I had a difficult time finding a salon for hair and makeup for my wedding. Thankfully, I found Strawberry Blonde Salon, who exceeded my expectations!! They were incredibly responsive, accommodating, very friendly, and the stylists made sure myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother were all satisfied with our hair and makeup before they left the venue. They listened intently to all of our requests for hair and makeup, and did beautifully! It was evident that their goal was to make each of us all feel beautiful, and we certainly did! They truly made it so easy and effortless; I could not recommend them enough!

I go there for my regular salon visits, so I was looking forward to booking them for my wedding. They were great!

We had 10 people get hair and makeup done on site- and everyone looked perfect. They were able to work with all hair/skin/requests as well!

Jessica and the fabulous team at Strawberry Blonde did SUCH an amazing job on my bridal party, my mother, mother in law, and myself on my wedding day. They did all of our hair and makeup and everyone looked so gorgeous. Jessica did exactly what I wanted with my hair and makeup and I received compliments all day, and for days after, about my updo. The bridal party all were really happy with the results. They also got started on us the minute we all arrived and had us out early so that the girls and I had a little down time at the hotel before we had to get dressed.

My bridal party, mom, and mother-in-law had our hair and makeup done at the salon in West Ashley. Everyone was very pleased with their makeup and hair and I would recommend their services to anyone. They were accommodating to our group and very sweet. It was a perfect morning and start to the wedding day!

I went to Strawberry Blonde for my wedding and they were very nice to work with. I go to the salon regularly to have my hair cut and I've always had good service so I booked hair and makeup with them. My makeup was excellent, and my hair was styled very well. Unfortunately I started to frizz up after about an hour (I have very curly hair that is prone to frizz), but otherwise I was very satisfied. My stylist was great to work with, I didn't have much of an idea of what I was looking for and she somehow managed to translate my weird description into exactly what I was envisioning. I'll definitely still be going back for my haircuts, and if I ever need beauty services again I know who to call.

I just recently had Strawberry Blonde Salon come to my home to style my bridesmaids and I for my wedding. My stylist, Jill, was wonderful and did a great job as did the other stylists for my bridesmaids' hair. However, the management of my wedding was god awful.
Throughout my wedding process I would leave messages and email and never hear from Melinda. Then, 4 weeks before my wedding I went for a trim before my wedding and my stylist, who I go to regularly, mentioned to me that she was scheduled for a cut and color after me on my wedding day and she would not be available to assist with any of my bridesmaids. I am local and picked my stylist who I knew and who some of my bridesmaids knew. My wedding was in November and I booked my stylists the prior January so that was more than enough time to have blocked off their schedules for the day. I contacted Melinda (the wedding coordinator) at this time and she apologized and said it was a scheduling mix up and she was sorry.
Fast forward to wedding day. My stylist did most of my make up after setting my curls before finishing my hair and was going to finish before she left. She did a bridesmaid make up and left and I had no idea. I came out of the back of my house and realized she was gone, prior to finishing my make up. I know it was not her fault, just that she was in a rush to get back to the salon for her other appointment.
I was very disappointed by the management of my wedding day. I go to this salon and know their stylist because they do great work but after paying $100 for them to come to my house and booking them 10 months prior to my wedding I would have expected better service. There was minimal apology and contact after multiple huge mistakes on their part.
I would not recommend them for their wedding services due to poor coordination and client care. Their stylist are amazing but you are rolling the dice with their wedding coordinator.
