One of the most special parts of working with Cheryl was seeing the friendship she formed with my mom. It was such a treat and truly a delight to witness. And if that wasn’t enough, she even gifts a little treat to you and your bridesmaids when she’s finished. One of my bridesmaids forgot hers, and Cheryl went above and beyond, taking time out of her day to mail the gift to her out of state. I mean, it just doesn’t get better than that.

Cheryl is just a wonderful human being and she's so talented at what she does! She was so much fun to have around on the wedding day and during my makeup trial. She truly makes you feel and look like yourself, but elevated! My makeup lasted all night and I've never felt more beautiful. I had a trial with her months before the wedding and when she saw me on the wedding day with a tan and highlights she adjusted my makeup to match with ease!

She is my top choice for all of my clients for multiple reasons - her skill for makeup being an obvious reason, but her personality and overall demeanor are beyond compare.

I had been following Cheryl's work on instagram for YEARS like a total creep. She's the only makeup artist that I've seen in Charleston where her work didn't look over-done, but still so polished. I was lucky enough to book her for my wedding day and she was an absolute dream to work with! Mothers and bridesmaids all were blown away by how great they looked, but also by how comfortable and light the full face of makeup was. Plus it was all waterproof and she made sure to check multiple light sources to make sure the shade match was PERFECTION!

When choosing your vendors (especially the ones that work closely with the wedding party the day of) personality and skillset go hand-in-hand. The people you choose are an extension of your bridal party and it is important that they mesh well with the entire group. Cheryl obviously is someone who is extremely talented and has years of experience. But, she also has the most wonderful personality, which is something that cannot be taught. She is kind, fun, and calming which is exactly the type of person you want with you in the moments before you walk down the aisle. Cheryl was INCREDIBLE! As a bride that was nervous about getting my makeup done, as I wear very little day to day, Cheryl completely nailed my style! It was like a natural enhancement - she is such an artist & also just so fun to be around. Our entire bridal party looked stunning, and she stayed through pictures for final touch ups before the ceremony. Really goes above and beyond to make everyone feel their most beautiful selves - she was our hype girl all day!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for wedding makeup or for any time you need your makeup done. Cheryl did my makeup for my wedding, and she is AMAZING. Cheryl is such a pro and gave me exactly what I was looking for - a natural look that made my features pop. She uses high quality products and even included a makeup brush set for me to take home. She was available for as long as I needed her for touchups during pictures and after the ceremony - truly a makeup fairy godmother! Cheryl spent over an hour and a half with my during the trial run making sure that every single detail of my makeup was exactly what I wanted. My biggest concern when searching for a makeup artist, was that I was going to be contoured and caked in makeup so much so that I wouldn't even recognize myself--past experiences had slightly scarred me. Cheryl quickly eased my nerves by explaining how her philosophy with makeup was to enhance the already beautiful details of your face in a natural looking way. I was so ecstatic with how fresh my faced looked and felt on my wedding day. Cheryl is a true professional that also feels like one of your bridesmaids on your day. She was such a trooper starting at 7am and saying through our ceremony and pictures afterwards. She even came to the rescue when my veil was not staying in minutes before the ceremony! I cannot say enough good things about Cheryl!! You will love every minute spent with her. I know I did!
