Cheryl is just a wonderful human being and she's so talented at what she does! She was so much fun to have around on the wedding day and during my makeup trial. She truly makes you feel and look like yourself, but elevated! My makeup lasted all night and I've never felt more beautiful. I had a trial with her months before the wedding and when she saw me on the wedding day with a tan and highlights she adjusted my makeup to match with ease! -

Working in the wedding industry - I am introduced to some talented and lovely people. Cheryl Quinn is probably one of the people I feel luckiest to have come across. She is my top choice for all of my clients for multiple reasons - her skill for makeup being an obvious reason, but her personality and overall demeanor are beyond compare.
That being said - the moment I got engaged I knew I had to lock her in ASAP. I am one of those girls who "doesn't wear much makeup" so booking someone that would make me feel like ME was a no brainer. My friends and family are shocked when I tell them the first vendors that I booked were my hair and makeup team. But when you know you want the best of the best - you snag them. I knew Cheryl would make me feel beautiful, while also bringing the utmost joy to the room while my friends and I were getting ready.
She made me feel my absolute best throughout my entire wedding weekend (two ceremonies, a reception and a welcome party) and continues to make my clients feel beautiful weekend after weekend. Love this lady to pieces!! BOOK HER!!! -

Cheryl is the best in the business
I had been following Cheryl's work on instagram for YEARS like a total creep. She's the only makeup artist that I've seen in Charleston where her work didn't look over-done, but still so polished. I was lucky enough to book her for my wedding day and she was an absolute dream to work with! Mothers and bridesmaids all were blown away by how great they looked, but also by how comfortable and light the full face of makeup was. Plus it was all waterproof and she made sure to check multiple light sources to make sure the shade match was PERFECTION!
When choosing your vendors (especially the ones that work closely with the wedding party the day of) personality and skillset go hand-in-hand. The people you choose are an extension of your bridal party and it is important that they mesh well with the entire group. Cheryl obviously is someone who is extremely talented and has years of experience. But, she also has the most wonderful personality, which is something that cannot be taught. She is kind, fun, and calming which is exactly the type of person you want with you in the moments before you walk down the aisle. I will forever be recommending Cheryl and cannot thank her enough for making me look my best on the best day ever! Thank you!! -

Cheryl was INCREDIBLE! As a bride that was nervous about getting my makeup done, as I wear very little day to day, Cheryl completely nailed my style! It was like a natural enhancement - she is such an artist & also just so fun to be around. Our entire bridal party looked stunning, and she stayed through pictures for final touch ups before the ceremony. Really goes above and beyond to make everyone feel their most beautiful selves - she was our hype girl all day!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for wedding makeup or for any time you need your makeup done. I wish I could fly her out to Chicago for all my big days :) The absolute best!! -

Cheryl is magic. She is incredibly talented and you will enjoy every moment spent with her! Cheryl made me look and feel like my most beautiful self and went above and beyond to make sure I had any touch ups needed after photos prior to the wedding. One of the very first things Cheryl said to me was that her main focus was to create a more enhanced and confident version of her clients. In that moment I knew I had made one of the very best decisions, amongst the many, surrounding our big day. I wanted a very natural look and Cheryl completely knocked it out of the park. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and the best part, I felt like me. She really did enhance my features to help me feel the most confident version of myself. Cheryl stuck around for a first look with my dad, stayed with me through the first look with my husband (omg!) AND did touch ups before and after the ceremony - where I may or may not have cried a little, okay a lot :) I felt like a princess and celebrity all in one! She is not only incredibly talented but is such a pleasure and a joy to be around. You will leave your day thinking of any and every event you could have your makeup done again to experience Cheryl and her talent. I will forever and ever recommend! Thank you for everything Cheryl :) -

Her energy is contagious and she has an amazing ability to take the beauty that already exists and highlight it to make you feel fantastic! Cheryl is incredible, talented and so fun to work with. I had never had my makeup professionally done and she made my first experience easy and great. She listened to my wedding day look vision and executed it with complete ease. I walked away from my trial overjoyed with the look and felt confident she would make me look beautiful on the day of my wedding. She didn't try to force me to do anything I didn't want, didn't make me look overly dramatic, and continued to touch me up until I walked down the aisle. Cheryl put me at ease and made me feel like a queen. Cheryl is extremely professional and reliable. She even came to my rescue the day before the wedding when I had a powerful zit that wouldn't go away - she offered some great advice. Cheryl is a must for your glam squad. She was one of the best parts of my very special day. -

I am forever indebted to my wedding planner, Christina Baxter, for introducing me to the lovely Cheryl Quinn! She is the kindest soul with the talent of a true New York City high fashion alum. Cheryl spent over an hour and a half with my during the trial run making sure that every single detail of my makeup was exactly what I wanted. My biggest concern when searching for a makeup artist, was that I was going to be contoured and caked in makeup so much so that I wouldn't even recognize myself--past experiences had slightly scarred me. Cheryl quickly eased my nerves by explaining how her philosophy with makeup was to enhance the already beautiful details of your face in a natural looking way. I was so ecstatic with how fresh my faced looked and felt on my wedding day. Cheryl is a true professional that also feels like one of your bridesmaids on your day. She was such a trooper starting at 7am and saying through our ceremony and pictures afterwards. She even came to the rescue when my veil was not staying in minutes before the ceremony! I cannot say enough good things about Cheryl!! You will love every minute spent with her. I know I did! -

Cheryl did my makeup for my wedding day and she could not have been more perfect! She was amazing to work with and I recommend her highly. All day, she had an extremely calming, laid back attitude, even when responsible for beautifying a group of 12. My mother maintains that she has never had her makeup done as well in her life, and weeks later- I'm still being told by guests how beautiful all of the bridesmaids makeup was. I felt beautiful all night and Cheryl was kind enough to even follow us to the venue to make sure that I was picture perfect for picture time. She is amazing and I hope to work with her for future events in Charleston! -

AMAZING...Better than the rest!!
Cheryl did my make-up for my Bridal portrait and my wedding day. Cheryl is not only the most talented make-up artist I’ve EVER worked with; she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and makes you feel so comfortable and beautiful, while keeping you laughing the entire time. She has a way of bringing out your favorite or strongest features while still using the colors or styles you like to result in a gorgeous but very natural look. You still look like you, but the best most beautiful version of you that is magazine worthy, literally. Her incredible work experience, attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond is what makes her better than every other make-up artist out there. She was my saving grace for my Bridal portraits and on my wedding day. Not only did she consistently touch up my make up when it was needed, she helped to ensure my train, hair and veil were all picture perfect at all times!!! Not only did I gain a new go-to make-up artist for ALL occasions, I gained a new best friend!! I am so very grateful to have worked with her!! ❤️ -

Cheryl is amazing. She was a total pro that helped me feel at my best on my wedding day. I wanted to feel natural, fresh, and beautiful. And she helped with all those! My makeup was beautifully done and was flawless throughout the evening. I am so glad I found her. She did an incredible job on my sister as well.
Cheryl is not only talented but also is a great person. She was so wonderful to talk to and she felt like part of the wedding. I feel so lucky to have found her and highly recommend her. I wish I could have her with me everyday to hang with and do my makeup!! -

Cheryl was a dream to work with for my wedding day makeup. She was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process. She was amazing and so friendly and felt more like a friend hanging out with the rest of us girls while we excitedly talked about the big day ahead! When it came to makeup, she listened to exactly what everyone wanted (bridesmaids and moms included!) and did the most beautiful and natural looking work. I'm someone who was very self conscious about looking like I had heavy makeup on my wedding day; I wanted to enhance my natural features, but still look like myself and Cheryl went above and beyond! She has years of experience and it shows in her work. I would HIGHLY recommend her for your big day. -

I had a very large wedding party and Cheryl was incredible in working with me and each individual to make us feel beautiful and like ourselves. She made sure to understand everyone’s comfort level with event makeup and make them feel their best. My mom typically wears very little makeup (if any). Cheryl really listened to her and struck the perfect balance to highlight her natural beauty while making sure she was 100% comfortable.
Beyond her gorgeous and thoughtful work, she is wonderful company and was a true pleasure to work with. Was very happy to have Cheryl help make my wedding day the best I could imagine! -
