt like I was in good hands. They both did a wonderful job on everyone that day, and we are so grateful to them! I would definitely recommend Updos for I Dos to anyone getting married in the Charleston area.

Run don’t walk to get on Amy P.’s schedule!!  Not only is Amy technically trained and professionally certified, she’s Charleston born and bred, and has many years of experience as a professional and very talented make up artist. I can’t tell you the difference having Amy do my makeup made for my son’s wedding, reception, videos, photos, etc. My mid 50’s MOG face was pristine, glowing and still looked natural. Nothing moved, nothing smudged from 11am-11:30pm. She knows what she’s doing and she does it with ease. I received so many compliments all afternoon and evening. I’m still getting compliments days later so I had to leave a review to let others know! She is 110% worth every penny. Book her now for your big day — you’ll be so glad you did!

If you need to look radiant, confident and glowing...Cheryl Quinn is your artist. She listens, she understands, she excuses JOY and happiness and all while making you feel like a beauty queen. wish she lived closer-would hire her monthly lol -Do not hesitate do spend the money and hire Cheryl. You will not be disappointed. She is just one of a kind. :)

Emily is amazing ! She is always super flexible and really aims to find the best look for me. She did an amazing job for my hair/makeup for my engagement pictures and can't wait to see what she does for the BIG DAY !

I truly cannot say enough good things about Galya and her team. I worked with Kim and Amy for hair and makeup for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding day, and the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. I honestly can’t even conjure the words to describe how amazing they are. They have such a gift, and I feel so lucky I got to experience it firsthand. I honestly couldn’t get over how good I looked - they absolutely nailed the glam. But beyond the flawless execution, they were such a joy to work with. They made me feel so comfortable and brought such a fun, easy energy to the day, which made the whole experience even more special. I only wish I lived in CHS so I could book them again and again. Could not recommend them more.

The ladies at Paloosh Salon are absolute artists! They made myself and my bridal party look and feel like a million bucks for my September wedding, and no one spent an arm and a leg to do it!!! And they were able to keep us ahead of schedule for the day but no one felt rushed! Shelcie took a very vague idea for what I wanted for my hair style and turned it into a gorgeous updo that worked perfectly with my dress. It was better than I could have imagined, held all night, and looked stunning! Lindsey did my airbrush makeup and she rocked it! It was the perfect blend of glammed up with out being over done! The makeup looked fresh all night! The salon itself is super nice. They had an area just for us where we could set up some snacks and drinks. We were taken care of by the entire staff and were so comfortable! I cannot say enough good things about Paloosh! You will not regret going with Paloosh!

Rachel Wisnefski did not only do my make up and my bridesmaids' make up, but also my grandmother and my mom's. Everyone looked great! I had a destination wedding in South Carolina and was really worried about finding someone I liked in a place I wasn't familiar with. I'm so glad I found Your Day Make-Up's website!

Amy was so professional but most importantly creative. She was able to help me with hair extensions as I don’t live in SC and sent me a sample to try. She translated exactly how I wanted to look and the effect made me feel more beautiful than I have ever felt. She was calm and on time, do not hesitate to book her brilliance. I only wished I lived closer!
