T tell you a little about me, I have been in business for 10 years and published in Charleston Living Magazine. Galya Makeup Artistry is also Google 5 Star Rated and a vendor at "The Big Fake Wedding Charleston 2021". I am also a winner of "The Knot Best of Weddings" 2022, 2023 and 2024.
What Makes Galya Makeup Artistry Different?
Not only do I personally have 10 years of experience, but my assisting artists have been hand-selected and trained by me. This training ensured their abilities to match my expected style of makeup as well as execute previous looks I have done.
We go through a unique customization process for YOU! I encourage you to email me a few images of yourself without makeup and some photos of makeup looks you have in mind. This helps me plan how to best recreate this look on you! Pinterest is a great resource for inspiration, however, once we see your face, we will help determine what will look best on you. We offer our professional advice and opinion with the sole goal of making you feel 100% comfortable and confident with your chosen look!
We do this with each client! We also like to take into consideration other elements such as your dress and bouquet in creating your own personalized look.

I honestly can’t even conjure the words to describe how amazing they are. They have such a gift, and I feel so lucky I got to experience it firsthand.
I honestly couldn’t get over how good I looked - they absolutely nailed the glam. But beyond the flawless execution, they were such a joy to work with. They made me feel so comfortable and brought such a fun, easy energy to the day, which made the whole experience even more special.
I only wish I lived in CHS so I could book them again and again. Could not recommend them more.

I also read countless reviews from other brides saying their makeup held up through crying, wind, sweating, and kissing, which made me feel even more confident booking her, along with Maddy for hair. During my bridal trial, I thought I was set on what I wanted and Galya and Maddy delivered it perfectly. As the wedding got closer, I realized I wanted to make a few small tweaks, and they were more than happy to adjust.
On the wedding day, they absolutely overdelivered. My hair and makeup were everything I wanted and more. I received so many compliments, and I even had a friend ask who I booked because she said it was the best wedding makeup she had ever seen.
