Newport brides!! I can't recommend Kate enough! She did my hair and makeup for my May 2025 rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Kate arrived early on both days, ready to jump right in.

She was so friendly and immediately made me feel at ease. Not only is she incredibly talented at what she does, but she's also just fun to be around. She brought the most calming energy which was exactly what I needed in those moments. Kate got along with all of my girls (including my mom LOL) and made the whole experience stress free and fun.

Kate listened to what I wanted for my looks, and was able to pull off of inspiration photos that I showed her. What she created was truly better than what I could've ever imagined! We did a half up half down "high pony" for the rehearsal dinner which was SO fun. I got complimented all night. For the wedding day we did a more traditional twisted half up half down, and it was perfect! It worked so beautifully with my dress and veil.

My hair and makeup were flawless and lasted all night, and I felt like such a princess!! Kate made my day. Do yourself a favor and book her if you can!!

I truly could not be happier with my experience working with Kate as my wedding hair & makeup artist! She is SO talented and she made the entire process a breeze. From the time I first met her for my engagement photos, to the trial, and finally to the wedding weekend - she is an absolute pro and she was able to easily translate my (kind of jumbled and often changing, haha) vision into the wedding hair & makeup look of my dreams. She is also incredibly kind and warm, and the entire getting ready part of the morning felt like hanging with an old friend. I absolutely loved my look and all of my bridesmaids/family members were also thrilled. I loved working with Kate for my wedding. From the initial makeup trial to the wedding day she was so easy to get along with, personable and so talented. I didn’t really have any requests and just had her do what she thought was best- and I LOVED my wedding look. She was very professional and extremely efficient- I’ve been in many weddings and the hair and make up has taken all day. Everything moved so smoothly and we got to start a little later in the morning. Even through the Charleston heat. And humidity. Followed by torrential rain in an outdoor venue, I loved my look throughout the entire day. She even came back after the ceremony to touch up makeup and put my hair up for the party. You can’t go wrong with Kate as your choice for hair and makeup.
